A Kirby rpg would be a no brainer imo. A job system would fit Kirby copying abilities perfectly.

I need to ask since I never played any call of but aren’t the stories just ww1-2 stories ? Never really heard anyone praising or saying anything about the story in the games to be honest.

You also need to know both Minecraft and Among us started from nothing. Pokémon has 20+ years of games and derived products including anime and movies.

Again, different teams and situations, different expectations.

@Zebetite are you really comparing a game made by a single person and a game from a small indie team to the biggest cross-media and multi-billions franchise cause it’s a bad comparison ?

Let just say there’s a difference between a small indie studio without really budget and the biggest cross media franchise of all time in terms of expectations for graphics. Pokémon should at minimum be up to par with other Nintendo published games on the same console. It isn’t the case.

@Snatcher but like following your logic that would be okay to get news about the Witcher tv show since Witcher 3 is on switch or like get a review of the last Resident evil movie since the games are on switch and Capcom and Nintendo are buddies ?

I really like Nintendo life and just want the articles to stay focus on Nintendo, it’s not a general video games website and that’s why I love it here.

@Snatcher it’s still a bit far fetched from Nintendo or the switch. I understand reviews like game and watch or the Mario legos cause those are Nintendo product but the lego Sonic even if video game themed isn’t Nintendo or directly from the Sonic games on switch.

If there was reviews of the Sonic comics for exemple that also would feel out of place.

Im harsh with Gamefreak but at the end of the day I can’t not understand them. They are just a small indie studio who made the biggest franchise and never expended/ invested in their studio to reach the level of their franchise.

It’s funny to see the bitter people on the comments being mad their games are not on the list. Bashing games they probably haven’t played. I’ll just say it’s vastly over exaggerating saying smt 5 runs badly on switch.

Some people in the comments have no idea how licensing as well as balancing in fighting games work and it shows.

Quality wise SMT 5 is so far ahead I know it’s niche but I wish the sales gap wouldn’t be that huge compare to Pokémon.

A remake is a new experience based on an old game : think Resident evil 1-2-3, Metroid Zero Mission / Samus returns. Yes the scenario/ structure might be similar but it’s a completely different experience.

For the 3d Zelda they are a lot closer to ports and remaster with reworked graphics

While not all rumors are true let’s remember that the 3d Mario collection, the new paper Mario and the Pikmin 3 port rumors from last year all turned true and this year the new warioware and 2D Metroid.

Doesn’t mean prime collection will 100% happen but don’t be too quick to dismiss it folks

The game is fine, maybe a bit too easy and uninspired but still enjoyable. The Wii game had least introduced multiplayer but it became really bland, generic and uninspired with the next games. A shame because back in the day Mario 3 and World are some of the best and most appreciated games of their consoles.

I really hope people won’t buy miitopia at launch cause the message to Nintendo it will only show it’s ok to do barebones ports and sell them at a high price. Wait that’s exactly the Wii U ports we got for years now ...

@VoidofLight Demo on 3ds was alright but the switch version is gonna be 80$ Here in Canada and I feel this should be 20$ max ... like this barely has the same amount of work as a Xenoblade or Mario.

Its probably not a high budget game but something like a F-Zero Gx or a Eternal Darkness remaster wouldn’t cost that much more and would sell and be worth 1000 times more.

People should just accept he’ll never be a fighter. Also as a representation of the Mario rpg’s Paper Mario is 1000x a more logical and interesting choice.

I know someone who worked on the localisation it is coming

It’s kinda sad for the developers. I haven’t played the game myself but seeing friends play and watching reviews it looks like the game was rushed/ unfinished and for future games devs are probably going to have limited time to make new Pokémon games.

The story seems like everything happens offscreen (which is something you do when you don’t have budget)

And the games seems to have real qualities and that just makes it more frustrating cause with more time it might have been a really great game. Now it’s a half-step for the franchise who don’t really evolve and keep making the same game over and over and over

Also everyone should respect others opinions whether your like the game or not
