10/10 easily! No questions asked.

In the beginning i gave it a 8.5/9 was because of the long tutorial. but now that i played this game for about 30hrs i can give this game a easy!!! 10/10. What an amazing game and so much to do. This game really pulled me in. The strategic gameplay, the RPG elements, story telling, character development etc. Love it.

No score yet, job and other stuff keeping me busy. I will say the 4 or 5 hours I've played have been a lot of fun. I guess I'm right before my first characters first arena battle. I dont have a history with the franchise.

Currently still only on chapter 8 of my first Flame Lord route so I can't score it yet.

That said, I think this will end up being my favorite FE game and I've been playing since Awakening. There is a lot of polish in the gameplay and I'm really enjoying the story/world building.

Still quite early in (chapter 6 for Cai) but I'm concerned it's a bit too easy and all the gameplay on the map isn't very fun yet. Its quite easy to overlevel if you want to put your renown up and then the main maps feel too easy as a result. Liking the game but not sure this part of it is good enough for me.

Also I'm not a fan of the combat in dungeons, there isn't much strategy to be had there and I find myself skipping each one and questioning why it's there if you can just skip.

I've been playing the series for a long time so I might just be after something more like a classic FE experience.

I haven't beaten it yet, I do have my issues with it but on the whole it has been a pleasant surprise for something I was expecting little of.

I do prefer the more classic styled Fire Emblem games still for the tighter focus on the actual SRPG gameplay, but compared to 3 Houses I do find the out of battle activities and management to be considerably better and not having 90% of the cast being highschool kids in similar uniforms also helps.

I'd give it a 9/10. It's absolutely phenomenal, but I feel as if the Calendar system from Three Houses was easier to understand and required less planning.

Also, once I complete sidequests, I'm kind of left with a ton of Turns to burn and there isn't a lot in Dagsion where you can burn these away. You can to Auto activities or Rent a room but this feels too passive. I preferred when I was able to spend a day training, doing lessons, quests in the hub or skirmishes.

Also, Bird Time is weird and doesn't even compare to Tea Time. Figuring out how to respond to each character feels like luck when you can't use your words. There's not enough information to make a confident guess.

And I do feel like my recruits so far have been a bit too one note. Guzran is a champ in battle but I know absolutely nothing about this man other than he never loses lol.

Im nearly done Theodora's route. Its been truly excellent so far.

I've had it since launch but I feel I've hardly scratched the surface so I can't give it a score yet. There's just so much to do and keep track of!

I’ve played about 15 hours and it’s an easy 6/10. Too much bloat, not enough fire emblem. Dungeons are awful, supports system is awful, just let me play map to map like a normal fire emblem.

Music is pretty good though

Haven't finished yet, but so far it's the best Fire Emblem on Switch. Somewhere beteen 9.20 and 9.30/10 for now.

9.5 if I could. I would only take the 0.5 off thinking objectively about other players (younger?) maybe finding it a little overwhelming the number of gameplay elements they throw at you. I have ADHD and did have to put the console down a couple of times to get my breath and not become overwhelmed 😂 but if this is my only gripe, it’s surely got to be a GOTY contender☘️

@SuperPaulio Yeah I really don't understand these Exploration Dungeons. They just seem pure content bloat filler with no real purpose.

There is zero challenge, as you can just auto + button skip through all the fights and loot everything and be done.

I’m thirty hours in, but I think I’m going to start completely over. The way I’ve been playing is switching to a new character at the start of the heroic games, and I’m ultimately misremembering the plethora of characters. I think I’m going to start over and focus on one route at a time instead of juggling 4. Aside from that, the game is fantastic — a 9/10, but it could be higher if I can focus on one arc.

Its the first Fire Emblem I have put any sort of time into since Awakening and my God is it overwhelming in the sheer amount of "stuff" it expects you to remember.

I have no actual idea if what I am doing in the downtime is the best choices or not. So much of it feels like you are meant to go in with prior knowledge of the series as a whole and it is very very averse to actually telling you if you've messed up or not. Like I feel like the oncoming inevitability of me just backing away from an overwhelming sense of FOMO. Like playing Persona and not knowing exactly what social link you need to be going for at what time and what answers to get the best boosts and oh God I did not reply to this person they will hate me now and I have to go to a dungeon and oh Christ all my weapons are broken.

10. Its the second Switch 2 game that I would consider a 'must play'

Im struggling with it but im very early on. Only just got to select my character (went with Leda) and have done a couple of battles with her. I cant really give any score as it wouldn't be fair but its not gripped me from the get go like 3 houses did.

I have only managed to put in about five hours. I'm really liking it so far. There's a LOT to do and learn, and I've been playing FE games for a long time.

I'm not sure what to give it as far as a total score yet. I've found the game to be a bit overwhelming, but everything is starting to gel a bit, and I would like to offer my personal score at a later time.

Truth be told though, Awakening is the most recent game to make me not want to put the console down. I also really liked Three Houses, but looking back, Awakening and the Radiant games still stand at the top for me.

Time may change my opinion as I dive deeper in to this game.

@Kraven I purposefully avoided juggling routes for that reason. My ADHD brain forgets to take meds and I leave my phone in very inconvenient places. You think I have the mental capacity to juggle FOUR whole routes and remember every single detail about them and what I was doing? Absolutely NOT Lol.

My curiosity about the other three Lords is eating at me while I play through Cai's route but I think waiting will be worth it.

An 8. My biggest issue is that it's just too big. I'm 30 hours in closing on the end of Cai's path. If they're all that long, I'll be lucky to do two more protagonists, much less see the later parts of the game
