@Samus06 - I have to agree. I was expecting to be absolutely mindblown by 3D Mario, just as I was back in 2005 with the reveal of Super Mario Galaxy. 3D World kinda looks by-the-numbers, just knocked together to push out as quickly as possible. The lack of orchestrated music was particularly depressing, especially after Galaxy's incredible soundtrack.

I hope this is just a quick effort to boost Wii U sales for the Christmas period, and we're going to get something in the vein of Galaxy before the generation's over.

I don't understand this argument that it's okay to pirate games because they're expensive. So what? Lots of things are expensive. What is this ridiculous notion that games are a commodity, some kind of human right? I can't afford a Ferrari, doesn't mean I can just go and steal one.

Like most things in life, if you can't afford it, don't have it.

Re: Smartphones And Tablets To Be "Primary Screen For Gamers" By 2017

Even as a very light user (mainly texts, occasional Twitter/Facebook checks) my phone's battery barely makes it through the day, nevermind playing resource hungry games on it.

Wake me up when someone figures out how to make a phone with the graphical fidelity of the PS Vita, an OLED screen, physical buttons and sticks, an operating system that's functional both as a phone and a games console and a battery life of over 12 hours, all in a form factor that's usable as a phone without looking dorky.

Maybe then I'll be interested. Maybe. And still probably not.

Re: GAME Bags European Exclusive On eShop Download Codes

Hang on a minute, why would I go out of my way to go to a physical store, to buy a download code for a digital version of a game that I could have downloaded from home without leaving the house, and pay more money for it than I would for a physical copy?

What?! Just...what?!
And yes, £41.99 is cheaper than £49.99, but that kind of only applies if you pay £49.99 for games, and who actually does that?
