@Sarkos Cakes and Attack Boosts can be bought at shops and Rare Stones are obtained through challenges. Star Coins is just currency. Basically, you're not missing anything special/rare

@maulinks They just meant that the next installment in the Science Adventure series, Chaos;Head Noah/Chaos;Child, is coming to Switch.

Steins;Gate is a part of the Science Adventure series, as is Robotics;Notes so they felt the need to mention them since they're part of the same series as Chaos;Head.

@crudfish The 3DS had a fair share of enhanced rereleases/remakes. Strange Journey Redux, Survivor Overclocked/Record Breaker, Soul Hackers, Perfect Chronology, EO Untold 1+2. Sure they add stuff to said games but they're not completely new games.

The reason as to why their output isn't as large is most likely, as Vincent said, that 3DS games are cheaper to develop than modern HD games. Plus a lot of them probably reuse assets to save time/money so it's faster to pump them out.

@crudfish There's also P5 Strikers, Nocturne HD, Catherine Full Body, P4 Arena Ultimax, and 13 Sentinels. It's not the most amazing lineup but they aren't completely ignoring the Switch.

@glaemay But this game isn't Playstation exclusive so why is Sony the one to blame for it not coming to Switch

@Pikachupwnage The announcement trailer is also on Atlus West with English subs saying it's coming on August 26th so we only have to wait an extra day instead of 4-6 months.

@Smt_nerd The only way I see that happening is if the Japanese fans do it as they'll probably be more likely to listen to them than to Western fans. Even then, I doubt they'll retract their decision as I don't remember any time Nintendo has retracted a business decision because of fan outrage. If they did, NSO Expansion wouldn't be $50 lol

@Silly_G Problem is if the Amiibo functionality is too good/has too good of a feature, then we get another Loftwing Amiibo scenario. The best option would be to, as you said, just give him costumes of the Amiibo scanned. Wooly World did that with Yoshi. That way it has value but not too much value.

@GameOtaku I think it'll come sometime in 2022 so SMT V has more than a month to shine before it gets overshadowed by Persona. Perhaps as one of the later Anniversary events

@Yomogi I think it's possible for P5/mainline Persona to come to Switch but Atlus should've capitalized on the Smash hype when they had the chance instead of using it on spin-offs like Strikers and Q2. It's been 2 years and at this point, I imagine a good chunk of people who wanted it on Switch either lost interest or played it on PS3/PS4/RPCS3 already. Not saying it wouldn't be hype if it did come over or it wouldn't sell well now (because it still would) but I definitely feel like it was a missed opportunity to not port them while the Persona in Smash hype train was in full swing.

At least we have SMT though

@Rayquaza2510 I think what turns people off is the fact that the online itself sucks. Smash is a 50/50 on whether or not your match will be a lagfest. Mario Maker 2 has horrendous lag in multiplayer that makes it borderline unplayable at times. Splatoon 2 is smooth but disconnects are common. 3D World lags. Super Mario Party has disconnects (from what I've heard). I'm sure there's other examples but you get the idea. If the internet was actually good then that's a different story

Welp time for another round of internet wars regarding Nintendo and their questionable practices that make people question why they even like Nintendo in the first place.

IMO they should've made a third tier for "DLC expansions" where you get all the N64/Genesis perks plus access to DLC expansions like HHP, Octo Expansion, etc. for $50 and a lower tier if you just wanted the N64/Genesis stuff for $30

For $50 though, I hope they add more consoles to that expansion. Adding GameCube, Dreamcast, and the Game Boy family would definitely make it more worth it to me, even if it's just a rental service. Also hoping that when the next console comes out and it becomes the focus for Nintendo that they release the collections on the Eshop so we can actually own them but I don't see that happening any time soon
