@neufel I hope you're right... SInce I pre-ordered the Switch, I feel a bit more sad with each news/article I read... We are going from disapointment to disapointment in terms of communications while the system is not even out yet. This is a very big disapointment on my side... I'm getting sick after already buying Super Mario Bros. at least 4-5 times since the NES. This (and the fact that the prices are too high) kills the digital/downloadable market : why would you buy a digital version of a game if you have to buy it once per system while you can use a retail version in every system ? Stupid and not-ecological IMO...
@jimi + including 1-2 switch in digital form would have cost almost nothing to Nintendo (unless they really think that they are going to sell a lot of them at 50 euros, which I highly doubt)...
Given how the Wii sells were greatly boosted by the fact that Wii sport was included (and I'm not talking about the original NES with Mario Bros.), I really do not understand Nintendo's decision not to include 1-2 switch (or another game) in the bundle... I'm a French who pre-ordered on Amazon and I'm very happy since I saw the price drop yesterday... 299€ seems like the correct price from the beginning over here (but who know, since the initial price of 249.99 on launch day, Amazon.fr has dropped the price to 229.99, then 214.99 and now 299.00... Maybe they will pay us who pre-ordered when they will finally ship the thing lol).
EDIT : but this does not seem to be a good news in terms of expectations here... usually when Amazon does that it means that the number of pre-orders is very low (FYI, they also suppressed the initial limit on the number of pre-orders by customer)...
I don't understand the issue on my side... These cards are collectibles, right ? Having a card representing an old artwork seems to be the perfect collector item... Nobody said it was problematic when Nintendo made a 8-bit Mario Amiibo or when they make games based on old sprites such as Zelda 4 swords ou Mario Maker... Just my opinion though...

[Edit] to clarify (and not only troll) : my new OnePlus 3T costed me 430$ and it has 64Gb of flash memory, a battery life wich permits me to watch movies for over 9 hours in a row (with dash charge to get full battery life in less than an hour) and it got all the modern features you can ask in a celle phone...
@Marshi Ok man, so we completly agree... We are Nintendo fans who are sadly watching Nintendo repeat (even stronger) their past errors... Imagine if they had put less money in HD Vibration dev and more money in good flash memory size, decent battery life and graphical power, if they had advertised the system as a powerful handheld (that can be plugged on a TV) and if they had packaged 1,2, Switch with the console... Sincerly, I believe they could have hit the jackpot... It wasn't that hard IMO.
PS : regarding my own experience with power of handelds, I can watch movies, play games or make music on my iPad for over 8-9 hours with no need to plug in, and I can watch movies/anime on my Android phone (OnePlus 3T) for over 9 hours in a raw...

I admit my opinion on WiiU is different than yours... I still play it everyday as my main gaming system (I'm so much into Tokyo Mirage Session currently.... loving it), but at the same time I still hate the WiiU Gamepad (cheap, not practical, bad screen quality, poor battery...)... My comparison to DC was only about the fact that I really fear that the Switch coul be the last console made by Nintendo... Their choices and marketing seem so awkward... This does even look like the worst error from Nintendo... The system looks cool but it's still expensive and may seem a bit "cheap" to some people (low battery life, ridiculous memory size of 32 Gb, a single AAA title at launch, no charging with the included grip, poor graphics when on a big TV, small controllers... and overpriced additional controllers)... And knowing all that, they still think that they can make people pay 329€ for something they cannot play with right away... You need to pay at least an addition 50€ to play with it... Making it a 380€ system (same price as the PS4 Slim with a game)... I doubt it.
PS : don't be mad at me... I did preorder a system with aditionnal case and Zelda Botw limited edition (500€ order)... And I'm a big Nintendo fan (still playing the Wii U as myh main system today)... @MitchVogel it's very subjective, a question of tastes I guess, I personnaly love Earthbound and the Mother Serie (for me, they are wonderful games with a lot of layers and phylosophy, and the serie is one of the proof that Iwata was a real genius IMO)

I want a lot of NGC Games on Switch VC (I'm 38 and NGC is still my alltime favorite game system) : Eternal Darkness, Killer 7, MGS:TS, F-Zero GX, SSX Tricky, Super Monkey ball 1&2, Viewtiful Joe, Baten Kaitos, Path of Radiance, RE4, Pikmin 1&2, Metroid Prime, Soul Calibur II (with Link ), Beyond Good and Evil, 1080 Snowboarding, ... to name a few
This would be so great... I played the 1st for hours and completed it 2 times but I never got a chance to finish the 2nd and to even play the 3rd... I'm more in love with the Switch every day (even if it's only based on rumors lol).
@Tempestryke what do you mean man... The NES controllers and Mini NES controllers are EXACTLY the same... I tried to spot differences looking at them, putting them on top of each other, using them to play... I'd really be interested to know what differences you found...
I would dream of a TGX16 mini with games such as Bomberman 93, Bonk, Castlevania, Splatter House, Devil's Crush, R-Type, Ys, Lord of Thunder (and why not JJ and Jeff just for fun lol)... But I highly doubt it will ever happen... The NES is known by everyone, even the non-gamers, while TGX16 is known by old video games nerds like me only. And a TGX16 mini would probably never generate the same hype/buzz as the NES mini did...
PS : I don't understand why some haters seem to forget ISS, MGS, Silent Hill, Castlevania, Suikoden, Contra, ZoE,... Konami, as Capcom, Sega, Nintendo,... will always be one of the greatest video games company for me

That seems too low IMO... If this is true and if Nintendo saying they won't loose money when selling the system is also true... Then it means that this will probably be a really low power console... Once again. I'm very sad to read that... I would have been really happy to pay around 500€ for a real new powerful Nintendo console... But well... It's probably not what consumers want...
I'm really happy that the numerous pricy DLCs have kept me from finally buying Smash Bros on WiiU recently... I will be able to buy it with all DLCs on Switch... Sweet !
PS : But in a way, I feel like this kind of decision (re-release WiiU titles on Switch... Making WiiU owners of the games pay a second time) is a bad move from Nintendo toward their real fans i.e. those few who bought the WiiU like me !
What great games have been released by Capcom on XB1 and PS4 ? As far as I know they only released XBLive and PSN titles, most of them being remakes or HD version of old RE games... I don't get it lol

This would be so great... I played the 1st for hours and completed it 2 times but I never got a chance to finish the 2nd and to even play the 3rd... I'm more in love with the Switch every day (even if it's only based on rumors lol).

@Tempestryke what do you mean man... The NES controllers and Mini NES controllers are EXACTLY the same... I tried to spot differences looking at them, putting them on top of each other, using them to play... I'd really be interested to know what differences you found...

I would dream of a TGX16 mini with games such as Bomberman 93, Bonk, Castlevania, Splatter House, Devil's Crush, R-Type, Ys, Lord of Thunder (and why not JJ and Jeff just for fun lol)... But I highly doubt it will ever happen... The NES is known by everyone, even the non-gamers, while TGX16 is known by old video games nerds like me only. And a TGX16 mini would probably never generate the same hype/buzz as the NES mini did...
PS : I don't understand why some haters seem to forget ISS, MGS, Silent Hill, Castlevania, Suikoden, Contra, ZoE,... Konami, as Capcom, Sega, Nintendo,... will always be one of the greatest video games company for me

PS : Even if I understand, I admit that I'm not sure it is a smart move, the port was probably almost ready as it was supposed to be released this week (still confirmed a few weeks ago) and even if not a lot of people own the Wii U, there must be a significant number of Wii U Owners who would have bought this game (like me for example)... And it's the kind of game that you would probably 're-buy' when you get on a new console if you like it for what I understand... Well too bad for us Wii U owners anyway.

Very good list but too many titles from the same serie (e.g. Donkey Kong Country and SMW) and lack games such as Super Bomberman, Terranigma, FFVI (better than II and III IMO), TMNT in time (beatemall needed lol), Super Castlevania II, R-Type III, Shadowrun (too mature probably... but...), Breath of Fire II, Wild Guns, Puzzle Bobble, Parodius (neeeeeeeeed!)...

Yes Nintendo are crazy in terms of stocks and pre-order... Sometimes, it seems like they do not want my money lol...
E.g. for TMS FE Fortissimo edition... I pre-ordered it but got a mail 1 week before release saying that my pre-order had been cancelled due to low stock... Then I could not find it anywhere and did not (and still do not) want to pay 60€ for the standard edition... Therefore, I found other "non paying" ways to play the game... I feel like Nintendo does not want my money... Very strange to me lol !

That seems too low IMO... If this is true and if Nintendo saying they won't loose money when selling the system is also true... Then it means that this will probably be a really low power console... Once again.

I'm really happy that the numerous pricy DLCs have kept me from finally buying Smash Bros on WiiU recently... I will be able to buy it with all DLCs on Switch... Sweet !
PS : But in a way, I feel like this kind of decision (re-release WiiU titles on Switch... Making WiiU owners of the games pay a second time) is a bad move from Nintendo toward their real fans i.e. those few who bought the WiiU like me !
