There are some handsome special editions on the way with a few key upcoming releases, and the Bravely Second: End Layer Deluxe Collector's Edition is among the best. Confirmed for the European release on 26th February, it includes the following.
- Bravely Second: End Layer game
- A Deluxe Artbook (250+ pages)
- An Agnès Mini Figurine
- The Original Soundtrack CD
For those keen to get hold of this the good news is that, in the UK at least, pre-orders are open. The official Nintendo UK store has it for £69.99, while GAME is offering it for £64.99. At present Amazon UK isn't taking pre-orders, nor is Amazon Germany at the time of writing; different retailers throughout Europe may be opening their pre-orders soon.
At the moment this sequel doesn't have a confirmed release date for North America.
Are any of you in Europe tempted to pick this up?

I'm okay with this not having a U.S. release date yet. I'm really looking forward to it, but I'm looking forward to Fire Emblem Fates more, so I likely won't be buying it until around April anyway.
Aaaargh, I want this so bad but with Twilight Princess, Hyrule Warriors and a big birthday celebration to save up for in the weeks after I'm going to have to decline it for the time being. Grrrr!
I will get the game but don't see the point in this pre-order offer. (well, the book could be interesting but it does not gives enough reason for the supplement price)
The Xenoblade Chronicles X special edition pales in comparison. Square-Enix knows what makes an enticing package.
If I had a 3DS and played the first one, i would probably be excited!
Preordered, sure it's £5 more at the Ninty store but at least it won't be cancelled at the slightest hiccup.
I'm just glad to get an Agnes figure that doesn't look like it's gotten napalmed.
I haven't heard the soundtrack yet, but if it's anything like the original game's, it would be a really nice pickup.
Amazon Germany had this preorder open like a month ago I managed to get my order ^_^
Preordered from Nintendo UK Store. Worth paying the extra £5 over GAME any day.
I'm still keeping my eye out for a Fire Emblem Fates special edition to preorder. Does anyone know if we're supposed to be getting one in Europe?
I'm interested in the collectors edition.
I would preorder at GAME but they have screwed up MORE than a few times to insure that I will NEVER preorder from them.
I need to find a place who sells this and also ships to Finland.
I'm getting the special edition. I bought Bravely Default art book and soundtrack separately so it's nice to get everything in the same package for less money. The figurine looks nice too.
@Andyliini
I would suggest putting Discshop on some sort of site update notifier, I got my pre-order in when they suddenly had more of them available after the first batch sold out.
Hopefully this game won't save corrupt like the first one because of auto-save.
Birthday soon. Enough said.
@MarinoKadame Wait, when did that happen?
All I can say is, Bravely Second had better have a freaking figurine when it comes to US.
I need this game to come soon to US.... I need it and with the collector edition... (I got the first one, only collector edition I have bought and it was because of the hype and it was worth it)
Like many other, pre-ordered from nintendo, no chance are game getting my hard earned, I'll happily pay the extra £5
Definitely getting this! I would prefer to have a figure of one of the new characters like Magnolia though because I have Agnes from the first special edition!
The limited edition looks great, it I'm not interested in this game enough to justify paying that price.
I liked Edea better than Agnes, too bad the figure isn't of her...mrrr grr grrr.
That figurine seems to be missing an NFC-enabled base... Hmmm
So why isn't there a US release date yet?
Last I checked, the UK speaks the same language as the US.
Nice edition, but I need that Fates special edition to be up for pre-orders..
@Tuulenpoika
Actually, I was able to find one from Konsolinet, but it was quite expensive. I need to see if I can find it elsewhere.
Only way I'm buying this game is if that Agnes fig is released in a CE in North America.
UK only? anyone know where to order for EU?
Even though I live in the US, I am still glad to see Europe getting some recent early releases. I always felt people in Europe and the UK had to wait longer for most games. But with recent releases such as Wooly World, Paper Jam (Bros.), and Bravely Second, things look to be changing.
Preordered. I'll have the limited edition box sets of both games when it arrives
The Deluxe Limited edition of the first game was a Shopto.net exclusive in the UK, strangely.
Q) Are any of you in Europe tempted to pick this up?
A) I just pre-ordered my copy from GAME. If I remember correctly, when a pre-order price is that high, it's usually the entire price of the game. I believe the same thing ocurred when I pre-ordered my copy of Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water.
Amongst the games I wanted this year, Bravely Second was going to be one of my cheaper purchases, but for a special edition like this, I'm willing to spend a bit more than planned. It helps that Agnes is my favourite of the Bravely series characters; so a figurine of her is a great incentive. I think after this special edition, I'll have to pass on most other special editions if they pop up this year... well, if Genei Ibun Roku #FE gets a special edition, I'll definitely be getting that.
Heads up for uk fans preordering off the Nintendo Store if you use discount code 'MARIOCALENDAR1' or 'ZELDACALENDAR1' you'll get either a free Mario or Zelda 2016 calendar that will ship straight away because the order is over £50
Fire Emblem Fates has the best special edition, "oh you will get 3 games, an artbook, a pouch, all in one package for a little more", so awesome

@tonybrightside Thanks for that. Just re-preordered and used the Zelda code!
I'll be waiting for reviews for this one. Bravely Default was an incredibly average to out right bad game and was one of the most disappointing games I've played at the time. Don't want to be disappoint a second time, especially since I heard nothing but bad things about the sequel from those who imported the game.
@Andyliini
That's exactly why I suggested Discshop, they have surprisingly had the cheapest price for the limited edition of any places I've seen, 90€. I think it's a very reasonable price for this package, unlike the 130€ many places are asking for it.
Already ordered the regular version, the huge artbook sounds tempting, but I can probably live without it.
@Andyliini: CDON seems to have some for 100€ if you're still looking.
@Late
Got it, thanks.
