Hmm... I love a good game of Trivial Pursuit. But I've been burned with video game versions before which are heavily focused on North American knowledge.
For me, it's the best arcade shooter on the Switch. I've played all the Psikyo shooters released on the Switch so far and I love most (sorry, not you Sol Divide) of them. Gunbird 2 trumps them. A notch above Tengai.
I remember Nintendolife being equally harsh to the original. Now, I played the Wii U one back in the day and now this one and while I can't say I noticed every individual addition or improvement, I can definitely say it's a more well polished release this time (even though I did enjoy the Wii U one a lot too)
@Joker13z Joking aside, I actually liked his reviews when he was taking them seriously. He's a good writer.
Any idea why? I remember him saying a while back he loved the art of writing reviews and wanted to keep it alive, even if it wasn't worth it views-wise.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE That first video you embedded is my review
Yeah, overall it's a slight disappointment mainly due to the high difficulty. Failing your way to the credits isn't satisfactory at all. Shame since it had potential to be brilliant.
As a resident of China, it's very easy to get games and consoles here. Just look on TaoBao, for example. The only thing that may be different in this regard could be a Mandarin translation, not that the Chinese seem to mind playing in English/Japanese.
Poor showing NL. You can get many of these "deals" and games much cheaper elsewhere. I know Amazon Associates can get you an extra bit of income, but if you're going to provide "deals", at least take care of your readership by not directing them to more expensive purchases.
I can't get my head around people spending so much money on a watch. I felt bad buying a £30 one. I suppose if people want to waste their money on them, it's their choice.

Re: Cities: Skylines - A SimCity Successor That Struggles To Shine On Switch
Currently hopelessly addicted to this. Not the best looking or optimised port in the world, but it's still a damn fine game.
Re: Review: Spheroids (Switch eShop)
Having played this on the Wii U... it's not great but it's not terrible either.
Re: Nintendo Download: 19th July (North America)
What happened to Dom?
Re: Retail Release Of The Banner Saga Trilogy Requires Net Download And microSD Card
This has gone from insta-buy, to me not even looking at it twice. They may as well not even bother.

Re: Review: Spartan (Switch eShop)
Man, I started playing this for a review. Thankfully other important games came along to take priority. Otherwise I would have teared it a new one.
Re: Review: Hollow (Switch eShop)
Man, they were angry at me for giving it 3.5. How pissed will they be with a huge site like Nintendo Life giving it even lower.
Re: Review: Detention (Switch eShop)
@Nincompoop You know exactly what I mean dude. =)
Re: Review: Detention (Switch eShop)
@SayGuh Thanks! Find it odd to get noticed outside of Switch Watch. Must mean we're on the right lines =)
And I've been told that I sound different to how I look many times haha
Re: Review: Detention (Switch eShop)
@Nincompoop Well, I was commenting on the language which is Chinese. Plus, I live in China so I know all about it haha.
Re: Review: Detention (Switch eShop)
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Just to correct you, it's Chinese, not Japanese =)

Re: New RiME Patch Addresses A Multitude Of Sins On Switch
Well, they've earned at least one extra sale from the patch. I'll be picking it up now
Re: Review: ChromaGun (Switch eShop)
A tad higher than I would have put it. High price, short game, no visual improvements since it's mobile days.
Re: Review: Shu (Switch eShop)
I'm sure the embargo for this is the 21st.
Re: Review: Mantis Burn Racing (Switch eShop)
Wow, I played this and thought it was bland and boring.
Re: Xenoraid Will Bring Its Spin on Shoot 'em Up Action to the Switch eShop
10tons have put out some decent stuff so far. This doesn't look great, however.
Re: Review: Morphite (Switch eShop)
I found this to be quite a fair review if anyone's looking for a second opinion. Seems to be a bit more positive:

Still looking a bit rough.

Um, no?

Re: Super Mario Odyssey Is The Best Rated Game Of All Time
Wait until Jim Sterling puts up a review.
Re: Limited Run Games Will Publish Physical Copies of Indie Titles On Switch Next Year
Should probably credit Paul for the photo =)
Re: Nintendo Download: 14th September (North America)
Here's a review for Beach Buggy Racing if anyone was interested in that. Looks okay actually.

Re: Review: Fatal Fury 2 (Switch eShop / Neo Geo)
Along with Fatal Fury 1, this goes into the "poor" category for me.

Re: Nintendo Download: 27th July (Europe)
They hold back Brain Training for years, only to release it alongside two other first-party titles. Genius haha.
Re: Fatal Fury Special Is Next Week’s ACA Neo Geo Game
@EDF
It's not SNK publishing these.
Re: Fatal Fury Special Is Next Week’s ACA Neo Geo Game
Hopefully it's an improvement on Fatal Fury 2.
Re: The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ Is Finally Getting Its Euro Launch This September
It seems Head Up games are as bad at releasing Nicalis games in Europe as Nicalis are.
Re: European My Nintendo Rewards Bring Swapdoodle DLC, ARMS Wallpaper And More Discounts
-_-
Re: Danmaku Unlimited 3 Is Bringing Bullet Hell Brilliance To The Switch
YES.
Re: First Impressions: Hacking and Slashing with Style in Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star
Played this on the Vita. The story was frankly awful and embarrassing, but the gameplay was great!
Re: Poll: Did the ARMS Global Testpunch Land a Knockout Blow?
Decent game no doubt, just not for me.

Re: Poll: Who Would You Like To See In Super Smash Bros. For Nintendo Switch?
Isaac, from Golden Sun.
Why does the poll include Isaac from Binding of Isaac, but not Isaac from Nintendo's own IP?
Re: Co-Operative Blast 'Em Up Nine Parchments Is Casting Its Spell On Switch
For the record, Has-Been Heroes is great. I'm looking forward to this. It looks as though they've just modified their Trine series.
Re: New Nobunaga's Ambition Title Confirmed For Nintendo Switch
They need to get on the ball with Romance of the Three Kingdoms. I'm dying to play that.
Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch)
No doubt about it.
Re: Review: Toby: The Secret Mine (Wii U eShop)
Eh? I thought this game was pretty cool.
Re: Nintendo Download: 5th January (Europe)
@sandman89
I recently got an email from Base (where I preordered it) saying it had been delayed until Feb 3rd

Re: Nintendo of Europe Confirms eShop Cyber Deals for Black Friday
Only 40%, not enough of a bargain to make me compulsively buy things.
Re: Review: F-Zero X (Wii U / N64)
@impurekind Honestly, I played this game to death on the N64. Didn't feel any different here. Saying that, it was a loooong time ago.
Re: Review: F-Zero X (Wii U / N64)
I've been playing this for a good few hours today. Played with the Pro Controller, didn't notice any problems at all.
EDIT: I should probably say that F-Zero X is an amazing game, but you all knew that already.
Re: Soapbox: Captain Falcon, We Have A Problem With F-Zero X on Wii U
Was playing this yesterday. Didn't notice any problems. Although maybe that's because I only used the Pro Controller?
Re: Classic Game Music Gets a Jazzy Twist in New Game+ Album
If that Great Fairy track is supposed to sell the album, I'm out. That drum beat... Couldn't get passed the first minute.

Re: Nindie Favourites Coming To Wii U Disc Under Nintendo eShop Selects Label
Well I already have FAST downloaded, but I might get the Steamworld collection later down the line.
