These are some of my favorite games of all time! I wish more of them made it to the West, but I might have to find a way to get my hands on this cartridge so I can try out the new translation!
Nintendo was never going to let someone else mess up Mario. The idea has always sounded strange, but even the concept art leaked before e3 was intriguing and now that we've seen gameplay... I think Ubi and Nintendo have sold a lot of copies.
@moxiematt I know! I've been tempted several times over the past several years, but I keep fearing that the 3DS will just merge with the Switch in the near future. I guess the new 2DS XL should ease my fears. I am also a sucker for 2D Metroid!
I'm not kidding that this game makes me want a 3DS. I've passed on portable since DS, and have only recently dipped my toes back in with the Switch, but this looks like some good fun.
I hope it's announced tonight. I'd rather not waste any of the precious time in tomorrow's presentation on this game. With that said, I'm reserving judgement for now. I've never played a Rabbids game as they haven't really interested me in the past, but the art for this is... interesting at worst, and intriguing at best. I'll be watching closely, but won't trash the game until we've seen more of it and/or something definitive.
@DavyP your messages are cruel beyond anything I've read on here. @SLIGEACH_EIRE is a person and as such is entitled to his opinions. His comments do not support the response that you have provided and I am horrified that you would put this message in our community and mortified that someone has actually liked your post.
I wouldn't mind if some of the features I'm seeing in the gameplay videos make their way into the regular series (2D I'm assuming). The game looks to have a lot more depth than I initially feared. I think people are going to realize that $10 is actually a bargain, rather than too steep a price for a mobile game.
I wouldn't even mind a few auto-run levels in a main game. It's not too far removed from the auto-scrolling levels that prevent Mario from going back in a level.
@KirbyTheVampire I'm not concerned about Nintendo losing their core fanbase, but they need to recover a large portion of their former audience if they want to find success in the next generation and beyond. Watering down their product or showing "casuals" that they can get "Nintendo" experiences without buying Nintendo hardware might hurt their overall numbers.
For years I've heard people say the only reason they buy Nintendo is to play their games... now they won't have to (for some experiences at least).
Since there aren't any other major holiday offerings from Nintendo this is sure to be a hit.
Seems to me that this move might just encourage nintendo's fans to make the "switch" away from consoles to mobile. Here's hoping this isn't a huge misstep.
@Neon_Blues we can't bury our heads in the sand. Nintendo and Sony are both major players in the video game industry and one's actions clearly influence the other's. In this instance we get a nice bit of perspective about Pokémon Go's impact on the mobile market's perception by others.
The SNES, N64, GameCube all lacked backwards compatibility. I would hate if a new system was crippled because of limiting itself to something that has to play old games. If it does, that's a great bonus. If it doesn't, oh well--that's the price of progress.
I'm pretty pumped for RIVE and Hive Jump, both of which should come out soon. Super Meat Boy is a game I've wanted to play with a wiimote for years so I hope they offer that as an option.
I voted for Star Fox Zero over Zelda because I know it will actually be a spring release and Zelda doesn't even have an official title yet.
Also as I'm one of the few people with a Wii U and no 3DS. I can't wait for Steam World Heist and its HD visuals!
We have gherkins in America, they are a small variety of cucumber so they produce very small pickles--which we call gherkins--they are usually served on a relish plate or salad bar.
I love the game on both the iDevices and on WiiWare, personally I feel like the WiiWare controls are a little bit more steady, but the iControls are more apt for quicker up and down movement. Great game all around!

That said, I want to see this mod in Sunshine!

Re: Super Intense Local Multiplayer Title Flat Heroes Is Coming To Switch This Year
Atari 2600 was my introduction to gaming so I'm a fan of the throwback to those graphics with modern gaming updates and enhancements.
I love the minimalistic style and frantic "bite sized" action. A game doesn't need to be flashy graphically to have fun gameplay.
I'm cautiously optimistic about this one, but from the trailers it looks like it could be a whole lot of fun!
Re: Video: See Sonic Forces At Its Best in Official Gameplay Footage
cautiously optimistic
Re: Feature: Some of Our Favourite Legend of Zelda Games
There's something special about Majora's Mask to me. I loved playing as a deku shrub, zora, and goron.

@Mega_Yarn_Poochy @cfgk24 Did you read the article? The amiibo was fan art (as is much of the other stuff in the photo).
