The season of giving is almost upon us, and it seems the Nintendo UK Official Store is getting into the spirit. It's launched a winner-takes-all competition with a lot of goodies in the prize, and it's free to enter for UK residents up to 27th November.
As long as you're a UK resident (13 years old and over, guardian consent needed if you're under 18) all you need to do to enter is put in your email address; you don't need to register on the store or buy anything. Head to this page if you want to try your luck - the winner gets everything in the image below.
Good luck!

Meanwhile in the US.
I do love the folks over at Nintendo UK... great job! Keep it going.
I wonder what my odds of winning will be when the closing date comes around, lol
Awesome giveaway though
Nintendo UK ignoring Ireland again. Thanks and Bah Humbug!
Well, you need to be in it to win it, even if the chances are slim to none.
I never win 😢
Good luck everyone.
actually Nintendo in North America is having a contest too. https://happyholidays.nintendo.com/holiday-sweepstakes/
@Pokefanmum82 dang I love that Spla2n set!
i want that Pokemon set....I already have a Switch but I'd take either of the 2DS sets...I need a new Nintendo system for my daughter and it would help us out.
Someone needs a quick geography lesson
1 in a bajillion chance of winning
Good luck to everyone!
...I really want to win though
@DarkmarkUnited I never said that we are. But Nintendo UK are supposed to cover Ireland.
They pick and choose when we're allowed enter. If it's a competition that doesn't cost them any money like entrance to a Nintendo show then it's fine but if they have to send us something then no dice.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Ireland isn’t part of the UK.or is Nintendo UK also tasked with Ireland despite their name not stating it?
I've entered. Better than a kick in the teeth.

Let Mario do the jumping around to conclusions, friend

The US has four prize packs, while each is smaller than the UK one, there are more winners.
Entered, good luck to anyone here who has entered.
Wow, I can’t remember the last time I saw a massive corporation use the word “Christmas” in an official context, as opposed to the vague “holiday/holidays” which everyone knows clearly refers to Christmas. Is that because “holiday” is used differently in the UK than it is in the US?
@BAN In the UK, it's always 'Christmas', occassionally 'festive'. 'Holiday' is typically only used when talking about the Summer holidays. (Summer vacation for the USA)
@GC-161 Our prizes suck, though. lol
Meanwhile in Italy, Nintendo did a photo contest with the snapshot mode of Odyssey. Winner gets Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a Cappy hat...
This needs to happen in the U.S.!!
@BeanoMaster I knew “holiday” was more or less used for what we’d call “vacation” in the US, but I’d never actually thought about the terms used for what we’d call “holidays”. I just find it interesting that in the US, where we have significantly more active christians (83% of the population, vs ~60% in the UK), companies are so afraid of offending anyone that they refuse to use the actual name of the holiday that everyone knows almost all of us are celebrating and that companies are clearly referring to in their marketing.
The Australian equivalent will include a prize of: nothing!
I can just imagine the board meeting at Nintendo UK now, all the serious suits sat around a large oak table, publicity and marketing discussing impact, promotion and reach.
"Should we include Ireland in the competition?"
"SLIGEACH_EIRE lives in Ireland."
..
..
..
"OK, we don't include Ireland, he might win it."
To be fair, Ireland has only recently started using post codes.
@Pokefanmum82 Thanks.
Darn, I don't live in the UK.

Enjoy
@Mii_duck
If he won he'd just sell the Switch because that copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe would send his port trigger into overload.
Entered.
Nintendo just farmed all my email addresses, and I'm fine with that.
@King_Johobo You've already won. You have summer!
Ah, a means to win a Switch! Oh, its UK only! Aaaahhh man!!
This is awesome, I’ll enter, but I’ve never won anything in my life haha.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Just outta curiosity, are you a fan of Daiori Farrell? I've been enjoying his music alot lately and was curious if he is a household name in Ireland or more of a Trad niche.
@Prof_Yoshtonics I've never heard of him.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Huh. Well that answers that. Lol He does a rendition of Creggan White Hare that's really nice. I first heard of him from a Ytube vid where he and a couple other fellas started up a trad session in the Galway Airport, I believe, after a flight was delayed and the passengers in waiting were not too happy. They cheered everyone up quite quickly by playing Galway Girl.
I’ve entered. I’ll give my brother’s address in UK if I win
@datamonkey that’s true, can’t complain with summer and the beach! Until it gets to 45C!
@King_Johobo
