It's also Groundhog day. Back in the day Sonic 3 came out on this day. Sega called it "Hedgehog Day", so I kind of expected a Sonic game. I have a filling Super Punch Out won't come out until the Wii one comes out, and that's like in July, Smash bros. probably won't until April. I hope I'm wrong though.

There's Contra Hard Corps, Mutant League Football, TMNT: Hyperstone Heist, Road Rash, Primal Rage, Mortal Kombat 1&2, Lost Vikings, Earthworm Jim 2 and a few others still as well.

Friday the 13th comes both in February and in March. Cause Resident Evil 5 comes out on Friday the 13th in March. So maybe both those Friday's will be good over there.

@Kenryoku_Maxis: I still liked DragonQuest(Warrior) IV DS, but I've never played the original so I am missing the true classic. I'm not sure if I'll get V or VI for the DS later. I have III on Gameboy Color, IV (of course), and VIII and they're all good. imo.

I as well think these one game releases have been great since PSIV, but agonizingly slow. I'm somewhat expecting a crap game or Super Smash Bros. next week. These are hit or miss weeks. If SSB doesn't come out this month than I might buy CVIII. Edit. People can continue complaining about Earthbound and Rondo of Blood now.
What could be the next Castlevania. Was Bloodlines after IV? I also have SotN on my PS3.

I liked bubsy games. Has anyone ever played Spot: 7up, a game for the Genesis. I would like to see original Contra as well. There's a lot of games that I've already mentioned a few times in past articles that I would like to see. So I'm kinda done with it for now. Lets just hope the slow release season comes around.

Ok, I believe for every 3 to 4 months of 3 to 4 games a week
(VC + WW) we will get 2 to 3 months of "slow" time, hopefully. I own 33 VC and 1 WW (MM9) and if Nintendo is running out of licences then just release games from the coming soon list. Lincenes that they are already with, and all the other sequals or variations to games already out ie. Mega Man, Metal Slug, Contra, Ninja Turtles, Castlevania, Double Dragon, and others. We've had a few slow times and maybe it'll come around in this month or next just like what happened with the other slow months, but if it doesn't than I would just play a VC that I haven't beaten yet or play all the other classics again that I have, or play a different system (PS3). Plus, the last few weeks on VC have been good even if it was only one at a time. So people, "just grin and bare it".

Get over it people Earthbound is not coming out for Hanabi. (I'll probably get kicked out for saying that).
KDL3 is a good Kirby game that I will download eventually, but I still have Secret of Mana and Phantasy Star IV to beat. Maybe Nintendo is going to start having WiiWare as one game releases and VC for two releases eventually. (I know, I'm hoping to much)

I loved both 1 and 2 and hated the card game in COM.
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep is looking better than 358/2. In graphics and story wise anyway. imo.
Level 5's White Knight Chronicles is looking decent, but they should be making Dark Cloud 3.

I own Majora's Mask, but I would like to see it on VC. It makes it easier to have it as a channel. imo

At least its another N64 game. Better than not getting any N64 games month after month....after month.

ok..ok I haven't downloaded since Earthworm Jim and that's only two months. I've gone longer, actually before August I didn't download anything since December of last year. Next week is my birthday week (its on the 21st) so I'm hoping to hell we get something on the 22nd. The way it looks though it just might be cake and a swift kick in the balls from the VC as my present.

Sonic needs a comeback, and it should be on the WiiWare in Sonic the Hedgehog 4.

Like I said I'm not going to complain until either the week of 22nd or 29th. A Sonic game is great anytime. It's not highly rated for me since I have Sonic Mega Collection and Gems Collections and original Sonic 1, Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic Blast, Knuckles Choatix, Sonic CD, Sonic Chronicles, and Secret Rings. I collect the comic book series as well; only missing three issues out of 195. phew.

A Wii game release with a related VC game hasn't happened since Mario Galaxy and Mario 3 came out, I think.
My dream VC game for this month is that hopefully PSIV comes out.

So USA has gotten 20 games since Sept. 1st. Hmm... So at this rate by March or April we should have around 300 games.

Still playing Chrono Trigger. I love Sonic games, but why don't we get Sonic & Knuckles instead of kinda Game Gear Sonic games. I'll get pissed if NOA is still doing one crappy VC game weeks by the week of the 22nd and the 29th.

U know ocarina of time has been out for ten years. They should've put Majora's Mask out to celebrate that occasion, but nope. NOA probably can't do it because of the expansion thing. There's five Monday's in December, so hopefully only one of those weeks is one game.

remember, wii anniversary is next week. Eventhough monday doesn't fall on the 19th, but the 17th is close enough.

If this is going to be like summer of 08 then next week will be one NeoGeo game. Hopefully Metal Slug 2.

I'm also for once glad for a bland week, eventhough Gradius 2 should be looked at by all. I need to beat SoM and I'm busy with Sonic Cronicles. Sonic Cronicles is really a great but not amazing rpg, imo. Plus I'm getting LittleBigPlanet as soon as they fix their song issue.

So many great games so little time.

Besides Mayhem in Monsterland, you guys got jipped. Three games this week is weak.

So TG16 games next week, and the last Monday in October is probably Castlevania 3 and Earthworm Jim.

I still think Capcom needs to release one Mega Man game a month now. Ex. In America anyway we had MM1 in August MM2&9 in September. So I think 3 in October, 4 in November, and etc. until Megaman 7 on SNES comes out then release MMX to X3.

I as well have downloaded it when it came out, then S&P.
DH is an awsome platformer, its a little out there but really fun, and I still haven't beatin it yet. I'll get around to it eventually.

Once again Hudson got kicked to the curb. I knew they would because the second week of September we got TG16 games so next week we should as well since its the second Monday.
I'm glad N64 games are back, hopefully we're not going to wait every 5 months for a new one. If that did happen, the next one would be around the 300th release. I've got a good feeling EWJ will come out this month but right now SFII is a must buy.
Castlevania III should also come out for Halloween week IMO.

Hudson has been wrong before. Probably not this time though.

@Cally: because its the best, IMO. I'm pretty sure we'll see this coming Monday or next. We might get the two TG16 games first.

I have 30 VC and 1 WiiWare, plus some channels and 10 game saves, and I still have over 5100 blocks left on my 1 GB. So I think I'll be fine transferring games until the spring. I'm guessing it will be around March.

Happy B-day. Bomberman Blast and Super Turrican 2 are pretty sweet b-day gifts.

Hopefully wait until the Tokyo Game Show commences.

Wow. One great week. Super Dodge ball I played alot as a kid and Vectorman is amazing in itself. Then there's MM9 which everyone should get at some point.

Capcom needs to make an X9 like Mega Man 9 but use the original graphics from MegaMan X of course.

@Digiki: I also bought DQIV today. MMX4 is pretty sweet. I've beaten X through X6, except X3 that was a little too hard. I hated the 3D X's X7 & X8.

I expect mediocre game(s) next week since MM9 is coming out. Does anyone know how much Mega Man 9 will cost? I'm going to download it anyway whatever the price.
