Who in their sick mind would request Plumbers Don't Wear Tie? So now Limited Run Games is making physical copies of shovelware as well? Why not make physical copies of actual good games like Fast RMX, Star Ocean: First Departure R, Shaolin vs. Wutang, Cuphead, Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection, etc. Why Plumbers Don't Wear Tie? That game was so bad I thought the AVGN made that game up until I actually found one in the wild, then bought it, destroy it so that nobody will get to suffer from its terrible presentation.

Plumbers Don't Wear Ties is baffling. I always thought of it to be the kind of game for only hardcore collectors to show off on Youtube but was anybody asking for a reprint?

Oh joy, so I know these games probably won't get easy to obtain releases in Europe then.

Edit: Although if The Takeover and Haven include the soundtracks, I'll probably just bite the import bullet.

@Ghost_of_Hasashi I’ve also played Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties. It’s the worst thing I’ve ever played hands down. And I’ve played Link: The Faces of Evil.

I think with Plumbers Don't Wear Ties, Limited Run is trying to tap into that same novelty/controversy/memetic area that they did when they released Night Trap. There are lots of gamers out there that will scoop it up for the sheer irony of it all, and a non-zero chance of it selling for $500 on eBay in a few years. (Unless everyone buys it hoping that's what happens, in which case it won't be worth squat.)

I wonder if the new sales of Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties will surpass the original sales figures. It was a terrible game on 3DO so I’m pretty sure it will.

They really should have put these thumbnails in after the trailers in the presentation. Most of the trailers they used were the original launch trailers with release info at the end that didn’t match up with what they were saying.

I might get Retro Brawler Bundle, and I'll probably download Plumbers Don't Wear Ties for no reason other than the laughs; I'm genuinely surprised this is being brought back and released on consoles. I could list games that are more deserving, but I'm not petty, certainly not enough to triple this webpage's current length.

But yeah, this would be sheer novelty of a purchase. Can't see why LRG keeps doing these as opposed to, y'know, visiting the obscure classics like Ty the Tasmanian Tiger.

Hell, they have some pull to port games for Wayforward, they can likely do the same with whoever has Vexx, or Zigguraut with the remaining Blood Rayne games.

@The_Top_Loader Yeah and if you don't pay him, he'll make it so that a (air quotes) "virus" spreads and everyone has to mask their face, stay inside, have a curfew, storm stores for toilet paper "shortages", sanitise their hands against bacteria unti their skin cracks, and happily form lines for dangerous "vaccines" and call the cops on their neighbours when they have visitors for whatever reason because all of that has been "proven" to stop a "virus".

I was actually a bit disappointed with this one, and that's perfectly fine cuz it'll save me a while lot of money. Only Skatebird for me. Glad other people seemed to dig it.

I'm sorry to say this, but the way the headlines for these articles have been written is a little confusing. This article and the Wholesome Direct games article have said "Every Physical Game From _________ Show Coming To Nintendo Switch" which in headline language to me, reads as "every single game that was shown on this show is coming to Switch."

When I watched Wholesome Direct, I was excited thinking "oh my god ALL these games are coming to Switch?"

Just a heads up, I can't be the only one. I was even fooled twice by this article's headline.

I wish I could buy these games in y'know, shops...
