And I haven't seen any diff yet. I'm glad they are still supporting the game on Wii U, but haven't played in too long to be able to tell.

@abe_hikura I loved the way Enslaved: Odyssey to the West handled that setting as well. The world wasn't all grey and blechy, but green and thriving, as if it was glad to be (mostly) rid of humans.

Just bought a copy (for the PS4...shhhh), so I'm glad the update is coming out shortly. I believe I'll enjoy the game, negative criticism be flogged.

Marriage of the new with some of the old. Love the exploration, would like a bit more reward balance, and maybe a little more fleshed out dungeons - though the divine beasts were pretty cool.

That's picking a serious nit, however, as BotW is a great game.

I really "enjoyed" BotW. It gave me the "pleasure", after some initial "hesitation". I'd still like to see some more the "dungeons" in future, and Ganon was a bit of a force with no the "agency", but it was a b@llsy "move" by Nintendo. And I'm interested in how the next 2D version plays out.

It wouldn't "surprise" me at all if they were working on another title right now.

I like BoTW, but miss the dungeons. Keep the freedom, mix in some dungeons, and have the weapons last a bit longer. The occasional special item would be fun as well. But everybody said that already.

Makes me want to go out and buy something of theirs.

@r1chard Same here. Going to start my playthrough tonight. I'm perfectly happy with the Zelda art style and atmosphere they create in their titles. That Switch purchase may wait a long time now.

I suspect that, if I eventually get one, I'll be inclined to use the Joy-Cons unattached. I always liked that about the Wii - you can move your arms and not have them locked in front of you.

Not thrilled by the launch lineup. I hope it does well, but I don't see myself buying one until it has a stronger game selection. Still vacillating because of Zelda, though. At least Nintendo doesn't have the hardware launch issues that the other guys seem to have (still bitter about my Red Ring of Death, MS).

Zelda is the only game I'll buy at launch now. Just have to decide which one.

"Hold on, exciting announcements are coming" only plays for so long.

Nintendo is losing me over time. They handle their business model and customer relations and communication terribly. It almost seems as if they're spitballing. Lord help us, they're reminding me of Microsoft.

They make the best first-party games, and never buggy. But they need to wake up. I've used the word before, but I can't believe how tonedeaf they are.

@ULTRA-64 You and me both, Ult. It'll likely be Zelda for the U and a decent wait for the Switch. I'll no doubt buy one eventually, but they need a mess of good games first.

Been a fan for decades, but the Big N has become pretty tonedeaf and intransigent.

Pay for the game. Pay for Internet access. And pay the company to play the game online. Nopers. I get that it has to be supported somehow, but that's not my bag. And if I'm not mistaken, Microsoft's free game service, while certainly not something they have to offer, is contingent on maintaining the paid service. Too many hoops for me.

That, and teenage boys hurling racist and sexist epithets. No thanks. Hopefully, Nintendo gamers will stay above that, but I guess I'm not going to find out.

Looks like single player or local coop. At least complete strangers won't see how lousy a gamer I am.

It's not just games that sell consoles. Nintendo clobbered Sony and MS in terms of first party games, and look how that played out.

I choose gameplay and art direction over graphics every time (even though they're a nice bonus), but numbers tell me I'm solidly in the minority.
