@Ajent Exactly. My Switch is getting a bit more play because of 3D World, and I'll probably spend some time on Animal Crossing again once the Mario items come out but, other than that, it gathers dust.
They're selling, but they are running at a bigger technological disadvantage than ever, and the gap between AAA titles and what Nintendo can realistically put on there grows greater. At this point, my Switch is a Nintendo first-party machine, and about everything else will get played on the PS5. They need an upgrade now.
Nintendo needs to get their head out their butt and realize the Switch is not a system at the middle of its life cycle - it’s at the end. The upgrade needs to be here this year. Portability isn’t going to stop people from moving on to the PS5 and Xbox.
This looks great and should be the minimum of what we should expect from Nintendo.
When looking at both the large gap between it performance and its competitors, as well as the dearth of quality new games, this doesn’t feel like a system at the midpoint of its lifespan.
Would love to see some performance comparisons to the PS5 version, as a not-graphically intense game like this may be something for which I’d choose portability.
The Switch is looking every bit the part of a system at the end of its lifespan. I scroll through the E-Shop and deals about once a week - very little interests me. My son still enjoys it, and 3D World is coming out, at least.
There’s, incredibly, some frame rate stuff with FB2 which I hope gets addressed here, because it can really nerf your timing and score for a few seconds.
@Desrever 2 has some bells and whistles, but also some frame rate stuff which can temporarily sink your score. This “no mercy” mode is very much needed.
I was using FB for cardio and RF for conditioning, but bored of RF quicker. I also just bought a spin bike, so FB2’s days may even be numbered.
I own Ring Fit, but the Fitness Boxing series is what keeps me coming back.
One issue I notice with FB2, for those who haven't purchased it yet, is that there appear to be some lag issues with registering punches when things get too hectic, which leads to some false OK and Missed counts. I plan on contacting them, as I can't imagine FB2 patch requests are big out there. Still, though, I don't think there's much better out there. A 40 minute FB workout is some good home cardio.
Yup. Old enough not to have time. I want to experience as much of the game as I can. I can still do that playing in easier modes. Been there, done that with spending days on a certain part of a level.
I am thankful for having a PS5 and never having to worry about an inferior Switch port again. My Switch is officially a Nintendo and indie game machine now.
Since people are actually mentioning other systems, I’m simultaneously working through Miles Morales, Sackboy, and getting to know Persona 5 for the first time.
I mean, are the workouts different? Any new moves? This is what I care about here. I’m a regular player of the first one, far more than Ring Fit, still.
I’m hoping for better detection on steps, as well as some new level and customization options. Kicks would be great, but I can’t imagine we’re getting that.
I play the first one 3-4 time a week still, while Ring Fit continues to gather dust.
It actually makes zero sense to me that, if there’s a way to better port an intense title like this to the Switch, that it’s not a good thing. So it’ll never be “yours.” Why does that really matter once you’re done with it? This isn’t Mario Kart here.
It feels like a great workaround for those who want to play AAA titles on the Switch. I was impressed by my couple of hours trying it out. Kudos, and a strong way to breather some extra life into the Switch.
These commenters are hilarious. What a strange bunch. Looks and controls great thus far, in graphic intense mode. Much better than Witcher 3, which was borderline unplayable. Don't have to play it if you don't like how it's delivered to you.
Much like AC should allow you to build multiple islands, this desperately should allow split-screen multiplayer. A lot of potential overrun by greed here.
They need to stop porting these games to the Switch. The Switch is in its own lane. They should stick to it. If I want to play a more powerful game, I will play it on a more powerful system.
Fitness Boxing is my go to far more than Ring Fit, simply because it really is a good cardio workout once you get to 30+ minutes on it. Looking forward to the sequel.
With Ring Fit, I utilize custom mode a lot and develop drills that take me about 10+ minutes each. It does make me miss actually lifting things, though.
Got two Marios. Having a really hard time getting a Luigi. Hopefully that will come through before the holidays. The price stuff is silly. If you can't afford it, you can't afford it. Such is life.
I’ve played the TL2 demo, and it doesn’t have the same feel as Diablo. I’d rather stick to the improved Minecraft Dungeons than take a shot here, probably.

I can't wait to play it, but a 10 for a game that isn't graphically intensive, but has noticeable stutters? Come on now.
Re: Review: Persona 5 Strikers - Much More Than Your Average Musou Spin-Off
All these “why didn’t I get to play this game on this system” questions would be solved by just buying the other system.

Already started working out with Fitness Boxing 2. Other than that, it’s Animal Crossing, my son playing Mario Maker 2, and a whole lot of PS5.

Re: Review: Immortals Fenyx Rising - An Off-Brand Breath Of The Wild That's Still Worth A Look
The PS5 version received a 7 on both Push Square and Gamespot, so I’m not quite sure what the complaints are here.
Also, being that the PS5 version received props for its graphics, while this version gets called bland, shouldn’t the score here be lower?
It I choose to play this, it’ll be on the PS5. I’m done with lesser ports on the Switch.
Re: Feature: What's The Best Way To Play Super Mario Bros. In 2020?
Switch Online, because my son can think he beat it with the rewind option.
