Re: Mortal Kombat 11 Patches Are Imminent, All Players To Receive In-Game Currency

@SetupDisk so how do you know they were unbeatable if you haven’t played it? Oh you read it somewhere on the internet I assume, or you spent some time at a friends house for a bit giving it a “try”. Yup you really know what you’re talking about, let me slow clap for ya. For a game that you obviously have no intention of purchasing as you have point out you really are following the specifics of its launch rather closely aren’t you? Coming from experience the towers aren’t unbeatable but some of them do require that you are skilled. Maybe that’s the difference between you and me, it seems that I’m the one who has spent actual time playing the game. But please continue with your assumptions and ignorance and such. I’ll be around for when you decide to try again.

@Spudtendo ah so you’re a completionist. Well there are plenty other examples of games that take an astronomical amount of time to 100% but this time it’s not ok because you say so and it’s too hard. That’s fine. I get it. Doesn’t change the fact that none of them will actually utilize 90% of the available items in this game even after they unlock them. And to answer your question, no they don’t matter to me along with the other 99.9% of the human population including yourself. I think you’re just enjoying being on your online crusade against mtx which is fine, that bandwagon is breaking at the seams, but I do hope you enjoy yourself none the less.

Re: Mortal Kombat 11 Patches Are Imminent, All Players To Receive In-Game Currency

Everybody saying this game is totally broken couldn’t be more wrong. If you want progress with unlockables it’s in the towers of time. The tower rewards rotate quickly and you can even summon towers for specific character rewards. Yes some of them are difficult but I’m glad it’s not a cake walk it’s Mortal Kombat after all. I wanted some gear for Noob last night so I summoned a tower for him, by the time I was finished a new tower spawned in the rotation for him (lucky me). By the time I was done I had 150k Koins and a crap ton of augments and cosmetics for the character I was hoping for. I don’t understand the complaints. The mtx in this game are bare minimum compared to others. Just play the game. And before somebody comes out with that nonsense it takes 6400 dollars to unlock everything or thousands of hours of game time to unlock everything blah blah, tell me, are you really going to use all that trash? Get outta here 😂.

Re: Soapbox: I Don't 'Get' Smash Bros. And I Just Don't Know Why

Draxa

I did the same thing as the writer to this article lol. I never got into smash. Watched all the directs for this one, got hyped, was like yea I’m gonna get good this time around. Bought it. Played it for about 10 hours with my son and unlocking characters (he doesn’t really like it). Now it just sits on my rack collecting dust 😂. Oh well I tried

Re: NetherRealm Studios Reveals First DLC Character For Mortal Kombat 11

Draxa

@FTL or you just can’t convey your points properly. I’m not reading every post your putting on this thread. Just the initial one I responded to and the subsequent responses to me. I also just thought we were having a discussion on a disagreement of views here but now I’m aggressive and rude. So since we can’t seem to agree we better stop now before I make you cry. Take care!

Re: NetherRealm Studios Reveals First DLC Character For Mortal Kombat 11

@retro_player_22 like I said in my previous comment, to think that any dev/publisher doesn’t have their dlc developed, roadmapped, or planned out at release is naive. Sure they might not be done developing and balancing the dlc characters in smash but I can tell you they definitely had a plan of what characters they were going to save for dlc and a timeline of their release. They aren’t going to sell dlc day one to the masses blind. Also as mentioned in my previous comment mk has a much smaller roster to pull from then smash so of course they are going to start announcing dlc characters early to keep the hype alive. We have yet to see any gameplay of Shang Tsun so I would like to know how you are so sure that this dlc character is fully developed before release? For all we kno they could just have the character models ready.

Re: NetherRealm Studios Reveals First DLC Character For Mortal Kombat 11

Draxa

@FTL so you’re saying that mk11, a game with a full roster, campaign, arcade ladder mode, a krypt full of unlockables and competitive mode is incomplete, therefore it is subjugated to your standards of greedy dlc or am I not understanding what youre saying? For comparisons sake Mortal Kombat doesn’t have a Bajillion properties to pull characters from such as smash for an immediate grand roster so of course they are going to announce dlc characters early to keep hype alive and persuade people to buy the dlc with their initial purchase. I still don’t see the problem here. I don’t know how many mks you have played recently but they are my no means unfinished, NetherRealm studios releases quality content. And if you think me saying butthurt is aggressive I am truly sorry for you. I honestly just felt ridiculous typing it again, but here’s an encore anyways. Butt....hurt

Re: NetherRealm Studios Reveals First DLC Character For Mortal Kombat 11

Draxa

@SonOfVon I’m gonna say a lil bit of both however I put more blame on the devs and publishers. Gaming is no longer a niche hobby and the devs/publishers have taken full advantage of it. I have a hard time faulting the consumer who pays for something to enjoy when that’s the only option their given. Trust me I remember when dlc wasn’t a thing but it’s just the way it works now and unfortunately isn’t gonna change. I just don’t believe in singling out a single publisher to thrash when every single one of them do it ya know?

Re: NetherRealm Studios Reveals First DLC Character For Mortal Kombat 11

Draxa

@FTL @SonOfVon guys to think that any company in the age we live in has not started, finished, or roadmapped their dlc before the game is released is naive at best. Don’t be mad at me for stating facts. I was making a basic observation that hey at least they are showing what you are paying for vs say smash ultimate who literally did the same thing with allowing you to purchase the game and season pass bundle at the same time first day of release. You could even preorder smash that way with the dlc included. Difference is they didn’t tell you squat about who you were paying for. Tell me were you all this butthurt about that? I’m curious.

Re: Video: The State Of Nintendo Switch Two Years After Its Release

Draxa

@KingdomHeartsFan I’m sorry but compared to the other major companies out there I think Nintendo’s personality is just fine and are for the most part pro consumer. They still have the ability to troll/joke with their fan base then give them what they were waiting for. When other gaming companies do the same it still ends in disappointment

Re: Rumour: New Mortal Kombat 11 Characters Possibly Leaked Thanks To Steam Achievement List

Draxa

@shaneoh I can’t tell if you’re trolling, serious or just ignorant to the franchise. This is obviously just a snip of the achievement list. Mk never under delivers on the “K”ontent, especially as far as fighters go. With this iteration we are looking at a badass campaign story, online mp, local mp, arcade ladders/towers, unlockables and Cosmetic Customization. What more were you hoping for?

Re: Review: Dragon: Marked for Death - An Attractive Action Title That's All Burned Out When It Comes To Fresh Ideas

Draxa

@Kalmaro ?. But you’re not paying 14 dollars for two characters. It’s a thirty dollar game not a fifteen dollar game they are making it more affordable for players to choose how they want to purchase it. You can get the game with your two preferred characters for half off or pay the initial full price of 30 they want it to be for everything. Also the physical is 50 not 30 I misquoted that but I’ll be getting the 15 digital anyways.

Re: Review: Dragon: Marked for Death - An Attractive Action Title That's All Burned Out When It Comes To Fresh Ideas

Draxa

People ask for old school harder games, get such games, then complain about such games. What can ya do. I’m personally glad they don’t have combos in this I can’t stand remembering them. I’m still gonna pick this up as This is the lowest review I’ve seen. I think this game is directed towards a specific audience and obviously this reviewer is not one of them.

Re: Review: Dragon: Marked for Death - An Attractive Action Title That's All Burned Out When It Comes To Fresh Ideas

Draxa

@Kalmaro if I looked at it correctly you buy the game and which two characters you want for 14.99 if you like it you can buy the dlc pack which gives you the dlc and I “believe” the other two characters for 9.99 so 24.99 total. If you buy the physical it comes with everything for 30. I don’t think they’re trying to rip you off just give you options which is great nowadays.

Re: Nintendo Switch Surpasses Lifetime PlayStation Vita Sales Within Japan

Draxa

Meh I don’t think it’s important if it outsells PS4 especially since it’s had such a considerable head start on the switch not to mention we will probably see the next gen PlayStation during the switches lifespan. I do think the switch should be recognized for doing amazingly well and as long as nintendo hits its own sales goals what more can you ask for ya know. These console wars are petty.
