A while ago we shared a rather fun and impressive fan-made Star Fox cartoon opening. That was the work of the Channy & Kimberly channel on YouTube, and the animators have produced a few more cool pieces since.
Their latest creation helps to tap into Nintendo Switch hype, though. Titled as an 'Anime Opening', it riffs on the Transformer cartoon, throws in a remix of a classic Ninja Gaiden NES track, and is generally full of retro cool. The video pays homage to multiple gaming systems before wrapping up with the Switch.

It's rather neat, we reckon, and certainly helps get us in the mood for Nintendo's next system. Let us know what you think of it in the comments.

that is officially awesome.
Exellent! ^_^
That was a pretty fun diversion! Loved transformers and I'm sure I'll love the Switch as well. Never regretted the time spent on the Wii U!
Gasp!

Simple and elegant.

That is actually very cool. Nintendo should hire these guys to do an Ad for Switch that's in this style.
Absolutely incredible! If only it were official, that would be even crazier XD
That was very cute!
This is just perfect!
Iwata's cameo made this brilliant.
Well that was short.
I enjoyed this far more than I should have.
I'd watch this, but then I'll usually watch anything with a catchy kickass tune.

I was always an Autobot guy, does that mean Nintendo have been the bad guys all along??
I love the internet.
Ninja Gaiden's Unbreakable Determination was an interesting choice for the music.
Bring the 80's n 90's back Nintendo .
Joy-Cons vS. X-Bots
Lol that was short, goofy and entertaining. Does this make the Switch and the GC the Combiners of the group?
