Having said all that, I feel for a lot of you guys. So limited with what you can enjoy. I used to be that way, and then I played a game of football on the Atari, something that was outside of my usual genre, and realized at that moment, as I enjoyed making plays, that gaming is really about getting lost in the moment and enjoying yourself. It's not about what kind of game you're playing, or wether that game is made of polygons or sprites. Therefore, you simply can't knock a game until you've tried it.
Why don't you guys try giving your review after you've played the game. 😉
@iGen "the GamePad and the Switch are incredibly similar."
Yeah, the Switch was inspired by every console Nintendo has made before it including the Wii U. Its mobile mode far outclasses the Gamepad nonetheless.
@Alshain01 Oh, okay. I think I see where you are coming from. You're a fan of the Wiiu's dual-screen functionality. And for you, it's going to be a bit of a bummer that that aspect was left out of the Switch's design. We'll, there may still be hope. Perhaps there is the possibility of a peripheral workaround in the future.
I was prepared for some of you Wiiu owners to struggle with seeing the value in the switch, seeing as how it's not going to be another 4K powerhouse that tethers to your television and makes PlayStation and Xbox fans jealous.
So, here's a little message of encouragement for worrisome Wiiu owners:
You are being so well rewarded for your loyalty, when it comes to what the Switch offers. You're getting a nice leap in graphics performance, enhanced input functionality, a better year one line up, and an affordable premium online service, all on a sleek and compact device that can be enjoyed on your TV set or in the palm of your hands. Not to mention that your getting more bang for your buck this time around. It's miraculous, and I can't say the same for PS4 Pro and Scorpio hopefuls. So don't be afraid to take the plunge, you'll land Softly. 😉
@Alshain01 "A comparison of them is kind of irrelevant. The Wii U Gamepad gets used with the console, the Switch stays in its dock as a console and is never used.
It would be more relevant to compare the Switch screen with the 3DS.
That is my whole issue with this console and why I won't be buying it. I have no need for a mobile device and no desire to spend so much money on a bunch of technology that would literally never get used. At least with the Wii U the second screen got used."
Dude, you're totally twisting this. 😏
Those aspects of the Switch that you don't plan on putting to use will be put to use by a lot of other gamers. In other words, the flexibility of the Switch is a good thing. Because it gives the device optimum market potential. Despite the fact that you can't say the same thing about the competition's universally underused features, they seem to be doing well because of software momentum brought on by good hardware numbers. So think of it like this, you're not buying into a console with features that you'll never use, you're buying into a console with the right features to amass good hardware numbers, which will lead to a lot of great games for you to play.
And you know what? The Switch won't be just any mobile device. You may just get an itch to put those mobile perks to good use. 😉
Yeah, with the Wiiu, It sucked getting the shaft from Third-parties, when I was ready to pay for a quality experience like every other console owner. Nonetheless, I wouldn't put it past thirds to deliver a proper port to a Nintendo console because I knew that there was a reason for how the Wiiu was treated, and I knew that it had nothing to do with the fact that it was a Nintendo console.
Having said that, it's kind of sad to see that you guys have become so paranoid about Nintendo's third-party potential. I fear that one day some big developer is going to release a faithful port on the Switch and you guys refuse to buy only because you suspect that it will be gimped. And gimped because of the same reason that the Wiiu was gimped.
I mean, why would that happen? Not only is the Switch more capable than the Wiiu, but it's a product of outsider input and therefore a lot easier to develop for. Yeah, it may not have the raw power of its console rivals, but it's coming into the market from a different angle. If you're going to suspect such a silly thing as the repeat of a crippling mistake, at least have a good reason.
Oh, and by the way, the Switch already has more than one PS4 version of a multiplat in development, at least in Japan anyway.
@Grumblevolcano "I'm feeling more confident that the rumour about FIFA on Switch being equivalent to the 360/PS3 version is true."
Uh, no. If that were the case, it would be ready for launch. It's being built from the ground up. What part of that do you not understand?
I can understand your need to overreact to this news though. The editor did edge us on, unjustifiably comparing this to the Wiiu's typical third-party support.
I say unjustifiably because this situation is currently with just one game, and we don't know the reasoning behind it yet.
I'd like to see what this game looks like, aside from that, I think that this developer might be using the wrong medium to send a message, unless this will be one of those games with prominent cinematic aspects, like Uncharted, or consequential AI. Beyond that, if you give a gamer a giant simulated tank, they may have too much fun destroying things; ask Grand Theft Auto.
"I suspect Nintendo is not necessarily trying to go head-to-head with the PS4 and Xbox One. Not because they couldn't, but rather they've just very much carved out their own niche ever since the Wii and are doing their own thing at this point."
It's silly to include arms in the running. It's gaining popularity but it hasn't built an audience yet. Give it some time on the market and it may be in the next EVO, after the one that's currently coming of course.
@NEStalgia "That's some pretty big, and very direct (insert DIRECT hand gesture here) statements from EA. It's encouraging. They're using similar language about Nintendo listening to them since the beginning (and even including a competitor mentioned by name). The language here feels very similar to the language used regarding PS4 prior to its release."
Some of you guys are depressing. Forget about the subject of third parties giving Nintendo a chance, the real problem is that you won't.
What did you want EA to say, that they hate the Switch? Would that have been more satisfactory for you. If you hope for Nintendo's success, why do you keep ignoring every indication of the company being on the right path with the Switch?
I can see that you have no problem processing troubling news, so why don't you try letting good news be good news, and be glad for it.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Who said it couldn't play it. Your jumping to your own conclusions. Sounds like someone's been drinking the haterade. I'm sure the reason why it's not getting it is because they have other plans at the moment, because , well...they said that. A new console is not going to get every AAA title at launch when developers are busy working on current systems. The XB1 and PS4 suffered a similar fate as the Switch at launch. Eventually, as sales started to pick up more games started to come. Hopefully, that's how it works out for the Switch.
@electrolite77 I'm aware that Sony and Microsoft gamers complain; they complained about the Xbox One's DRM before it even launched, they complained about the PS4 Pro's lack of certain features before it even launched, and so on and so forth. But then they got over it and those consoles sold. It's the difference between them and many Nintendo gamers. Sure, I know that the games helped, for the XB1 and PS4, but I just get a sense that many members of Nintendo's audience are sliding into a depression that is altering their outlook.
And I don't expect positive news where it isn't deserved, but I don't expect negative news where it isn't deserved either. The public keeps associating the Switch with the Wiiu, when it has little in common with the console outside of portability. And no the approach to graphics isn't the same; the Wiiu used a dated CPU, the Switch on the other hand, uses modern chips and associated software. If the switch fails, it would be for its own reasons, not because it's another Wiiu.
And I'm just...so tired of the Wii being ignored. It proved that a console can be marketed successfully without it going head to head in the graphics race. Yet the Wiiu is what people refer to when talking about the Switch's presumably modest console mode. It is creating unfair assumptions that the Switch will fail.
If the Switch isn't going after the PS4 and Xbox One in specs then we should assume that it wasn't designed for that particular audience. Yet people keep calling it a possible failure because they don't predict that it will appeal to Playstation and Xbox loyalists. It's a common illogical analysis that is starting to frustrate me. Especially because I'm aware that the success of any console really comes down to its ability to reach its intended audience.
Anyway, I just feel like there's too many opinions of the Switch going around, considering that there's little understanding of what the console is all about in terms of where it's aiming. And a lot of people are being misguided and misinformed in the process.
Does the Switch have the tools to find its place in the gaming market? We'll just have to wait and see. I have high hopes, maybe that's why I preordered one. 😉
@electrolite77 Why are you guys always talking about all this negative crap when it comes to Nintendo. Nobody wants to hear that mess all the time. You guys keep rambling on about things you don't expect to change. And your having too much fun with it. If you don't expect it to change then learn to deal with it and find something else to talk about. Or maybe just leave Nintendo alone and go find some other hobby. Sony and Microsoft are both far from perfect, but I don't hear their fans rambling on about what they hate about the companies. Man, I hope in 20 years we're not still talking about the Wiiu's low support and how that is supposed to effect its fourth successor. Sorry about the rant guys, it's just that I'm bored of this. 😒
Note: I'm not referring to the subject of this page. The subject of this page is fine, and speaks the truth. It is Nintendo's responsibility to ensure that the Switch sells. What bothers me is the constant comments about why the company won't succeed. You guys honestly think that Nintendo wasn't aware of the kind of market the Switch would be competing in? Come on. The company is up to something, and right now it's not clear what it is, but I would reserve judgement until we see how the Switch performs.
@Damo "What doesn't help in the Switch's case is the fact that it's clearly not powerful enough to handle PS4 and XB1 games, so the idea of releasing a title on all three at the same time is out of the window. We're always going to get scaled-down versions or last-gen ports. That's not really the fault of third parties, that's just a fact of life when you make a system which doesn't have technical parity with its rivals."
I imagine games will often be scaled down for the Switch, but your "last gen ports" comment may have been a misleading overstatement. Do you know what kind of hardware gets last gen ports? Last gen hardware. That's what the Wiiu was with it's outdated CPU. The Switch on the other hand is not last gen, it's very modern, but on different terms than what will be its competition. It's got advanced input functions, limitless flexibility, and cutting edge mobile graphics tech. A combination of features that haven't been seen in one device before. Not to mention that it can run UE4, one of the more popular high-end rendering engines. At the end of the day, I imagine that the Switch will have some interesting third-party support, if those guys at Nintendo play their cards right.
Nintendo...Play their cards...Almost ran into a pun there.😜
@joealejos "The obsession of those guys (DF) with anti aliasing is so boring. The majority of things they complain about in their videos (for every platform) are unnoticeable unless you pause the game and zoom in 400%"
I know, but what they do is big business in today's era, where many gamers seem to be obsessed with system spec numbers. I'd say that the only thing that bothers me about what they do is when people overreact to a petty result, one or two frame drops and the game is a mess.
@Ralizah "I mean... that's what they do. Obsess about performance. That's their thing."
@TheDavyStar Umm... Are you new? Alex criticizes Nintendo all the time. You guys are awful and you don't even know it, or maybe you do and you enjoy being pricks. I say that with respect.
@faint Don't give the haters any of your attention, their not worth it. They lack dignity and respect. I mean, calling Alex a liar and challenging what he said because it was positive? They're just messing with you, bro. They get a kick out of that.
@Splatmaster I disagree with you, and I don't know where to start in my explanation of why. Sounds like you're nitpicking a little though. That's okay though, that's common amongst Nintendo's usual critics.
@Mizar Dude, you are putting way too much weight into your opinion, considering that you are yet to really experience the device. It just seems suspect. And makes you seem a little pompous. That's why people got upset about your negative comment. It wasn't justified. At least not yet. and it's way too early to make any final judgements on how the Switch will perform. I mean, the thing hasn't even launched yet. It literally hasn't spent a day on the market.
I'd say it's best to keep your negative assumptions to yourself and maybe do a review after you've tried it, and maybe make a prediction after it's been on the market a while.😉
@faint You're a very sensible guy. That's good to see these days. But, I disagree about the price of the Pro controller. I think the $69 price tag is fair, considering what's going into it. There will be motion sensors, HD rumble, and NFC functionality included with the standard stuff. It will basically be like a Wiiu gamepad without the camera and screen. And I'm pretty sure it's put together with high grade materials. Anyway, that's just my two cents.
@Ninja44X "bottom line for me is i wont be getting a Switch. i was quite tempted but after watching that laughable and embarrassing presentation i wont get it, ill stick with the 3DS. I think nintendo has a potentially massive failure on it's hands here."
Dude, no one cares if you're not getting one. You think that's going to stop the rest of the world from enjoying the console? No one expected the console to be everyone's cup of tea. And you can miss out on the Switch for that stupid reason if that brings you pleasure, meanwhile I preordered mine yesterday.
Then again, maybe I should look at this from another perspective and imagine that your attention was misdirected. I see that you are a Nintendo gamer, a proud owner of a 3DS. So, perhaps I can guide you into making a proper decision by presenting to you the highlights of the conference, which can culminate to reveal a reality where the pros far outweigh the cons.
PROS
Powerful Nvidia mobile tech
Sleek and fast portability
Scalable CPU/GPU
Effective stationary performance
3 modes of play styles
Advanced & Intuitive Joy-Con
Yay, cartridges!
Vivid & Crisp 720p screen
Clutter-free OS and UI
No region locking
Upgradable storage (2 TB!)
Zelda at launch🤗
Fifa will be big in the UK😉
Over 80 games in launch window
Tons of developer's onboard early
Finally, Bethesda!😎
Premium online service (in the fall)
CONS
Peripherals are a bit pricey
Day one launch lineup is sparse
32 gigs of onboard storage (trivial)
Perhaps one of the cons I've listed would be a deal breaker for you, I don't know. As for the price of the console, I'd say it's a sweet spot between $399 and $199. You have to realize that Nintendo is delivering a premium device, and premium technology usually comes at a premium cost, hince why the PS4 is back at $399 with the release of the Pro. The good side of all that is you get more longevity out of the product. I think that Nintendo, learning from the past two generations, wants to deliver something modern enough to have effective staying power. In 18 months when prices start to go down, you'll be glad that Nintendo went the premium route. That's all the knowledge I have to give you on this subject, and If you still feel compelled to skip the Switch, that's cool with me, to each his own.
But, know that there are going to be a lot of forces out there that want to blind you, and keep you angry at Nintendo. They'll want to convince you that it's all over, and to not put your trust in the Switch. They'll want to cram their opinions down your throat and tell you how to feel about the Switch. They'll stir negative feelings in you or fear. They'll do it for clicks and likes. Avoid these biased creeps if you want to be where you belong.😉
@KirbyTheVampire The accessories aren't overpriced (maybe the dock is), they're just a bit fancy for people who expected cheaper tech. What Nintendo has done is like Microsoft launching the Xbox one with the Elite controller.
I like the price of the console as well. It's a sweet spot between $399 and $199. It puzzled me that people were anticipating a price tag of $249 as if they'd forgotten what the specs were like for the last two gaming units Nintendo launched at $250.
Anyway, I preordered mine yesterday and was almost too late. I missed the colored ones though, which is a bummer, but I'm good, the grey is pretty slick too.🙂
@Honelith You sure that's a good idea? 🤔 There's no telling how long this thing's going to be scarce. And you'll want to sell your Wiiu while it still stands at a good value.😉
"I feel that the console isn't priced properly (at 250 or less), nor the controls (set of joycons at 60, one joycon at 40, pro controller at 50)"
I'm willing to bet that you say that because you know so little about the Switch's inner components. And much of the gadgets in its Joy-Cons surpass the gadgets used by the competition's standard controllers, not to mention that there's more versatility and functionality. You get what you pay for.
"1, 2 switch at 50, really!!?."
Yes, really. It may not be for you, but that doesn't have to mean that it doesn't have sales potential, because you see, you don't speak for every gamer. I remember being self centered enough to perceive that Wii Sports wouldn't sell much after the Wii launched. Soon enough, when that game started to sell like hotcakes, I discovered that the gaming landscape was bigger than gamers like me, much bigger. Believe me, those guys at Nintendo know what they're doing.
"I see that the Switch will fail. Badly. I expect no more than 25 million sold, unless they come around, do a 3DS-like price cut and develop a robust game library to keep us busy."
All they'd need is the games. Dude, seriously $299 is not expensive for a brand new next gen console. Especially if it will give us a good five years. For goodness sake, the PS4 Pro is $400 (the Scorpio may cost even more) and technically isn't a new console! Some of the peripherals could use a price cut though, although I do understand why they are a bit costly.
Now before you get mad at what I just said, you should know that I'm not trying to be mean; it's just that you annoy me, and I'm sure that you annoy a lot of the other readers here.
I guess I owe you an explanation. We'll, everything you say seems to have a forced negative undertone. Don't get me wrong, I understand that you have every right to an opinion, but you kind of come off as a troll. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe you're just hard to satisfy. If that's the case, disregard what I said.
@gatorboi352 "You know, when you stop and think about it, it is pretty funny (not in the 'ha ha' kind of way either) that this is pretty much all Switch really is at its roots; some thing Sony tried to do with PS4 and Vita a few years ago."
You know, it's kind of funny (yes, in the ha ha way) but when you think about it, that interaction between the PS4 and Vita was inspired by the Wiiu's integrated off-tv concept. Nice try.😉
@dres "I think we should not expect to much form western third party developers to begin with. Many of them will wait and see how Switch is received and the launch sales. It's understandable, when you consider how awful the Wii U has sold."
To be fair, their lack of attention is what sunk the Wiiu, at least in the West and Europe. They can't keep making excuses for not providing Nintendo's audience with healthy amounts of AAA software; It doesn't do their company any good and it doesn't do Nintendo any good. They need to focus on building relationships with Nintendo's audience. In order to do that, they have to properly introduce themselves on a (viable) Nintendo platform. They didn't do that on the Wiiu and got what they earned. Basically, if Western thirds want to make a profit on the Switch, or any Nintendo platform going forward, they've got to bring their AAA game. Nothing less will get the job done.
Here's to hoping that Western developers have learned their lesson as well as Nintendo. Backing down isn't the answer like a lot of people are saying; backing down was the original problem. Going all in and taking a real shot would be the proper solution to their struggles with Nintendo. Let's hope they'll have the guts this time around.
@kobashi100 "people need to stop looking at mobiles and and saying they do 1080p so why can't switch. A mobile phone isn't displaying graphic intense games. When mobiles start pushing out games like the scale of Zelda at 1080p then we can talk."
Actually, mobile devices do run graphically intensive games, just on a smaller scale. And what's with all this "impossible" talk? Just because it hasn't been yet done doesn't mean it's impossible. I can remember a time when a handheld with the power of the Vita was unimaginable.
Furthermore, according to Nintendo, the Switch will be a "new" concept; therefore, it would be silly to speculate its performance, based on any past technical achievement.
And the members here at nintendolife have got to stop falling for all of the annoying rumors of specs that just wouldn't work for what the Switch is trying to do. I would guess that the Switch will be efficient, in the least. And I'm sorry, but slapping an X1 in the device just sounds counterproductive, even in terms of Nintendo's first party potential.
@OorWullie "I personally think if they do go with VR, it'll be used for things like Miyamoto short movies, tech demo's like Wii Street U and maybe mini games. I'll be surprised if they make full games with it."
Umm.. Really? Where have you been for the last ten years? In fact, the Virtual Boy, which launched 21 years ago had full games, and wasn't half as advanced as the VR we see today. I'm pretty sure that Nintendo would do some amazing things with VR, if they had a second chance with it, because that's just what they do.
@KirbyTheVampire "Man, the comments in this article just prove to me that even Nintendo fans don't want to believe any positive rumors. Only the negative ones are worth listening to, apparently."
@BigKing "I wouldn't be surprised if storage will prevent once again a ton of ports to arrive on the Switch, just like with the N64 and Gamecube. And the Switch will probably launch with a bunch of Xbox/PS4 ports so everyone gets their hopes up. Until they realize that none of them will sell well because everybody only buys Nintendo games."
2012 called. It wants it's post-launch Wiiu trajectory back.
@Captain_Toad "Since it's Michael Pachter and he's never been right about anything, the Switch will be impossible to develop for and to port games on! Yep, Nintendo is doomed."
@Zadaris "A sad fate could await the Switch if this is true, and given that such a massive chunk of the rumours to date have been accurate it's something to fear. We can't even rely on Nintendo first part support either because once the system starts struggling badly they just withhold their best titles for a future system and expect us to survive on the fumes of a dying console.
Some will do it for the Switch, I know I will, but if a similar scenario with the Wii U happens it will absolutely shatter customer confidence in the company."
Falling right into the media's trap, aren't we? Don't let 'em get to you bruh. If you want some advice, stay away from these articles. It's getting out of hand right now. They're not calling rumors what they are anymore, and it's easy to get confused and off base.
You should focus on enjoying the games you have, while anticipating the Switch's launch lineup, which we know should be stellar. And remember, the only truly credible source for inside info is the horse's mouth.

Re: Bit Boy!! Studio Bplus Confirms Trio Of Titles For Nintendo Switch
Re: Zoink Teases Its New Game for Nintendo Switch
Interesting news, indeed. That Vikings game looks 😎
Re: Feature: Nindies and Nintendo Switch - Developers Reflect on the New Console
"I suspect Nintendo is not necessarily trying to go head-to-head with the PS4 and Xbox One. Not because they couldn't, but rather they've just very much carved out their own niche ever since the Wii and are doing their own thing at this point."
Love that quote. So wonderfully unbiased.
Re: Video: New Nintendo Switch Advert Shows Off Its Number Two Feature
@Senpai_Bruh "What a crappy commercial; who plays Mario Kart in class?!"
To be fair, playing it (a full console version) in class wasn't possible before the Switch.
Re: The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Will Not Feature HD Rumble
@impurekind So I see we're still looking for ways to justify calling the Switch a Wiiu? 😑
Way to overreact, dude.
Don't get me wrong, I'm disappointed too. But, to be fair, I wouldn't be as effected if rumors didn't have me looking forward to it.
Re: Pokkén Tournament and ARMS in the Running for Evo 2017 Player's Choice Spot
It's silly to include arms in the running. It's gaining popularity but it hasn't built an audience yet. Give it some time on the market and it may be in the next EVO, after the one that's currently coming of course.

Re: Nintendo Has Involved Third Parties "Since The Beginning" With Switch, Says EA's Patrick Söderlund
Interesting observation. 🤔
Re: Nintendo Has Involved Third Parties "Since The Beginning" With Switch, Says EA's Patrick Söderlund
Re: Capcom Has No Plans To Infect The Nintendo Switch With Resident Evil "At The Moment"
Re: Soapbox: It's Nintendo's Job To Make Switch A Success, Not EA's, Ubisoft's Or Capcom's
Re: Soapbox: It's Nintendo's Job To Make Switch A Success, Not EA's, Ubisoft's Or Capcom's
Re: Soapbox: It's Nintendo's Job To Make Switch A Success, Not EA's, Ubisoft's Or Capcom's

True that.
Re: Video: Alex Shares His First Impressions Of The Nintendo Switch With Nintendo UK
@TheDavyStar Umm... Are you new? Alex criticizes Nintendo all the time. You guys are awful and you don't even know it, or maybe you do and you enjoy being pricks. I say that with respect.
Re: Video: Alex Shares His First Impressions Of The Nintendo Switch With Nintendo UK
@faint Don't give the haters any of your attention, their not worth it. They lack dignity and respect. I mean, calling Alex a liar and challenging what he said because it was positive? They're just messing with you, bro. They get a kick out of that.
Re: Video: Alex Shares His First Impressions Of The Nintendo Switch With Nintendo UK
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Want to bet $100 that you're wrong? I'm ready to bet when you are.
Re: Video: Alex Shares His First Impressions Of The Nintendo Switch With Nintendo UK
@Splatmaster I disagree with you, and I don't know where to start in my explanation of why. Sounds like you're nitpicking a little though. That's okay though, that's common amongst Nintendo's usual critics.
Re: Video: Alex Shares His First Impressions Of The Nintendo Switch With Nintendo UK
I'd say it's best to keep your negative assumptions to yourself and maybe do a review after you've tried it, and maybe make a prediction after it's been on the market a while.😉
Re: Video: Alex Shares His First Impressions Of The Nintendo Switch With Nintendo UK
Re: Video: Alex Shares His First Impressions Of The Nintendo Switch With Nintendo UK
Re: Video: Alex Shares His First Impressions Of The Nintendo Switch With Nintendo UK
@SLIGEACH_EIRE I see harsh reviewers at Nintendo press events all the time.
Re: First Impressions: A Switch Surprise - Cutting Snipperclips Down to Size
@Grawlog Yeah, I've been meaning to get an Elite controller.
Re: First Impressions: A Switch Surprise - Cutting Snipperclips Down to Size
@KirbyTheVampire The accessories aren't overpriced (maybe the dock is), they're just a bit fancy for people who expected cheaper tech. What Nintendo has done is like Microsoft launching the Xbox one with the Elite controller.
I like the price of the console as well. It's a sweet spot between $399 and $199. It puzzled me that people were anticipating a price tag of $249 as if they'd forgotten what the specs were like for the last two gaming units Nintendo launched at $250.
Anyway, I preordered mine yesterday and was almost too late. I missed the colored ones though, which is a bummer, but I'm good, the grey is pretty slick too.🙂
Re: Hands On: Putting the Nintendo Switch Hardware Through Its Paces
@Honelith You sure that's a good idea? 🤔 There's no telling how long this thing's going to be scarce. And you'll want to sell your Wiiu while it still stands at a good value.😉
Re: Hands On: Putting the Nintendo Switch Hardware Through Its Paces
Re: Hands On: Putting the Nintendo Switch Hardware Through Its Paces
@gatorboi352 You need to go away.
Re: Feature: Our Hopes for the Nintendo Switch Presentation
@gatorboi352 "You know, when you stop and think about it, it is pretty funny (not in the 'ha ha' kind of way either) that this is pretty much all Switch really is at its roots; some thing Sony tried to do with PS4 and Vita a few years ago."
You know, it's kind of funny (yes, in the ha ha way) but when you think about it, that interaction between the PS4 and Vita was inspired by the Wiiu's integrated off-tv concept. Nice try.😉
Re: Feature: Everything You Need to Know About the Nintendo Switch, So Far
@LegendOfPokemon "Glad to see a Nintendo Switch article that focuses on known facts and not rumors!"
I know, and what really grinds my gears is when they call the rumors "confirmed" info.
Re: Nintendo Switch Presentation to be 'Live From Tokyo', in Japanese with English Voiceover
Re: Hype Builds as Nintendo Switch Advertisements Continue to Appear in Stores
@Clownshoes Someone's just looking for attention. 😏
Re: On Nintendo Switch Power, WSJ Tech Writer Pitches in With Alternative Details
Re: On Nintendo Switch Power, WSJ Tech Writer Pitches in With Alternative Details
Re: On Nintendo Switch Power, WSJ Tech Writer Pitches in With Alternative Details
@kobashi100 "1440 docked with 1080p undocked. Yeah I am not believing that for a second."
Why? Would it take the powers of Merlin to make that happen?
Re: Pachter Says Switch is the Easiest of the Big Three to Develop For
@KirbyTheVampire "Man, the comments in this article just prove to me that even Nintendo fans don't want to believe any positive rumors. Only the negative ones are worth listening to, apparently."
Welcome to Nintendolife.
Re: Pachter Says Switch is the Easiest of the Big Three to Develop For
@BigKing "I wouldn't be surprised if storage will prevent once again a ton of ports to arrive on the Switch, just like with the N64 and Gamecube. And the Switch will probably launch with a bunch of Xbox/PS4 ports so everyone gets their hopes up. Until they realize that none of them will sell well because everybody only buys Nintendo games."
2012 called. It wants it's post-launch Wiiu trajectory back.
Re: Pachter Says Switch is the Easiest of the Big Three to Develop For
@Captain_Toad "Since it's Michael Pachter and he's never been right about anything, the Switch will be impossible to develop for and to port games on! Yep, Nintendo is doomed."
Lol.😜 ...Lol...right?😳
Re: Eurogamer Report Suggests Nintendo Switch GPU Runs 60 Percent Slower When Undocked
