I'd highly recommend SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked instead of Soul Hackers, it's much better IMO.

Upgrading to a New 3DS this late into the lifecycle seems like a waste. If my 3DS were to break, then I would upgrade, but it doesn't seem worth it considering the 3DS is probably only going to get a few more major titles before riding off into the sunset.

Commercially, the Wii U was a massive failure the likes of which Nintendo hasn't seen since the Virtual Boy.

History will look back on it as such. It had some good games, but the library paled in comparison to previous console generations.

I'm excited to play Moon, but still not sure if I can buy into all the hype considering X/Y got glowing reviews as well, and I thought that gen was average at best.

I wonder if they couldn't afford Ichiro, since he's an absolute mega star in Japan, but I suppose Tanaka makes sense since he's a younger star.

Much sooner than I was expecting, Jan/Feb are crowded with JRPGs, so this might sadly have to be put on the back burner for me, though I'll still buy it day one to support the series.

The World Ends With You was such a perfect example of how Dual Screen could change the way these games are played, but the vast majority of games I've played on the DS/3DS didn't really take advantage of the feature. I'm much more concerned with Switch's battery life and off-dock performance than a lack of dual screen.

According to Neogaf, an allegedly reputable insider (Laura Dale) has stated that the battery life (according to a source at Ubisoft) of the Switch will be Maximum three hours.

If this is the case, this thing will probably not sell well enough. Maybe better than Wii U though.

Looks promising, but a lot of info is still missing before I decide whether to get it next year or not. Namely backwards compatibility (physically/digitally for 3DS, digitally for Wii U) and the portable battery life.

I'm excited, but it's way too premature to be "all in", let's see how those console games perform on the handheld first.

I'm glad the game sounds good, but 8/10 just doesn't cut it for a Paper Mario game. The first two were classics, I really wish they'd go back to that formula.

Pokemon is literally the only one I plan to buy. Though I'd be interested in Paper Mario if I had a Wii U.

This was an obvious, but gigantic move for Nintendo. This will do extraordinarily well for them.

Really looks like they're giving the series a much needed injection of new systems and mechanics.

Sony doesn't have any IP close to as valuable as Pokemon, for them to think they could reach that mainstream level of success is asinine. That being said, getting into the mobile market is inevitable for any video game company that wants to remain relevant in the Japanese market going into the future.

It looks like a (relatively) low budget knockoff. This is definitely not Pikmin 4.

No sharing online completely ruins Mario Maker. Wouldn't touch this one unless its a 9.99 eshop title.

Fingers crossed for Pokemon Gold/Silver on the Eshop.

Guessing maybe Dragon Quest 8 will be there too.

Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger and Mario All Stars.

I really wish they'd continue adding to the 3DS Virtual Console, but maybe they're just waiting for NX at this point.

I wonder how much of a boost in sales Sun and Moon will enjoy based on Pokemon Go's overwhelming success.

It might not be as big as some people think, but I'm sure it won't be negligible either.

Was not expecting much from this, very nice surprise to see it reviewed in high regard.

I passed on Map Pack 1, but definitely getting this.

Grabbing Stella Glow while it's on discount, game looks great, but didn't want to pay full price for it with an already extensive backlog.

Blue was the first video game I can remember playing, so I'll be grabbing that for maximum nostalgia.

I'm still so bummed out about the removal of Japanese Audio, I'm surprised there doesn't seem to be as much issue with that as there was with censorship/editing.

I haven't heard the soundtrack yet, but if it's anything like the original game's, it would be a really nice pickup.

Fates should be great, but End Layer is definitely my most hype Nintendo release this year.

Watching this one very closely, definitely getting it if reviews are positive.

Disappointed that this is the "Big news", since Volcanion has been datamined for years now.

Looking back it really wasn't a very good year for Nintendo. Some great games, but not as many as usual.

Weak line up for me. Might be interested in TLoL if it gets good reviews.

Fortunately, I still have ~200 hours or so of games on my backlog.

This was absolutely the highlight of Nintendo E3 for me. I LOVE these Mario&Luigi RPG games.
