Music: Relax and Enjoy a Twilight Princess Orchestral Medley

This year is the 30th Anniversary year of The Legend of Zelda, and so far we've had Twilight Princess HD on the Wii U to get into the spirit. Though the next full entry in the series isn't coming until 2017, we can expect fans to step up and produce some top-notch tributes.

One example is from RebeccaETripp, who focuses a lot of her efforts on orchestral arrangements. Her most recent effort related to Nintendo is a 30 minute+ orchestral medley of music from Twilight Princess, covering all of the key themes from the game. You can check it out below.

Makes me frustrated that they didn't reorchestrate Twilight Princess HD's soundtrack. Nintendo should really learn how to do proper remakes.

Yes they cheaped out on TP: HD because it was only meant to be a plaster and a quick stopgap on Wii U's scant release schedule. The game deserved a lot better treatment and now that it's been done it'll be a long time before it gets a proper remaster if ever.

Feck it anyway, just listening to a few seconds of that medley makes me mad at the missed opportunity. Now where have I heard that before?

As a bonus to the lovely soundtrack the art is pretty darn nice too! I personally don't mind the Wii U remaster not getting a remastered soundtrack because I already love it, but I won't argue that an orchestration of it would have been marvelous. No sense crying over spilt milk though because this is probably the only re-release we will be getting.

A group called "Hylian Ensemble" on YouTube has some nice Zelda mixes. Their version of Gerudo Valley theme is awesome and is heavy on the Spanish guitar, which I love.
