@MrHonest considering that their online membership is a fraction of the price vs MS and Sony, as a consumer I wasn’t really expecting that much and pay for the service and the expansion pack cause my wife enjoys the retro games. It is what it is, the lack of native online chat is a blessing imo 🤷‍♂️ I’m more concerned about raising gas prices and the cost of poultry then 19.99 a year for base online membership 😂

I’m just waiting for that next Nintendo Direct to backhand my wallet 🤷‍♂️

I’m happy it’s selling well as I think it deserves it! I’ve been enjoying it immensely even though I am the dude who’s wife has to deal with him belting out the og Pokémon theme song with the wackiest dance moves this side of the east coast whenever I’m intoxicated 😂

@SuperZeldaFun I’m about six hours in and haven’t had any delayed spawns as such, just my experience though.

Personally I’m probably in the minority here but I don’t think the graphics are anywhere near as bad as people are making them out to be. I do think playing this docked makes them look worse but I think the aesthetic looks great playing on my oled model in handheld. That being said I’ve played several games that look worse on the switch so I’m not really bothered I’m enjoying it 🤷‍♂️ and to those that say these trees look like N64 or ps1-2 graphics I do think that’s a bit of a stretch 😂

I just don’t understand how they went from the og Trevor Goddard as Kano in the 90’s movie to that idiot they casted in this one. Kano being one of my fav MK characters I was quite disappointed, especially with the lack of metal plate in his face 😂

And yes I know Goddard is deceased RIP my dude, but they still could’ve done a lot better imo

@mr12calvin I think you have a dud my friend mine works perfectly fine. Maybe check your warranty on it out see if you can replace it.

I was skeptical about the oled switch for a while but since I’ve been playing mostly in handheld lately I went and got one when I was lucky to find one and it is awesome!

@fafonio I put 400+ hours into sword and shield spamming ycom chat made my shiny hunting addiction the easiest it’s ever been I’ve got boxes full. I didn’t really have any probs with it even compared to previous entries it’s a standard Pokémon experience and I enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to this release as well.

@BloodNinja right but none of that compares to the revenue that Microsoft brings in developing operating systems/software etc. or the revenue that Sony brings in from appliances, tvs, and licensing from Spider-Man etc. so yes Nintendo just built a theme park which I’m not sure is even open yet and has merch and hasn’t put a movie in cinema yet but are working on the Mario movie which is my point, compared to the other two the primary source of income for Nintendo is it’s gaming profits.

@BloodNinja I mean those numbers are a huge difference but the main thing that separates Nintendo from Sony and Microsoft is that Nintendo is strictly a gaming company which is why it’s value isn’t nearly as high 🤷‍♂️.

@rockodoodle I got one out of pure luck via the GameStop all access restock in the US a couple weeks ago. The website glitched out and it took me an hour to get it to go through, then GameStop sent me two Xbox series x’s and I still can’t view my all access balance as it hasn’t updated. I don’t kno what to do with it 🤷‍♂️

While it would be great to have them all in there I don’t mind this decision. I love Pokemon and keep up to date on them all the time but I’d be lying if I said there wasn’t a good bunch that I haven’t completely forgotten about.

@Fath 😂 that’s great thanks for that. But what I meant was that he could find other employment while still currently employed. I have done it and I’m sure there’s plenty more who have as well. It’s really not a difficult concept.

A game that is known for its extreme violence. Of course they are going to be doing their research on how s**t looks in real life to somewhat correctly transfer it to the game as best they can. My point is that he applied for the job knowing what the product was, stayed at the job even though he obviously couldn’t handle whatever his position was, when he could of just simply said what the hell am I doing and started looking elsewhere went out the door when he got a chance to. There was nothing keeping this guy there, as far as we know he wasn’t contractually obligated to stay, other then his own decision to. I’m pretty sure if he was diagnosed with ptsd while working on the project his doctor would have told him to leave. Would I agree with his ptsd diagnosis, not at all, but that’s my opinion you kno. This article is about a dude claiming ptsd because of violent images and videos. First off the dudes working on Mortal Kombat whose claim to fame is a visual representation of shredding virtual people to shreds. Maybe he should’ve made better life choices. My wife suffers from ptsd from real life trauma. This guy has nightmares from watching violent videos that his coworkers are watching and then gets diagnosed with ptsd. So sorry if it offends you that I call this out as bs. It just is. This is like me watching a damn horror movie, having a nightmare, then saying I have ptsd. It’s absurd and if you can’t see that I don’t kno what to tell you. Keep living in your safe place bud.
