Mario Kart 8 Deluxe isn't the only racer on Switch getting some attention, the relatively new racer on the block Chocobo GP has also been receiving regular patches.
The latest one (Version 1.2.1) follows on from the major update in July (Version 1.2.0), which was described as a "large-scale update" featuring improvements, changes and adjustments. Version 1.2.1 includes multiple fixes.
Below are the full patch notes, courtesy of the Square Enix support page:

Your lives shall end as rust upon my steel!
Does anyone even still play this?
@Broski I do.
Any word on that other kart racer, Disney Speedstorm, that last I saw had a release date of "summer 2022". I mean it's September, that's cutting it kinda close. 🤷
@rjejr There's a Disney and Marvel Games Showcase on Friday so very likely the release date appears there.
@Broski 5 people I expect with the guy who responded to you being 1 out of those 5.
@RubyCarbuncle sadly yes, most of the time you play against lobbies full of bots.
@Luigivaldo Pretty much hence the reason I deleted my copy. Such a shame because it could have been so much more.
@Broski I still play this and the og all the time, overhated series
@Grumblevolcano Is that the D23 thing? Not to be confused w/ D+ day which I think is the next day?
Disney isn't some small rinky dink Playtonic, they should be able to tell people if Speedstorm is coming out on Switch or not. No listing in the eShop for a game that both was in a Direct and listed for the past few months is weird.
Thanks as always for the info, I'll keep an eye out.👍
@Broski I do too, but not as often. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is KING.👑
@rjejr yeah I totally forgot about that game. I wonder when it will be released too😅
Unfortunately, another patch rolls around and they haven't fixed the awful monetization of the game.
Really happy to hear the support continue. The game is amazing. Obviously everyone complaining about the micro-transaction has not played the game, as I have yet to see ANYONE spend 1 extra dollar for this game. They gave SO much mithril for free in this game, you pretty much cannot run out of it. I bought every season pass so far, every extra songs, and many extra costumes, and I have still over 3000 Mithrils.
To be frank, ever since it released, I'm not even playing MK8D anymore, I have more fun with this, since it feels more fair since you can actually protect yourself against most attack if you manage your items/skill correctly. Luck is still involved, BUT WAY LESS SO than Mario Kart.
@VoidofLight I can tell u don't have the game they basically give you everything for free
@Drac_Mazoku I agree it's better then Mario kart it's just need more tracks n some more big name dlc
@RubyCarbuncle nope I play to its really a good game
@eazyedd2 I never tried the game because the reviews for it mentioned how bad the monetization is.
@VoidofLight Everything was fixed after the first week. And ever since Season 2, it's even more crazy with how much they're giving you stuff for free. While they shouldnt have done this in the first place, if a developper aknowledge a problem and fix it almost right away, then people should at least give the game a chance. People all over the internet are always screaming developpers never listen...and when they do VERY QUICKLY...well it seems they continue to rant without even knowing what they're talking about. It's really sad. I never saw a game get so much undeserved hate at this point. Everytime I see a Chocobo GP article, I'm ALWAYS expecting the first few comments talking about "how they should remove microtransaction", clearly showing people never even played the game.
@Drac_Mazoku tbh I think it's more on the reviewers' side to add some disclaimers or updates their reviews but most of the time they don't. They only play games for a couple hours, even less and go with that first experience. I don't blame them either.
But yeah, the game is really fun and Ult & spell management are key to win consistently and you're not seeing the same 3 characters being played all the time unlike higher MK8D ranks.
My only gripe with the game is that after Season 1, SE removed drift cancel that gave to the game so much personality, like wavedashing in Melee and snaking in early Mario Kart games but oh well.
@BlueCoolYoshi I've been back and forth w/ them on twitter, b/c I'm a jerk that way, and they did point me to it on the Nintendo website.

Still can't find it on the Switch eShop though, where I'm guessing 95% of people look for Switch games, not the website.
But it still says "Summer 2022". On Labor Day. 😝 So they have like 12 hours left. 😂
@Grumblevolcano D+ day was today so Disney day tomorrow so I'm just thanking you in advance for reminding me. 👍 Won't hold you responsible for what is or isn't in it. 😉
