I'm really scared about how this game will sell if that release date is true. Mario is huge and will no doubt sell several million. And that comes out just a little over a week before Sonic Forces. Hopefully Forces won't be DOA because of Mario Odyssey.

Regardless, I'm excited but cautious for Mania and Forces. Hope they both turn out spectacular.

I think the shortages are free publicity for nintendo, even if it's not necessarily positive publicity. Still, it's despicable that these things are in such low supply for the obviously high demand. They should've learned to not underestimate nostalgia after the NES Mini.

Amazing. But Sonic games usually have amazing music, even the bad ones (06, Secret Rings). We'll see at E3 if this game is truly great like its brother, Sonic Mania.

@LiberatedAnimal what's wrong with motion controls? I've heard that they are very responsive in ARMS. They're another way to play games for those that want to play like that. What's wrong with options? Also, you can play ARMS with a normal controller.

I think it looks good and really interesting concept-wise. I will get it not only because it looks fun, but also to support new IPs from Nintendo.

I played the demo this past weekend and had a ton of fun! Will definitely look into it, even tho I suck at these kinds of games, haha.

Isn't that what Nintendo does best? Delivering good games that just about no one thought of, wanted, or asked for? Splatoon, ARMS, Super Mario Galaxy (who actually thought about Mario in space?), and more fit this category.

That said, the idea sounds cool, even if I'm not that fond of Rabbids. At least this game gives us multiple playable characters besides Mario or Luigi. Hope this game is good.

Man, oh man. If they can put Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5 on Switch, my life will be complete. A pipe dream for me is KH3 on Switch. Even if its a huge downgrade, I would still buy it on Switch.

It may release in Japan this year, but I highly doubt it'll be localized until at least early 2018. Is love to be wrong, though.

Oh my gosh. If Kingdom Hearts 3 or KH 1.5+2.5 came to Switch, I think I would cry of happiness. I would be able to play Kingdom Hearts 2, my favorite game of all time, any where and any time Is want in at least 720p at 60FPS.

Definitely noticed improvements when I played today. Super glad they're trying to improve performance!

Don't care. Still hyped and still buying when it comes to Switch. I've never played a BK game, so this will be an experience without the rose tinted nostalgia goggles.

It's neat. Download, go do something while your game downloads in sleep mode, come back and play without losing barely any battery.

The Switch game library is quickly increasing (I know this game is on other platforms, but Switch has portability). Hope to see more indie titles make their way quickly (looking at you Rocket League).

Gonna be buying this, FAST RMX, and maybe Shovel Knight as soon as I get some eShop funds.

To those complaining about "boost to win," does anyone realize that the boost is an optional thing? You don't "have" to boost. Just don't press the boost button. Sure, you may not go as fast, but then you'll have the ability for more precise platforming. You're usually not required to boost.

I'm so hyped. This is what I've been wanting from Sonic Team. I hope parkour will be implemented in some more refined way. I loved it in Lost World and think it could be improved for Sonic Forces. This and Sonic Mania will be great for Switch because now I can play Sonic anywhere!! YEAAAHHHHH

@Anti-Matter Same, physical is always my choice since box arts and cartridges are pretty awesome to look at.

Can't wait to try this game out and to finally have something else to play besides FAST, Zelda, and Shovel Knight. Splatoon was great on Wii U. And the ability to play this in portable mode is great. Hype!!

@Shiryu I never registered Epona because I hadn't got to a stable before scanning Smash Link and got shot by a Guardian before I got a chance to save.

So should I just keep scanning Smash Link?

@Alshain01 is it random on what scans she comes back? I've scanned Smash Link several times since that day and still haven't gotten her back. I really don't want to load that save since I've made a lot of progress since then.

Wait so what happens if you scan Smash Link for the first time, get Epona, but then die somehow shortly after without saving or getting her to a stable? Do you permanently lose her?

I've had no issues with my left joy con. I guess it just varies per person. But there are some issues that need to be fixed somehow. Like the wi-fi problem.

Can't wait for this game. It'll be super awesome to have Classic Sonic back with a modern touch. This is made by Christian Whitehead, a normal Sonic fan who really knows what he's doing (he worked on the Sonic 1, 2, and CD mobile releases I believe, and I think he almost got Sonic 3 on mobile too). I have confidence that Sonic Mania will show the media that Sonic has got what it takes.

Why would they give a discount on the Wii U version when they have the better Switch version soon? Shouldn't they give a discount on THAT for Wii U owners who already own it on Wii U when it releases?

Was thinking about it but now I'll pass. Games should not cost more on Switch compared to the other consoles. You're getting better graphics and likely better performance on the other platforms, so even if the portability on Switch is a plus, the higher cost will certainly drive most away.

I kinda want Miiverse back more than a Web Browser. Idk why but I enjoyed Miiverse for what it was. Among all of the trolls and hacking and dumb posts there were some genuinely nice people that I came across. When it worked, it was a nice experience that I'd love to see back on Switch with maybe a more robust drawing tool.

Awesome news. Hope the Switch succeeds in the long run. It's a really great concept that, while having some flaws (dock scratching the tablet, left Joy-con desyncing), is super convenient (console-quality games ON THE GO)! It's basically a better Wii U, but that's not a bad thing. Hope the number of games available and sales keep increasing.

David Wise is too good. Definitely getting Snake Pass to go along with Zelda and Fast RMX. Can't wait for Yooka-Laylee as well.

Pretty good launch IMO. Zelda is a colossus of a game that will surely tie over most of the user base till bigger releases like Splatoon 2 or MK8 Deluxe. I will get Zelda, probably Snipperclips, Just Dance, the Splatoon 2 testfire, Snake Pass, and (maybe) 1-2-Switch. Sonic Mania and Splatoon 2 will be next whenever they release.
