'Palutena's Guidance' is a feature in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U & 3DS that allows secret conversations to be held, much in the same vain as Snake's Codec Conversations in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Palutena advises Pit about the opponent he's up against, and these conversations can only be activated on her stage (Palutena's Temple), and only once per match. They're quite intriguing (for the most part), as we get to hear the thoughts and opinions of each SSB4 fighter from the cast of Kid Icarus, as well as learn more about Pit as a character through his somewhat entertaining dialogue.
Unfortunately, the developers of the game didn't include these secret conversations for any of the new DLC arrivals. Each DLC fighter brings on the same generic conversation, which goes as follows:
Pit: Who is THAT?
Palutena: I have no data on this fighter.
Pit: I can't believe it!
Viridi: It must be an intruder from another dimension!
Pit: Whoever it is, the goal remains the same: to fight and win!
With that said, Zelda Universe have enacted its own take of the secret conversations on the latest DLC newcomers - Cloud, Corrin, and Bayonetta - through its YouTube channel. In this writer's opinion, the voice acting is quite superb, and it certainly doesn't feel like a fan dub. It should also be mentioned that ZeldaUniverseTV also uploaded a video back in September for the first wave of DLC entrants, that being Mewtwo, Lucas, Roy, and Ryu.
Have a watch of both videos below and let us know your thoughts. Are you impressed, and do you think these are accurate representations of each character?

Other than Pit's voice being just a touch deeper, this is remarkably well done. Viridi's voice, in particular, was dead on.
I could seriously listen to Pit, Palutena, Viridi, and Hades talk back and forth all day long (with a little Pyrron thrown in too)
Seriously, in the newest version, I couldn't tell the difference between these and the original voice actors even if you told me. Glad that Pit voice got better, too!
Yesssss, I was waiting for when they'd cover Bayonetta. That was an especially enjoyable segment. I wonder if Hades will make good on that promise though.
"Have fun, Pit!" SMASH! XD
This was very well done, especially the voice acting.
Ho boy, that Pit. Still, pretty good work.
this is great. and Palutena and Viridi have very close voices. The humor is almost at the same quality, too.
It might not be much but I wish they could of least added a conversation for the DLC characters, this is great!
Kid Icarus has some corny voice acting but this game, Fire Emblem and Star Fox prove that Nintendo has zero excuse not to do voice acting in their games like Zelda and Mario or text heavy games like Pokemon and Animal Crossing even if it's just Japanese voices I would be happy enough!
Spoliler Alert for the video
Am I the only one who saw this and got bummed that Bayonetta (or like Rodin or Jeanne) didn't cameo in Bayonetta's clip? I thought that was cool when Chrom cameoed in Robin's and thought that would make perfect sense.
@ASonic3582 well if you want to help voice them and make pictures of them talking then just contact them, if is a fan project after all.
Whoa, really well done!
THAT VIRIDI WAS AMAZING.
Wait, these people were doing IMPRESSIONS?!?
That's awesome, now I wonder what Snake would say about these characters had him and the codec is in the game.
The voices are very well imitated but the writing doesn't quite match up fully to the game itself. Lines such as "how did he make it in" for Cloud would never be in the game, for instance.
Really good! It's probably not realistic for Nintendo to re-hire the Uprising voice cast just for staggered post-development DLC characters, but it's always nice to see talented fans make the impossible possible.
I'm seriously impressed. This is near-professional dubbing. If it made it in the game, I'd never even hear the difference.
The Pit voice could use some work, but the Viridi was spot-on. Palutena was pretty good too.
I have to admit the female voices were spot on and the group did a great job on this, but unfortunately they fall exactly in the line with the others in Sm4sh, boring and not funny....
Snake's codec which weren't all funny or great, were far superior to these Palutena's Guidances.
Hades' guidance would actually be hilarious. I really like him, shame he was sort of blown up and removed from existence and all.
Whoever voiced Viridi nailed it.
Strong voice-acting, especially in the second one!
I like how they avoided gender pronouns when referring to Corrin. That was a nice touch.
What do they mean about Pit and Bayonetta not needing a formal introduction? How would they have fought before?
Now if memory serves me right, I do believe the guy playing Pit (Jellopocalypse) has done some voice work over on youtube. For anyone interested, here is a link to one of his videos

@Adam I believe they're referencing the witch's introduction/announcement video. She's also famous for killing angels by the horde, too, so there's that.
Good watch. I suddenly missed playing Kid Icarus. That 'shoyuken' though. LOL
This is really well done! The recording quality need some work, but their voice acting is really awesome.
