Re: Review: SEGA Mega Drive Classics - A Welcome Stroll Down Memory Lane

LordVal

I'm not a big Sega Fan. The only Sega System I was hyped about was the Dreamcast, but every other console before was just not right for me. But I'm a collector so I own every Sega Console never playing it so much. Yesterday I got this Collection and I thought "meh!", but I played it. After the third game I felt so guilty for not playing Mega Drive back in the days. This Collection is outstanding.

The limited edition, the museum, the presentation and everything around the games are awesome, but the games themself are garbage. Thought it will be better coop with a friend, but after playing every game 5-10min we were very unsatisfied yesterday night.
Everyone is playing the nostalgic card, but the games on this collection were even garbage back in the days and I was born in 75.

Re: Reminder: Free-To-Play Sci-Fi Shooter Warframe Is Now Available On The Switch eShop

LordVal

Downloaded it at midnight and didn't slept so much the last two days. I'm really impressed. It's a lot of stuff to do and I don't understand the mod thing and how I can spend Plat for more slots, but the community is very helpful and you can always be supported in missions because everyone wants to help you. That's great.
The only neg point is pvp maybe cause it's very strange to play imo. But pve is awesome. Nice to see this game on the Switch running smoothly.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 27th)

LordVal

@617Sqn imo yes. Sometimes it's way to easy and you think you can't loose, sometimes it's really hard. The best thing about it is that you can slow it down and play it as a relaxing game at the evening or you can fast forward and having a big challenge.
But honestly 10โ‚ฌ would be fair. 20โ‚ฌ just when you don't give a f...

911 Operator and Manticore. After completing Starlink I'm still on the Space-shooter-hype-train and 911 Operator is a perfect in between game for coming down.
Oh, and I bought Dragon Ball Fighterz cause it was on sale for 29โ‚ฌ. I want to go back to fighting games and this one should help.

Re: Manticore: Galaxy On Fire

LordVal

Never bought it because the ratings were not good enough and it looked not so impressive in the YT Videos. Now it's on sale and because I'm still on the Starlink-Hype-Train I thought "why not" : OMG is this an amazing game. This is how a space shooter should be Imo.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 20th)

@Woosh193 no, I have 100%. Rescued every planet, made every mission, every weapon, mostly every shop and three pilots. There is no single red or purple spot left on my maps.

@MisterDevil & @Pirlo_ze_sniper it doesn't show me the time. There is written "played it the first time 10 days ago", but I played it maybe two hours a day.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 20th)

LordVal

@SimplyCinnamon53 basically yes. But after defeating the boss you can do every planet 100%. In my case I didn't visited three of them and could finish the game either way. After the Maincampaign and the Starfoxcampaign it starts getting a little bit boring. Ubisoft should have implemented different storylines for each pilot. So evertime you buy a new one you earn a little different experience.
But don't get me wrong. The game is nice. Just not the huge thing I was expecting.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 20th)

Got Starlink last Friday. Have already 100%. Was too short for me. I thought this will be a game for months. Bought almost every ship, weapon and pilot and now I have no use for it. It's a great game, but way to less content. It's shorter than an original Starfox.
But tonight we will play it coop and some NeoGeo.

Re: Review: Starlink: Battle For Atlas - A Shining Example Of Open World Star Fox Done Right

LordVal

Ubisoft sent it to me on Friday and it's was a fantastic weekend. But now I want other weapons and this will be very expensive. Some weapons I want are only in a complete set. The ships and pilots are nice, but I don't want to buy them all physically. The best way to buy this game is the digital deluxe edition imo.
I will never change the pilot or the ship, but I want all the different weapons.

Re: Review: Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition - A 2D Wrestling Riot That Shines Again On Switch

LordVal

Had it on Vita. This game falls for me in the same category like Dead Cells, Child of Light, Hyperlight Drifter or Hollow Knight. I don't know why, but there comes a point where I don't have fun while playing these titles. First I'm loving playing them, but sooner or later it's over. Axiom Verge, Ghost 1.0, The Messenger, Cave Story or Xeodrifter, which are all more or less in the same genre, are one of the best games I've ever played in my life, but Guacamelee.... can't say why. It just bores me at some point.

Re: Dragon Ball FighterZ - A Stunning Switch Port That Will Leave You Breathless

LordVal

@Caryslan for me it's the other way around.
But that's not my point. In Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Guilty Gear, Blazblue or whatever "older" game, it's nearly to impossible to win a match by just mashing buttons. In DB Fighterz, Blazblue CTB or Blade Strangers it's a common thing. And that's sad imo. I want to learn complicate combos and master the game. And of course you can do it in a DBFighterz too, but the way is much easier and not satisfying to me.
