I relly hope they are optimizing this game for switch with a patch. It seems to run between 15-25 fps and that is brutal.

@memoryman3 think the better question is why does any game support any amiibo? All it is, is locked game content behind a toy.

I wouldn't pay any more than $50 for this. Even then seems a bit overpriced.

@Billsama Good thing I'm not a reviewer because I'd tear games rear ends apart with this crap. BOTW could be perfect but I'd drop a point just for that.

That list of amiibo items just irritates me to no end, that stuffshould have been in some of the useless 300 chests or quests that instead give you 50 rupees or an opal

Oh heck yeah, i was just about to pull the trigger on this for my xb1. Never played Darksiders but heard great things.

Game is super fun and plays fairly well on my Switch fps is pretty bad though ranging from what seems like 15 fps to the rare 30fps

While I'm happy Disney is allowing for console games again instead of mobile, this game looks like garbage.

@sillygostly i downloaded it yesterday and the size is 7.1gb

@sillygostly 1080p and 720p even though the same textures are larger in file size.

@setezerocinco The switch has sleep mode so loading isnt a problem. Its like 20% faster than the wiiu version.

@sillygostly Texture assets for the game are lower res on the switch. Larger textures = larger size.

@DanElectrode a variation of the tunic is better than 800 ambers we get 100 rupees for finishing a long quest. And while im at it the game is missing a fishing mechanic which is sorely missed.

Love the game, im about 100+ hours in but am starting to get bored with the crappy rewards for quest and garbage treasure chests. Seems they took tons of content out of them and hid it behind amiibo crap.

I guess Rare isnt so bad after all eh haters?

Not too bad, seems like the biggest gripe is the initial load screen but the switch has sleep mode so you can just continue the game with little to no down time. I'm buying this the moment I can on the eshop.

I love my switch but it has quite a few issue that need to be resolved.

@GoldenGamer88 I havent tred to 100% games years, I have a huge backlog of XBox one and Playstation 4 games. Zelda is putting a major road block in my returning to finish games.

You need these to cook get the Ancient Key to ride inside a guardian.

@Dakt They can say whatever they want but it's a tablet (handheld) with a glorified hdmi cable(dock). A console doesn't go with you anywhere. A handheld device does just that and the Switch IS just that.

I thought the Switch version was the PS4 version until I saw the controller icons. That alone is reason enough to go with Switch

@KirbyTheVampire That's not what I'm saying, but most sequels do have SOMETHING changed in it's aesthetics. This game could have just been a Splatoon port from WiiU and no one could tell the difference. Yes it has much more content which is why it's an instant buy for me but sequels do indeed look different, even if it's a slight change.
