@djslope Oh I didn't expect you to read these comments. Now I feel bad for being harsh. For what it's worth I actually did like the video up 'til that point (and do like )
I can't trust anything he says in this video. He said Monkey Ball 3D can be controlled with the stylus. It can't. Your options are circle pad or motion controls.
I don't think he even played the game. Sice I've only played one other Monkey Ball game (Super on GameCube) how can I believe anything he says about the others?
I think it's more to do with changing Pokemon names than it is the change in language. I'm sure Western fans would be pretty annoyed if they suddenly changed the names of a couple hundred Pokemon we grew up with.
The voices are very well imitated but the writing doesn't quite match up fully to the game itself. Lines such as "how did he make it in" for Cloud would never be in the game, for instance.
If they didn't release a new game with a whole new set of toys every year the market would be doing just fine. As usual, the short-term greed of publishers has ruined the long-term profitability of a market sector.
StarTropics should be Sakurai's next franchise resurrection. There is a lot of potential for new and interesting gameplay, as we saw in Kid Icarus Uprising.
20 years, and it shows to be honest. Don't wanna be too hard on the guy. He's probably the sole reason the Pikmin series is ongoing. Oh, and the reason it exists in the first place. And so many other Nintendo franchises. He's essentially the reason Nintendo became such a phenomenal games publisher.
But Sticker Star was bad, and Wii Music wasn't for us HARDCORE gamerz, so he sux.
Jim Sterling unethical? I don't think I've seen anyone who calls out major publisher on their bullsh!t at much as him. He promotes ethics in gaming, if anything.
So glad they did this. The texture pack and Adventure Map are fantastic. Exploring all the different nooks and crannys of the world seriously blew me away - 4J Studios/Mojang did a phenomenal job.
@rjejr Their next console certainly has to be cheap. Current rumours don't seem to indicate that, but I don't really pay attention to them that much. I am pretty harsh on Nintendo, but it's only because I care Personally, I'll be picking up the NX the day Pikmin 4 or Spla2oon launch - and since Pikmin is said to be nearing completion, I guess it will be a launch title - though I think there's a chance it could be a cheaply-made Wii U title using Pikmin 3's engine and assets. Now look who's off topic
@rjejr Since we're already way off topic here, I'll weigh in and say I agree with you that the NX will sell about the same or maybe even fewer units than the Wii U. The company's reputation is down the drain and it's gonna take a big effort to resurrect it. At this time, I don't see Nintendo doing anything to repair their image. I guess time will tell.
I wish Bayonetta wasn't so good. She was my main before she was even released, and I guess I was lucky that she turned out to be OP. Now though, I think Sakurai is gonna nerf her into the ground, so she isn't even decent
@rjejr There are dedicated forums for NX and Zelda discussion, you know. It would be cool if Heist made it to NX, but the majority of your rant has nothing to do with the game.
I'm looking forward to playing this in HD. I really hope the cross-buy discount is more generous that that of Dig though
Yay, an excuse to recommend VVVVVV! This game is fantastic, one of the best experiences to be had on eShop. I really hope we get a Wii U port with a level editor.
Just checked on Amazon, a new copy of this game is only £14, and they will ship internationally, so anyone who is interested this is a great price for a fine game.
What made you review this now? Isn't Green Groove on DSiWare only a port of the first world of Jump in Music? It's essentially a demo costing £4.50; I wouldn't recommend it.
This is an absolute gem of a game, highly addictive if you are a fan of rhythm games.
So excited! Not too bothered about the digital-only European release, as Askys seem to understand what makes a sensible digital price - VLR is only £24.99 on eShop I believe.
@MitchVogel "The first music streaming app for Wii U" The borders of the world stretch beynd the USA ya know... we already have two music streaming apps in Europe.
@zool Why exactly would the score given to the new Zelda have anything at all to do with the score given to Twilight Princess? They might even have different reviewers.
It's not like the score matters one bit compared to the content of the review anyway.
@Shiryu I never really played as him in Brawl, but now that you mention it, if they brought back him and Wolf we really would have the ultimate Smash Bros (sorry Ivysaur and Squirtle).
@zool As in somewhere between support for all amiibo and support for no amiibo. IIRC, it just supports the Mario and Sonic figures. (With all Mario's variations of course).

Jedward adverts aside, I really enjoyed this on DS. Really glad we're getting more Dragon Quest games in Europe - fingers crossed for Theatrhythm!

Re: Monkey Island Creator, Ron Gilbert, Still Wants to Get the Rights to the Franchise
I fear Disney would rather let the IPs rot than go through the effort of selling them.

@Uberchu Ranked matches are 5 minutes.
I need that Kelp dome diorama in my life.

Re: Weirdness: Fox Stole Footage Of NES Titles For Family Guy And Copyright-Claimed The Originals On YouTube
Just wow. I'm aware Google's copyright system is a joke, but this takes the biscuit. Outrageous.
Re: Video: Learn a Little More About Sonic Boom and The Rise (and Fall) of Lyric
@AbsoluteZer0Nova Lost World has some serious strong points as well. A sequel to that game would be marvellous.

@Einherjar No. First line of the article.

@Tsuchinoko how long does it look like it's gonna take to earn 1,000 platinum coins? I need me some Zelda Picross!
Re: Future Of Project Giant Robot Is Still Up In The Air, Says Miyamoto
They turned Guard into an eShop Starfox game, why not turn this into an eShop Custom Robo game? I'm sure there's a lot of fans who miss that series...

Re: Review: SMART Adventures Mission Math: Sabotage at the Space Station (Wii U eShop)
@LegendOfPokemon I doubt it.
It's probably a better educational maths game than TriForce Heroes though.
Re: Rhythm Heaven Megamix Dancing onto 3DS
This was the highlight of the direct for me. So damn hyped; 100 games is a ridiculous amount of content.
Re: Kirby Is Taking A Trip To Planet Robobot This June
Not a Kirby fan but this actually looks really good. Great way of shaking up the series.
Re: Bird Mania Party Aims to Bring Addictive Portable Gaming to the Wii U eShop
Less that £2? What a bargain! Love Bird Mania.

Re: Video: Image & Form Re-Affirms SteamWorld Heist DLC Plans and Talks Over Captain Piper's Origins
@imageform Can you release some more SteamWorld themes please?
Re: Video: Take a Tour of Pokkén Tournament
Roster seems far too small, and is missing loads of popular Pokemon that would fit in well (where the hell are the Hitmons??)
Despite that, the game looks really fun. I hope we get DLC (or maybe a "Super" version) to beef up the content a little more.
Re: Pokémon Red, Blue And Yellow European Pricing Is Confirmed
Bloody rip off merchants. Also quite a bit more expensive than in the US. You know, for a change.
Re: Video: Nintendo Reminds Us of Just How Much DLC We Had for Super Smash Bros.

Re: Video: Nintendo Reminds Us of Just How Much DLC We Had for Super Smash Bros.
@Shiryu Bring back Adventure Mode, throw in Inkling and Ice Climbers while keeping all the cast of 4. Game topped.
Re: Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games Gets Dated for Europe

IIRC, it just supports the Mario and Sonic figures. (With all Mario's variations of course).
Re: Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games Gets Dated for Europe
Are these games really worth a new addition every 2 years?
The premise of a Mario Sonic crossover has been there since 2008. Make a bloody real one.
