I'd be thrilled if mine would do so. I assume "bionic" means modded. I'm hesitant to feed a GC disc for fear of messing up the console.

Will wait for details and the first round of games. While I am hesitant to buy consoles early on, Nintendo is the only developer from which I would. The quality is always reliable. Not crazy about missing Zelda on the Wii U, but there's a good chance I'll wait on that and get the game and system together.

Fun game. I still have my PS3 copy, so I won't get a second. Worth playing for sure if you don't have it yet, though. It's a little silly, but that's okay.

@World @Manjushri Thanks, fellas/fellettes. I kind of suspected such, as that's frequently how it goes. I'll probably stick with the games I have, as I'm not a huge turn-based fan in any event.

Soliciting opinions: How well has Super Mario RPG aged? I'm not a big RPG guy, and I have some of the later iterations - Bowser's Inside Story, Superstar Saga, Paper Mario and PM TTYD, like that. Any reason to get Seven Stars, other than as a history lesson?

I want two things - to be able to play DS games on my Wii U (not going to happen), and a new Nintendo console with a ton of available games. I'll likely get the NX for the exclusives, but it'd be nice to have options.

Oh, and Gamecube games on the VC, THREE, three things! DS games, ton of available games on the NX, Gamecube games on the VC, and some deviled eggs FOUR, four things...!

As many have observed, why does Pachter get type? I don't get it?

I was disinclined to buy an NX, and get BoTW for my Wii U, but now I'm reconsidering. Obviously we'll have to see what the hey the thing will be.

Loved them, though I never had the scratch to get really good at the games. It was the environment, though. And the food - greasy pizza and soda (though we called it pop). Defender, Donkey Kong, Galaga, Tempest...it was a social experience, on a level that online multiplayer can never be.

Not to be all "get off my lawn" or anything.

I'm still on the fence with Dolphin, though. Downloading stuff like that always makes me itch. And finding a reliable source for games seems like a pretty big chance. But then, I don't know a whole ton about it yet.

Had the disc, and couldn't stand the constant "Backslash! Backslash! We got 'em good!" Everyone raves about it, so I might give it another shot. For 20 bucks, be kind of stupid not to.

I'm not real familiar with these, even though I got the Star Wars set last year. If you buy the bundle, can you add the new titles when they come out later?

I'd love a sequel too, and it doesn't have to be better than Okami. They keep making Zelda games after Ocarina of Time.

I'm pretty much planning on skipping the PS4, and Microsoft gives me a rash. I have my Wii U and a few hundred games in my backlog of now-retro consoles, plus a burgeoning PC habit, so there's not a lot of incentive for me to grab the NX, certainly not at launch. And when I get Zelda for Wii U, I'll be set for a while. Maybe when the NX is a few years old, I'll look into it.

What I'd really like is a way to play DS games on the Wii U, like the Gamecube/Gameboy Advance converter thingy. That was pretty cool - still have it, actually. Oh, and Okami on the Wii U. And a pony.

Don't want voice acting. Zelda games are excellent at creating atmosphere. Voice acting will diminish that.

Physical only. Lost memory and corrupted files (Braid on my 360 will never save my progress) are specters that keep me away from downloads. And I don't find it terribly inconvenient to take a disc out of a case and load it into the system.

Is NES Remix worth the time? Also thinking of trying an Animal Crossing game. City Folk a good place to start, or should I hold out for New Leaf?

Although, seeing Falbi in HD will be worth the price in itself.

Still vacillating. The light bloom and sharper textures tell against the game's atmosphere. But I've whined to that effect before.

Still on the fence. I love the 'Cube visuals and atmosphere. I'm thinking the remaster will lose a lot of the sad feeling that permeates the original and gives it its identity, and the light is too saturated. I'm sure I'll still get it and forget about the comparisons when I'm into it.

GC version looks the best. Better color saturation, higher contrast, and an atmosphere that suits the game's theme. I'm a little surprised that they washed out the colors so much and intensified the light in the remaster. But I have transferred all my Wii data to the Wii U, and pulling out the Wii or 'Cube would be kind of a pain.

I'll probably get it, and keep my Gamecube version. I'm such a sucker.
