Re: Feature: The One Thing Wii Did Much Better Than Switch

The IR sensor on the Wii Remote was definitely more accurate, but I was actually really impressed by the pointer controls on Metroid Prime Remastered. Does require you to recalibrate fairly often, but it's just a quick tap of the R or ZR Button.

In general, pointer/gyro controls are so much better for shooters than dual analog. I really struggle to understand anyone who argues otherwise. I can only put it down to stubbornness and/or laziness, quite honestly.

@SonOfDracula 98% of the time, my Switch was firmly tucked away in my backpack and I wasn't even thinking about it. But like I say in the article, sometimes you'll have huge bus and train journeys with not much to see, or airport delays. Trust me, I was a busy man; spent most of my time adventuring and socialising, but on a three month backpacking trip, you are gonna have some downtime. It's just the nature of it.

Hi guys! Just to clear something up, here's what Thomas wrote in the original feature:

"Our aim with this list is to avoid speculative entries, but include titles stated to be coming in 2014, even if no specific date has been given; we're optimistic that all of these games will arrive this year. We'll update our list every three months, but long-absent titles such as the previously teased Yarn Yoshi don't make the cut this time around."
