Re: Behold The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Switch Hardware Bundle

Draxa

@B-Locks I was all about the actual console on the Pokémon one but I wasn’t sold on the dock or the colors of the joycon. On this one I am all for the dock and joycon but it doesn’t have any designs on the back. If it did I’d be all over it, but now I’m kinda just thinking on holding off till another special edition that really grabs me is announced.

Re: Soapbox: Why I Prefer Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate To World

Draxa

@Denoloco if in content you mean strictly monsters mhw is pretty much in line with most other previous entries in the series, accept gen ultimate obviously.

I think what it all comes down to is personal preference on which style of monster hunter you want to play. Do you want to play old school or new school. They’re both monster hunter regardless and the gameplay loop is exactly the same. I personally prefer mhw as I like the updated systems but that’s just me.

Re: Review: Okami HD (Switch eShop)

Draxa

I was stuck between this since I never got to play it before or dead cells and since I haven’t even beaten 20xx yet I think dead cells might have to wait a bit. I want to be so good at rogue style games but admit that I’m pretty bad lol and this just looks beautiful, I’m hype!

Re: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Will Feature A Single-Player Classic Mode

Draxa

@Cobalt it’s not really abnormal for a fighting game to have a single player mode. Pretty much any fighter has a single player mode. Usually in the form of an arcade/ladder mode or actual single player story mode. Examples of this are pretty much any mortal Kombat, soul caliber series as far as I kno, street fighter series and most recently dragonball fighter z has a single player story mode. So I’d say there’s definitely a community that looks forward to a single player mode.

Re: Dragon Ball FighterZ Dev Team Discuss The Accessible Nature Of The Title

Draxa

@Blizzia you shouldn’t be in competitive matches if you can’t pulloff the combos properly, of course the other persons gonna wipe the floor with you. I do agree with the devs when they say they made this a more accessible fighter as it is definitely a lot more accessible then most of the others with the auto combos and easy supers. But like any fighter if you wanna be good you’re gonna have to practice..... a lot.

Re: Game Freak Says Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu And Eevee May Be Forward Compatible

Draxa

@Krisi there isn’t at all, I was just responding to the inaccurate comment you made earlier;

“All of this makes me very worried.
I mean Let's GO Eevee & Pikachu is clearly a spinoff (despite what they say, there were spinoffs in the series before that had much more to do with main series games than this one)”

Other spinoffs can’t have more to do with the main series games since let’s go is a remake of a main series game. That’s all I’m saying.

Re: Game Freak Says Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu And Eevee May Be Forward Compatible

Draxa

@Bolt_Strike btw if you actually read the article without bias all he’s saying is that the 2019 8th gen will be more like the handheld experience has been, which could mean anything, but I’d suggest it would mean that they are bringing back wild battles, and ditching the go catching mechanic and cp levels since that’s apparently making everyone lose their minds. It doesn’t mean that they are going to create the exact same games that are on 3ds.

Re: Game Freak Says Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu And Eevee May Be Forward Compatible

Draxa

@Heavyarms55 I feel like it’s a good thing and a bad thing if they allow pokebank transfers from the 3ds games, the bad things I worry about is all of the hacked Pokémon making their way over. I feel like this would be the perfect time to clean them out but there would be a lot of pissed off people not being able to utilize their pokebanks.

Re: Ubisoft Says Reggie Fils-Aimé Is To Thank For Star Fox's Inclusion In Starlink: Battle For Atlas

Draxa

@Cobalt unfortunately I don’t speak French, but after searching for e3 impressions from 2018 I don’t see any immediate articles in English saying anything about how supposedly awful the game is like you’re trying to say. Also you’ve said in previous posts that you use your own opinions and that your opinions aren’t affected or swayed by the internets etc, yet your first referenced link is a reddit post with nothing but a bunch of randoms personal opinions, soooo thanks, but I’ll just wait to see what the game is actually like when it releases.

Re: Ubisoft Says Reggie Fils-Aimé Is To Thank For Star Fox's Inclusion In Starlink: Battle For Atlas

Draxa

@Cobalt can you please explain how the game runs poorly? I haven’t seen any footage to suggest that nor have I seen any articles stating that, so if you could provide some links that would be great. Also being boring and being ultra generic aren’t apparent, they are “your” opinion. You post similar comments complaining about pretty much every game on every post on this website. I really think you just like the attention, which I unfortunately just contributed to. Reminds me of gatorboy

Re: Video: Digital Foundry Takes A Look At Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy On Switch

Draxa

@sixrings I’m pretty sure you were aware of the switches limitations when you bought it, it’s capabilities aren’t going to magically change after your purchase, complaining about that fact now is pretty silly. Especially when you compare the form factor and size of the switch to a PS4 or Xbox whose base models still can’t hit a full 1080p most of the time, well the Xbox at least I’m not a100% on the PS4, but still, the lack of power regarding the switch and 3rd party games is visually obvious from just looking at the hardware itself. Just saying.
