Tempted by the TG-16 games, but not at those prices. I'm currently playing through Dragon Skills and Power Disc Slam for review purposes so I'm occupied as it is.
@Gauchorino I was just spitballing with my knowledge of Mandarin. I don't know any Cantonese. I know it doesn't affect Mandarin speakers because I've always known Pikachu as 皮卡丘 here in the mainland. Rather, it seems Cantonese has had it as 比卡超. (Which pronouncing it in Mandarin sounds less like the original Pikachu) It's definitely a strange issue for Nintendo.
I can see why they are protesting, but it just seems superfluous. It's not as though Nintendo are localising to Chinese for the comparatively small Hong Kong market, compared to the mainland Chinese market.
Also, as a learner of Mandarin Chinese, simplified is so much nicer.
Finally published my review of this. Obviously, it's an excellent game and should be owned by just about everyone. It was actually my first Shantae game I'm ashamed to say.
@jariw Well it's under embargo so I'm not exactly sure what I'm allowed to say right now. I'll just say you won't need to worry about it being a bad game.
Looking forward to NL's review of this. Sadly it looks as though I won't be getting a chance to review it so I'll be turning to you guys for your opinion on whether to buy it or not.
I loved playing and reviewing this game for the first time when it released on the VC. I had an N64 back in the day, but somehow this slipped me buy. Fantastic game!
@antdickens I'm liking it so far, nice work. The navigation bar is incredibly annoying though, appearing and disappearing all the time. Mainly because it's so big. I'd personally prefer it if it was reduced in size when away from the top of the page (I don't know if that's possible) or just keep it at the top.
Also, I'm not looking at what I'm writing because every time there's a new comment, the writing box gets pushed down.
Happy to be able to play this once more. Played it for about 10 hours so far, will probably do a review at some point. I like it a lot more than I did back in the day as it didn't quite live up to the original Playstation game.
@Arthurial I don't think the review is unfair to be honest. It's still an oversight that they and Nintendo are responsible for. Don't get me wrong, as soon as the issue and solution was highlighted I immediately updated the review and published a follow up video showing my findings after switching to the internal memory. A "before and after" if you will. I then changed my verdict on the game from "Stay well clear of it" to "It's a decent co-op game if you have it stored internally"
I'm a small time reviewer so not too many people will see it, just be glad the devs did so they can quickly patch it up.
The game's over 2GB so I think there will be plenty of people having it on an external hard drive.
I did a review of this too. I thought single player was unbalanced during the more frantic moments but it should be a decent co-op game. Technical issues aside.

Re: Two More Discounts Arrive on My Nintendo in Europe
Yawn.
Re: More Discounts and Downloads Arrive on My Nintendo in Europe
If I had enough gold coins I'd probably get Pilotwings. It's game I've always wanted to try.
Re: Let Yacht Club Games Know What Game You'd Like Next
Shovel Knight 2: Would be kinda cool, but I'd be up for something more adventurous right now.
Shovel & Shield Knight: Co-op gameplay? Would be nice for some, not for me.
Shovel Kart: Would be interesting!
Mega-Man: The series never clicked with me, so I wouldn't care for this.
Metroid: ALL MY YES!
Mario: Could be a fun distraction.
Zelda: WAIT GIVE SOME YES TO THIS TOO.
Spelunky: Meh. I'm sure these guys could make it work though.
Final Fantasy: WHERE ARE THE SPARE YESSES?
Mario RPG: ^
Contra: Don't think my reflexes can take it.
Landstalker: I don't even know what this is.

Re: Hong Kong Pokémon Fans Protest Over New Translation Issues with Sun and Moon
@ASonic3582 Yeah that seems to be the problem; renaming Pokemon they've known for decades. The article really wasn't clear.
Re: Hong Kong Pokémon Fans Protest Over New Translation Issues with Sun and Moon
The sign seems to be about naming differences for the Pokemon.
Apparently Pikachu should be Bi Ka Chao, not Pi Ka Qiu.
Kind funny.

Re: Nintendo Download: 26th May (Europe)
Might have to finally get Persona Q. Can't say no at that price.
Re: Review: Tachyon Project (Wii U eShop)
I did a review of this too. Surprisingly good game, really enjoyed it.

Re: Review: Epic Dumpster Bear (Wii U eShop)
@Spoony_Tech It's not an endless runner. It's a platformer like 2D Mario. =)

Re: Review: Epic Dumpster Bear (Wii U eShop)
I just published my review too. Surprisingly good game. Don't judge a book by its cover!
Re: Review: Star Sky 2 (Wii U eShop)
I did a review of this too. It's like the first game, but better.
Re: Review: Chasing Dead (Wii U eShop)
I reviewed this game a while ago. I thought it was one of the best worst games I've ever played. Aside from the framerate and crashes, of course.
Re: Video: Nintendo Spring Partner Preview Spotlights Upcoming eShop Games
Not that I'm bothered, but I noticed no Mighty No.9.
Re: Yacht Club Games Gives Details on Huge Shovel Knight Sales in Extensive Blog and Infographic
Plague of Shadows cost $1,000,000!? I kinda feel guilty for abandoning it after a few stages.
Re: Review: The Beggar's Ride (Wii U eShop)
I reviewed this too, I thought it was rather average to be honest.
Re: Review: Grumpy Reaper (Wii U eShop)
I reviewed this too. The grinding for keys was a really bad design choice.
Re: Mighty No. 9's Release Date Remains A Mighty Mystery
I've stopped caring to be honest.

Re: Review: REPLAY: VHS is Not Dead (Wii U eShop)

Re: Review: Return to Popolocrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale (3DS)
I thought it was great too. One of the best games I've gotten to review so far!
Re: Nintendo Download: 10th March (Europe)
I'm currently playing Star Ghost. I'm so terrible at shooters.
Re: Pocket Card Jockey Comes to the 3DS This May
So... North America? Europe?
Re: Video: Satoru Shibata Celebrates Yo-Kai Watch European Release News With Some Killer Dance Moves
I said it in the Rhythm Heaven news article, I'll say it again. Shibata is a legend.
Re: Rhythm Heaven Megamix Dancing onto 3DS
Best bit of the Direct. Also shows that Shibata is a legend.
Re: Interview: PopoloCrois Creator Yohsuke Tamori on Return to PopoloCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale
It's a good game. I enjoyed it, although I think its simplicity will put some gamers off.
Re: Review: Bravely Second: End Layer (3DS)
I've been refreshing the home page expecting the Return to PopoloCrois review to compare it to mine, this pops up instead
Re: Nintendo Download: 18th February (Europe)
@stocko
It's eShop only in Europe. Physically in NA which is sad. :/
Re: Nintendo Download: 18th February (Europe)
I'm currently finishing up my Return to PopoloCrois review. Aside from that, it's some real slim pickings this week.
Re: 6180 the Moon Arrives on the Wii U eShop on 25th February
Looks interesting, although it'd be a nightmare to do a video review of it.
