As someone who was lucky enough to have played, and subsequently adored, the Playtest Program, I'm really hoping we get a reveal for a full public release soon. We only got to play it for no more than 2 weeks, but I still miss it dearly!

I'd really love to see Pizza Tower come to Switch, but afaik the creator didn't want to port it for some reason?

One of the biggest missed opportunities was to make 3 Super Mario 3D All-Stars amiibo akin to the Zelda Anniversary amiibo series, one for each game - Mario with the wing cap, Mario with FLUDD, and Mario with Master Luma. I'm guessing they didn't because the collection was limited release, meaning they wouldn't be able (want to) sell them for longer than the game.

The amount of snobbery present in this email is so cringeworthy. Also, if Microsoft ever did buy Nintendo it would suck all of the soul out of every Nintendo franchise, and I wouldn't put it past them to just order certain franchises to just dissolve. Like could you really imagine them wanting to continue the Splatoon or some of the nicher franchisees Nintendo has?

If all these rumours end up becoming true, then the Switch 2 is shaping up to be an amazing console, with the exception of the supposed lack of an OLED display, which after switching to Switch OLED I just personally couldn't go back to LCD, and I'd have to wait for a theoretical Switch 2 OLED.

I'd have preferred it if this was an option alongside regular online co-op, but just for friends.

I see people saying they prefer this method, as regular online co-op is really laggy like it was in Mario Maker 2 and 3D World, but if you would want to play with friends who have a really strong wired connection like I have then I should have the option to do so...

I'm sorry, but that piece of concept art looks miles better, prettier, more coherent than the final product of Scarlet and Violet. It genuinely makes me really sad that the Devs aren't able to actually produce a game that actually looks like this, cause their goal of 'real and deform' absolutely did not come to cohesion unfortunately. I hope some day that another company with more experience with technical fidelity can aid Game Freak with Gen 10/whatever comes next, just like Namco Bandai helped with Smash Bros.

Why do they even have permission to do this? I would have thought with how protective Nintendo is that they would have only allowed themselves to do this, not some random company that already seems sketchy based on the use of ai-generated art and history of worsening game experiences on Steam 🤨

I love playing Pikmin Bloom semi-regularly, however, like many people seem to think, I think classic Pikmin enemies should be utilised for raids with unique bonuses, maybe alongside mushrooms that could be considered a 'basic' raid?

I also think incorporating the captains/characters, like Olimar or Alph, into a role with a similar function to Professor Willow from Pokemon Go would be really cool too!

If they really are going to launch the successor without an OLED screen, I'm just not gonna buy it until they release a version that does. The og switch screen just looks so dull in comparison to the OLED and I could never go back, personally.

Yes!! Finally!! It feels like it's been forever since the last one they did, which was at the beginning of Splatoon 2's life!

Another thing to note is that on the day before Fresh Season (28th Feb), Wave 1 of the Expansion Pass will be launching, which will grant access to Inkopolis plaza as a hub and battle lobby.

Why does everybody hate the sequel to Tales of Symphonia? I've played the entirety of it and the writing and story are good, the character dialogue is good and can be funny, the new characters taking the lead are great additions, and I've not played all of the original but in comparison it has an overhaul of many aspects, like vastly improved graphics, spoken dialogue for EVERY cutscene rather than half spoken half written text, and the monsters in the overworlds actually have their own models rather than some weird low-res skull or blob. I really don't understand why it's **** on so much.

PS, Emil's voice is not bad in the slightest. It fits his character so well!
