This was a monumentally awful presentation for WiiU owners.

Nintendo needs to spend less time patting themselves on the back and indulging their own whims and actually "Listen" to their fans.

Watching the Treehouse guys play this and it looks so slow and dull... And the graphics look awful... Oh dear...

Awesome DLC at an unbelievable price when you consider what Nintendo charges for its 8 and 16bit virtual console downloads!

I think the tracks in this pack just shade it over the last ones, both are great though.

I wasn't too fussed on Cheese Land straight away, but after some time hitting it on time trial mode I've come to really like it.

So... What next Nintendo? Don't stop now!

Wave Race Blue Storm, 1080 Avalanche and of course F ZERO!!!!!

I've enjoyed a few games on PS4 so far, Resogun, Wolfenstein, Last of Us etc... But nothing comes close to MarioKart 8! For me it's the best game of the generation so far and I can't see anything beating it. I've got everything crossed for DLC packs 3 and 4 being announced at E3!

Or how cool might a track based on the original Donkey Kong be? Racing around on multi level red steel girders with rolling barrels, pools of oil and fireballs as hazards?

I'll eat up as much MK8 as Nintendo throw at me!!

I'd like to see a haunted track full of boo's like the original ones, suspended over a dark chasm... A chocolate track... A new version of Sunset Wilds, Waluigi Pinball, Firefield from F-Zero, a Pikmin track, and how cool might a Duck Hunt track be!? ... There's so much to draw from, I hope they keep it going!

PR doesn't necessarily cover advertising. John Lewis Christmas TV ads etc are done by an Ad Agency.

I think these guys handle stuff like branded consumer events and deal with Media relations etc...

I always liked Waluigi Pinball, but I'm sure whatever tracks are included I will be happy!

The previous cups had TriForce and Egg icons and had Zelda and Yoshi tracks. The next ones have a Leaf icon for Animal Crossing and a BELL icon for Mario 3d World track perhaps?

NINTENDO, just make an Wii U HD F-Zero for crying out loud!!

As much as it has my interest and I will no doubt pick it up, It's just one game and I don't expect much to be going on online after a month or two.

Then what are you left with in the years that follow? The single player modes.

I hope they are good enough and big enough, and not just an after thought tacked on to an online game.

I wasn't too impressed with this direct until seeing the MarioKart stuff.

Barring that and Mario Maker there isn't much at all for me now on Wii U.

To my mind Nintendo have to keep supporting the WiiU, they have to provide their customers with a reason to believe any future project is worth investing in.

I bought a WiiU soon after it released but maybe won't be so quick to get on board with NX.

So, when's the next racing game coming out on WiiU? Errr... Regardless what they are up to with Zelda they aren't doing a good enough job of supporting the console with a constant flow of games.

Maybe they will change that tomorrow?

X doesn't have the same mass market appeal to be considered as big a release as a Zalda title.

Splatoon just might have, but we will have to wait and see. It looks like a cartoon version of Outrigger on the Dreamcast to me (which I liked).

Fans may be ok with it but It's not really what the Wii U needs right now. There simply aren't enough games.

They don't have time to mess about like this and even if it means a raft of quick HD re-makes ( F-Zero / Wave Race please and PilotWings64 HD! ) Nintendo should be pumping games out much quicker.

Sadly I can see this turning out to be the Wii U's last game as Nintendo re-directs its efforts toward the next console, which even less people will buy having been burned over and over by Nintendo.

My problem with RR is that the PSP version from a couple of years back totally kills it!! That version is miles better and a hell of a lot more fun to play. RR on 3DS doesn't feel right somehow, there's something missing from the playability and it has v poor graphics.

If you haven't played this elsewhere perhaps you will be ok with it?? I don't understand Namcos inability to deliver a decent version of this game on a Nintendo console!!

I purchased a 3DS with SF, Pilot Wings and RR at launch I really wish I hadn't.

IMO price is a big issue with 3DS games in the UK... Steel Diver simply isn't worth the £29.99 ($49 US) to £39.99 ($65 US) asking price.

The same goes for much of the other tat that is stinking up the 3DS shelves at the moment, people aren't as stupid as Nintendo obviously hoped!

Getting so annoyed with 3DS... Pilotwings and Streetfighter until June 17?!?!!? I'm tired of them already.... I'm only impatient because Nintendo promised the system was going to be supported with good games, released evenly throughout the launch window! April = Puzzle Bobble.. ???? CRAP!!

How about a new 3DS Zelda, where the entire game takes place on Wuhu?? or the next Mario... no, AND the next Mario... in fact why bother making any new environments at all??

... I'm on about MK Wii btw... DS version much better, but still too easy!!

Time Trials are really where its at in Mario Kart though, as they never seem to put a hard enough difficulty option in GP mode. By that I mean a fair one, that isn't random, where the other drivers actually put up some kind of challenge time/racing wise...

I've been wondering why there has not been an official announcement on what the US launch games are too... there's a dark voice in the back of my head telling me the US is getting something good like RE Mercs or Zelda and Nintendo know it'll wind us Euro's up, so they're keeping it quiet!!!

Most games hold your hand through the learning curve anyway, so manuals are kinda irrelevant imo...

I wish I hadn't bought this tbh.. a real let down.. the whole package is shoddy.. esp the book (leaflet) and CD.. terrible waste of money!!

@mariofanatic128 I agree Mario64 DS was great!! You have to admit there wasn't quite the same wow factor as when it was first unleashed on the N64.. But great all the same... Some of the mini games were excellent!!

Even the original Game Boy had a killer app at launch.. Tetris..

It seems like most people (me included) will be scrambling to get the same 3 or 4 titles... But there is no killer game is there?

So Nintendo dont want to blow away the 3rd parties straight out of the gate.. Understandable, if you think about it Nintendogs and Pilot Wings
are perhaps the weaker of the 1st party games (in sales terms) so going by their logic I suppose it makes sense.

But for this strategy to work the 3rd party titles have to be more appealing, I'm not going to buy games I don't want, especially at the price point they are at, are you?? I'll leave the ones I don't want on the shelf and wait, does Nintendo think consumers are fools!?

I think these comments speak pretty loudly on Clancy... no one here is mentioning them and it doesn't look like anyone here is planning to purchase either of them... except SilverBlacktail that is!

As for PilotWings, I will prob be forced to get this but from what we have seen so far it looks more like a tech demo!! For the £30 - 40 price tag there has to be more to it than just Wuhu Island.. (again) PilotWings 64 had a huge and wonderful map to explore!!

I didn't expect ALL the games to arrive straight away! ONE proper game would be nice though!!

Street Fighter will be on my shopping list too, but again its an old game with some tat I don't really want or need bolted on. Tokyo may be full of people walking around with their 3DS on stand by but the rest of the planet is very different!

As for Nintendogs.. mixed feelings.. I got the last one, it made me smile for 5mins then it was traded.. besides how many 6 year old girls will be getting a 3DS at launch?? I could use the same argument about the Shaun The Sheep 3D Videos..

AND who the hell would buy Asphalt over Ridge?? either Clancy over either RE?? or Dreamcast platformer Rayman2.. AGAIN!!

Maybe Nintendo are trying to give the Pre-owned market a boost at the start of the consoles life??

Looks like a lesson in how to mess up a console launch to me... I hope Nintendo read the negative consumer feedback on this...

Supporting 3rd parties is fine just as long as what they offer isn't complete crap that no one seems to want. I'm not gonna suddenly start buying tat like Asphalt or Tom F?&@£$G Clancy just to please Nintendo and by the looks of it I'm far from on my own!!

Decent games need to follow VERY quickly!
