I noticed something funny about the picture of Nintendo JPN:s web store. It tells you the price in "circle". My guess is it is automatically translated. The Japanese word "en" means both "circle" and "yen". That's probably why.

I have "Mario kicking Hammerbro" right here on my desk beside me. It's as epic in real life as in the picture. I'm planning to use it as support for my games.

@AndyC_MK84 I see what you mean (I don't own any games I don't play either) but I think you have to respect the collectors. Technically, they can enjoy their sealed videogames in the same way you enjoy your sealed amiibos. Or, they may see it as an investment.

If that's what he wants to do, he's in his full right to do so. People collect lots of different stuff just for the sake of collecting. This is just his version of collecting stamps or something

That said, personally, I wouldn't buy games and not play them.

@Ewaldus I recently 100%:ed Paper Mario OK. Kind of disappointed by the "secret ending" but it was still worth it. How far have you gotten?

I'll probably play some Super Mario 3D All Stars (Super Mario Sunshine), get that 5th star on my save file in New Super Luigi U, some Link Between Worlds and possibly Super Mario Maker 2.

I'm at lvl 60-something, but I'll probably be faster now that I'm properly motivated.

I seriously thought Steve was just gonna be a meme, not that he'd actually end up as a playable fighter. I thought that maybe he would get a Mii costume or something, like Sans (the other meme). But I actually think this was a good pick. I understand that people might not like it, but I think it's hilarious. He will definitely be banned from competitive, but if you're just having fun with family/friends, it's gonna be great I think. Kind of weird that you can place blocks on the stage and change the layout, but it's not like they could have added Steve without him being able to place blocks. Again, great for messing around, will be hated by competitive.

Well... I haven't been able to play online for months. My NAT-type is all messed up. As it turns out, I had to change my internet provider. May 20th the change will go through and I will finally be able to use my Nintendo Switch online membership. Looking forward to it. Hopefully there will be more chances to have people visit my island.
