At this point all I'm really hoping and waiting for is Mario Kart 9. Did all I could do on 8 back in the WiiU days, been playing Tour since launch, didn't bother with Home Circuit.
It's in my backlog to be replayed when I can spare the time. I've only completed it once as a 10 year oldish kid, now I wanna see what I think about it 25 years later in my old man days.
First of all, I would like it to be called super or new Nintendo Switch, Pro is just "too Sony" for my taste... with that said, I don't mind about the exclusives, it's understandable and I intend to get it for the 4K TV output. I only play docked so that'll be a nice feature to have.
Coming from the other side of the coin, as a Switch user who plays at home in docked mode 99.9% of the time, I can say this was a very interesting read as to how "the other side lives" 😂 Always nice to read about a new perspective on the things I cherish.
All of them, as I've been doing since the days of PS2, Xbox, GC and Dreamcast. I also did wanted everything before those as well, but couldn't afford it back in the 90's.
I'm currently playing through 3D All Stars and after that it's going to be Galaxy 2 on Wii and 3D Land on the 3DS, in anticipation for 3D World + Bowser's Fury, so yeah, still gonna play my little midnight purple og 3DS for a while.
With all that said, I'll definitely miss the age of dedicated portables. RIP 3DS and also Vita.
The "save the girl" OoT one is actually an ok add without that last sentence. The music is fine and syncs up well with the gameplay being displayed and the text and the voice over aren't bad either.
I'm glad that it's finally available here in official capacity, but I do hope that it's not just another half baked attempt like they did with the WiiU back in the day, with no official eshop and sparsely available physical games.
This rings very true to me, as most of my favorite stuff comes from the land of the rising sun. Games, anime, manga, cars, motorcycles, food... so many things to like...
Hard choice between those two hehe but nothing against Canada, if anything I'm most grateful to be able to use the eshop there and get my game on. I'm a proud eshop Canadian since the WiiU days.
That long blond hair and those green breast plates fooled me just right lol
Sure is a great game and also boasts that amazing soundtrack to boot. Still my favorite series ever to this day. Hoping to see X9 someday, now that the franchise had it's revival with Mega 11.
I also completed Woolly and was about to do the same with Crafted, till I realized I was never gonna unlock white and black Yoshi (cause they aren't there lol), then I gave up on doing 100%.
Just yesterday I was glancing over my SNES games and picked up Yoshi's Island box to have a closer look. The memories of wonder came rushing in from those days long gone... Happy anniversary!
As for the SNES celebrated classic that I struggle with, it's Super Metroid. I tried playing it many times and never seemed to grasp the awesomeness of it. I guess playing the more responsive games in the series first, like Zero Mission and Return of Samus Remake, makes super's gameplay seem a little bit clunky in comparison. Maybe I oughta give it another shot sometime.
Two ill-fated Hollywood movies, to be more precise.
I've recently made myself to watch through "Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li" and oh boy... I didn't think they could do worse than the 90's movie, alas I was mistaken, they did.
I won't deny my sinful thoughts of seeing a Nintendo IP made in unreal 5 and running in 8k on series X, but I'll settle for Battletoads on switch for now. Perhaps a new Banjo later down the road.
Seems like Sega is only thinking about their home turf regarding their 60th anniversary and that's sad as I wanted a global release for the Game Gear Micro.
About the whole "fog gaming" idea, I think it's ok and I hope it succeeds, but that's nowhere near " PS5 level news" in the grand scheme of things. Only a brand new global Sega home console could hit that point.
Golden Axe, Shinobi, Altered Beast and Comix Zone are all fine by me. And if they want/manage to work on IPs from others besides Sega, please let it be Final Fight 4.
Graphical leaps and other improvements in past generations where truly a sight to behold. I'll forever have etched to my memory the first time I got a glimpse of Super Mario 64 running live in my local video store. For a kid who had only recently finished playing the great 2D Super Mario World, 64 seemed like something from another world entirely.
Perhaps bringing Virtual Console back would be a start, including games from all previous consoles and handhelds. Aside from that, better discounts and free monthly games like the competition has been doing for ages now.
I love the fact that Nintendo is always trying to go their own way in regards of everything, that's one of the mains reasons I like and stick with them, but there are times when that way of thinking ends up being detrimental to their business and clients.
I'll admit that when you put it like that it sounds really fun hehe Back when this was somewhat a possibility, I did wonder if they could make it better by mixing F-Zero into it.
Nice! Been waiting for a new one since I finished Color Splash way back when... and if this turned out to be true, I sure hope Mario All Stars 2 is also coming shortly.
Kojima could go back to working on MG and SH since he have close ties with Sony right now and they could also bring Iga back to work on Castlevania.
To people saying it should be Nintendo making the offer, I agree it would also be cool to see, but let's face it, those IP's are as much (if not even more) part of Sony's history as they are Nintendo's.
As someone who in some way or another, follows E3 news since 1995, I can't deny the current state of affairs brings me a bit of sadness for the good ol' days. I never managed to attend the event myself, but for me it still holds that mythic special aura of gaming goodness.
Same here, but I still intend to get it even if just to help decorate my room together with my other minis. I just get such a feeling of nostalgia out of every single time I look at those little machines.
I was actually looking forward to this release. Too bad I won't get it on March 19, but nothing to do about it besides waiting for it to be eventually released.
Even so it's a lot of time with zero footage whatsoever besides a title. Metroid Prime 4 did something similar and we all know how that turned out... Don't get me wrong, I really do hope all is fine with the dev of Bayo 3, but I'm starting to get a little worried when there's news of reassurance here on a weekly basis lol
Despite their constant reassurances, the fact remains that it's been 3 years without a single screenshot... Even Scalebound had more footage than Bayo 3 at this point.

Been playing it everyday since launch. It's a far cry from the console games, but it's all the new Mario Kart I have for now, until MK9 comes along.

True, but the WiiU was a commercial failure. They probably just gave up setting up shop here. Maybe it'll be another story with the switch.
