The picture made me lol. But seriously, this came as no surprise. The pink DS didn't seem to sell well... in the US at least. @Damo: Geez, women are so unpredictable aren't they...? (Don't take that as a sexist comment, it's just the nature of females to be unpredictable. )
R.I.P, Lou. He was better than Charles Martinet by a long shot. @Koto: Not just MJ and Lou. David Carradine, Farrah Fawcett, Ed McMahon, and Billy Mays, too. Out of those six, Lou was the only one who didn't die this summer.
Decent, but I'm still mildly disappointed. Far better than I was expecting, that's for sure-I was prepared to post an image of a monkey giving a middle finger if this update was bad.
ROFL This game is so crappy I have to laugh at it. There really should be a 0/10 enabled. Just when I think WiiWare can't get any worse, it gets worse. We STILL have no Cave Story, and Nintendo releases total poopoo like this every damn week. What the yodel are they thinking?
I already have Ultra, I'll stick with that. But I'm very happy for those who are excited about this.
Aside from that, I would so move to Japan if I was older... their DSiWare and VC services rock. They'll most likely be the only ones to get EarthBound. * sigh *
It's aged, but definitely enjoyable. An RPG giant that deserves at least an 8. (It's pretty much common knowledge, however, that its sequels are better.)
I agree with this review, MUA 2 was such a disappointment after the original. Good thing I saved the receipt. It's a shame too, as 2009 games generally have more technological power than their 2006 prequels.
I think I'll stick with the TG16 version. I would have bought this for the sake of having more SMS games, but you saved me from buying this. Great review Darren!
@Anyone waiting for Kirby Super Star (except for Bulbasaurus) Um... Kirby Super Star Ultra is still being manufactured, you know. You can buy it for your DS.

Re: Nintendo Download: Shinobi, Brain Training, Combat of Giants, Protöthea and PictureBook Games (EU)
Without the fail WiiWare releases, this is a pretty good update.

WiiWare: Fail
DSiWare: Decent

Re: Review: White-Water Domo (DSiWare)
The way the reveiw sounds, this may be worth $2.
Re: Review: Hard-Hat Domo (DSiWare)
Re: Review: Crash-Course Domo (DSiWare)

Re: Spirit Tracks "Pushes DS Even Further" Than Prequel
@Luigi78: Of course, the goddamn Time Limit dungeon. By some miracle, I managed to get through there
On topic, this isn't very interesting. Sequels are always more advanced aren't they?
Re: Review: Pro-Putt Domo (DSiWare)
Yesterday was a good day in Nintendo download history. I am so buying.
Re: Review: Academy of Champions (Wii)

Re: Review: Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games (Wii)
@JamieO: No, you'll actually have a better time NOT using the balance board. Total gimmick IMO.
Re: Top 20 DSiWare Games in USA (15th Oct)
Thorium Wars made it! W00T!
Unfortunately, MySims Camera is still sitting at #3. Why anyone would waste time and money on such sh*t is beyond me.
Re: Review: Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games (Wii)
Better than I expected, though the tagline made me throw up in my mouth. Almost makes up for the fact that Gravatronix was such a disappointment.
Re: Captain Lou Albano Passes Away
R.I.P, Lou. He was better than Charles Martinet by a long shot.
@Koto: Not just MJ and Lou. David Carradine, Farrah Fawcett, Ed McMahon, and Billy Mays, too. Out of those six, Lou was the only one who didn't die this summer.

Re: Review: Word Searcher (WiiWare)
sigh And WiiWare continues to be overrun with sh*t.
Re: Top 20 DSiWare Games in USA (8th Oct)
I'll bet you ten to one that the ones buying MySims Camera are little kids.
Re: Top 20 DSiWare Games in USA (8th Oct)
Nothing particularly special...
But f*cking Christ, I wish the damn Mario Apps and WarioWare: Snapped would just go away. angry emoticon
Re: Super Yum Yum Puzzle Adventures Coming to DSiWare
One unique DSiWare title announced after another. Things are really looking up.
Re: Nintendo Download: LostWinds, Happy Holidays, Final Fight, Wonder Boy and Dragon Quest (EU)
The best update EU has had in a while, I'd say. Lucky b*stards.

Looks, um, interesting...

Re: It's Official: Nintendo is the Best
It's official now, W00T! Close behind them are Sega and Sony, but Nintendo will always be the BEST.

Re: Review: Art Style: INTERSECT (DSiWare)
Can't wait for this to hit the US.

Re: Review: Dead Space: Extraction (Wii)
Looks awesome. What's the ESRB rating?
Re: Nintendo Download: Art, Beasts, Cars, Paddles and Wars (US)
Altered Beast... 1000 POINTS? What the hell were they thinking?!
That aside, WiiWare and DSiWare got a good update today.
Re: Review: Wacky World of Sports (Wii)
sigh
This looks like a game that deserves a 3 at the most.
Re: Review: Yummy Yummy Cooking Jam (DSiWare)
This still doesn't appeal to me at all.

@Anyone waiting for Kirby Super Star (except for Bulbasaurus)
Um... Kirby Super Star Ultra is still being manufactured, you know. You can buy it for your DS.
Re: Japanese Virtual Console List - October 2009
Kirby Super Star? Well, I suppose that doesn't matter now, because KSSU is better in every way possible.
Re: Nintendo Download: R-Type, Cubes, Monkey Island, Poker and Cookery (EU)
A "meh" week for EU, for the most part.
