I don't think he even played the game. Sice I've only played one other Monkey Ball game (Super on GameCube) how can I believe anything he says about the others?

Hmm. I really didn't get the gameplay from that trailer.

I think it's more to do with changing Pokemon names than it is the change in language. I'm sure Western fans would be pretty annoyed if they suddenly changed the names of a couple hundred Pokemon we grew up with.

Jedward adverts aside, I really enjoyed this on DS. Really glad we're getting more Dragon Quest games in Europe - fingers crossed for Theatrhythm!

The voices are very well imitated but the writing doesn't quite match up fully to the game itself. Lines such as "how did he make it in" for Cloud would never be in the game, for instance.

If they didn't release a new game with a whole new set of toys every year the market would be doing just fine. As usual, the short-term greed of publishers has ruined the long-term profitability of a market sector.

StarTropics should be Sakurai's next franchise resurrection. There is a lot of potential for new and interesting gameplay, as we saw in Kid Icarus Uprising.

So glad they did this. The texture pack and Adventure Map are fantastic. Exploring all the different nooks and crannys of the world seriously blew me away - 4J Studios/Mojang did a phenomenal job.

@rjejr Their next console certainly has to be cheap. Current rumours don't seem to indicate that, but I don't really pay attention to them that much.

Personally, I'll be picking up the NX the day Pikmin 4 or Spla2oon launch - and since Pikmin is said to be nearing completion, I guess it will be a launch title - though I think there's a chance it could be a cheaply-made Wii U title using Pikmin 3's engine and assets.

@rjejr Since we're already way off topic here, I'll weigh in and say I agree with you that the NX will sell about the same or maybe even fewer units than the Wii U. The company's reputation is down the drain and it's gonna take a big effort to resurrect it. At this time, I don't see Nintendo doing anything to repair their image. I guess time will tell.

I wish Bayonetta wasn't so good. She was my main before she was even released, and I guess I was lucky that she turned out to be OP. Now though, I think Sakurai is gonna nerf her into the ground, so she isn't even decent

Yay, an excuse to recommend VVVVVV! This game is fantastic, one of the best experiences to be had on eShop. I really hope we get a Wii U port with a level editor.

What made you review this now?
Isn't Green Groove on DSiWare only a port of the first world of Jump in Music? It's essentially a demo costing £4.50; I wouldn't recommend it.

This is an absolute gem of a game, highly addictive if you are a fan of rhythm games.

This could be up there with Runbow, Spin the Bottle and Nintendo Land for fun with lots of people. Very interested, great review.

Roster seems far too small, and is missing loads of popular Pokemon that would fit in well (where the hell are the Hitmons??)

Despite that, the game looks really fun. I hope we get DLC (or maybe a "Super" version) to beef up the content a little more.

@Shiryu I never really played as him in Brawl, but now that you mention it, if they brought back him and Wolf we really would have the ultimate Smash Bros (sorry Ivysaur and Squirtle).
