On a Warhammer 40K Dawn of War crusade this weekend. Been having a hankering for slaying Xenos in the name of the Emperor. I miss playing tabletop 40K!

@IceEarthGuard Or stick to digital, where there is no surplus and no shortage. If all you want to be able to do is play the game, that's the best possible solution. Then you can create a backup in the event your system fails, and you'll be good to go. I think people confuse ownership and access. Access is more important.

Not gonna lie. I'm not a Sonic fan, never could get into any of the games. They all looked and felt sub-par. But this? I might actually give it a go. On Pc, of course. I want the inevitable mod-support that we will be able to enjoy.

@Beaucine Performance should be at the top of everyone’s mind. The PC port is still totally borked for many users, and it’s performance issues have been rectified by a fan-made patch that Switch owners will not be able to use if it’s still a broken mess. Definitely a wait and see, imo.

Hopefully it will run as well as the PC port that they never fixed!

Automata was the most disappointing thing I've played in modern gaming. I played the demo, which was amazing, then got the actual game and was let down by it being yet another large, empty, open world. It really felt like a bait and switch.

Ray Crisis is so bad, but the other two games are fantastic. If I still had a switch, I'd probably buy them!

@Funneefox The Mario 64 PC port is still alive and well. Another M2 Remake is also still very easy to obtain via google searches. I think things will be ok

I remember probably about 15 years ago seeing a Melty Blood arcade machine next to a Guilty Gear one. That particular venue had weekly tournament for fighting games. I used to admire their skills in between DDR sets. This article just reminded me of those little moments.

This update sounds perfect for me. I loved the atmosphere that Dead Cells presented, but playing it was way too frustrating so I gave up on it. The option to continue is a godsend on its own, but the other features look really handy, too. Thanks devs! You’re definitely giving us our money’s worth!

Played it and beat it, but the grind for unlocks made me not come back. Great game fouled by a crappy unlock system that it didn’t need.

@Magrane So, my birthday was on Monday, and I checked in with Steam today and one of my friends gifted me TMNT! So I turned off the voices and gave it a go today and while it lacks the magic of TMNT 4, it’s combat is very, very fun! Not one of my top games, but it’s certainly a good one! I wish I could turn off the challenge nags, though. Maybe an update will address it.

@moodycat Yep, same here, though for me the game also has to hold up. I only ever played some of 3 and some of 7. Kept hitting a wall with them about halfway so I stopped following the series other than for it's music. Truth be told, running Ys music while playing souls games is a fantastic time

@moodycat Man, that part of the game was breath taking for me. I acknowledge your feelings on the matter, since that last boss gauntlet is pretty fearsome. I did wish that there was only a single boss after Maliketh for the main story line. It’s very exhausting (depending on build/gear) fighting from Godfrey to the last boss. And I’ve been playing these games since Demon’s Souls, so I get you.
