Slowly and surely the Nintendo Switch is attracting some talented new names to the eShop, and we're certainly intrigued by the debut release of one-man studio One Man on Mars - Roman Fuhrer has confirmed that his title Leif's Adventure: Netherworld Hero will make its debut on the Nintendo Switch.
You can see a trailer below and some of the developer's own words to get a taste for what it's all about.
One Man on Mars is very happy and proud to finally reveal its debut game Leif's Adventure: Netherworld Hero. As a gamer, creating a game for a Nintendo Console was always my dream. As a one-man indie developer, I made it come true!

Leif's Adventure: Netherworld Hero is a story-driven action platformer with an asymmetrical two character system. The player guides our hero Leif and his supernatural sidekick through 7 lushly illustrated worlds.
Get ready for challenging fights, mind-bending puzzles, and demanding platforming sections. Leif's Adventure combines old-school 2D action with modern design sensibilities, creating an epic sense of exploration and fun in its vast, branching levels. With countless secrets to explore and a myriad of interchangeable weapons to equip, this game will be the journey of a Leif time!
This seems to have some interesting ideas, and will also support local co-op for two players in addition to support for HD Rumble.
There's no firm release window as yet but it's certainly one to watch.

Wishing them the best!
That is my dream as well. I don’t think it’ll ever happen, though. Anyone want to make a game with me? Lol... I have a degree in graphic design / illustration.
Best of luck to the dev. The game looks decent and I’d support it at a decent price.
Nice tunes.
I don't know what to think of this. Will wait for reviews as always.
Sadly I’ve never gotten into RPGs. They just seem so repetitive to me.
@justin233 I'd love to develop a game. I'm also working on a degree in graphic design and would like to get a certificate/degree in game design, I'm not good at illustration though. I do have some interesting story ideas.
This game looks boring and the art is bland. No creativity in this concept at all. As a game dev myself I can say that the quality of indie games is overall very low. My dream is also to release a game on a Nintendo console and if games like this are being approved then I have no doubt in my mind that our game will be on the Switch. It's only a matter of time..
Good god... If not for Nintendo the switch would be in big trouble.
@PlanetaryNebulae I’ve got some free time. Let’s go for it. Haha
You guys are rough...lol. I watched the trailer and thought: "I really like the art style, and it looks like fun."
If it's priced right I'd buy it for sure. Maybe at or under 14.99 USD.
I don't know what to think... I kind of like the art style, but I really dislike the characters animations...
"Roman Fuhrer"? Best part of it all.
This could potentially be really good. Makes me think of a game like Child of Light done as an Action RPG.
The art style kind of reminds me of one of those wacky cut scenes from an animated movie that tells a backstory or something. If the gameplay is good and tight, I'd try out a demo at least.
@UtopiaXD as a game dev yourself I'm surprised at your harsh words towards a fellow game devs debut, bit uncalled for.
Mmmh, local co-op action-adventure, that's a good point for me !
Looks interesting, it's added to the wish list pile
This looks pretty good. I've always wanted to make a game and release it on a Nintendo console too. I even have concepts and designs for one as well as a degree with honours in creative technologies.
Like what I see.
@GeorgAnatoly I`d definitely get it for 15 Dollars. It looks fun and it`s always nice to support Nintendo fans..
Looks okay, but the animation is stiff.
Beautiful game actually. Platforming is fun and animation reminds me of Stick Fight. I'm enjoying this game.
Quick thought: I would quite like to have the option to control the ZL fairy with the right stick.
I'm going to spread the word about this game. It's so good. It's really got something special.
