Re: USA VC Releases: Cho Aniki and Final Soldier

Bendover83

Ok, Ok. I'm done as well. This is a gaming site right? If He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named says anything else then I'll just laugh it off and high five him. Kutlist is right it was getting to far and I for one apoligize too. I just couldn't help myself.
Back to games.
@Mickeymac: It depends on which genre you like the most.
If anyone cares I finally defeated Y's yesterday, and I enjoyed the whole game especially the ending.

lol. Alpo (ASS), your comedy gold.
So why hasn't Alpo or ASS been deleted yet? I know why, because he's too damn funny. Hey, mushmouth, huw yu duing.

Bendover83

omg, I missed out on an awsome day of flamming. So is it only my opinion or does Alpo need a great big word "ASS" stamped across his forehead or should it be stamped across every post he makes on here. Should we spell it ARSE just for him. lol. I haive a digrie iin accoonting. lol. I'm spent.

Re: USA VC Releases: Cho Aniki and Final Soldier

Bendover83

I'm giving this week a pass. I might eventually buy Final Soldier later though. So what else might come out this month lets see: Earthworm Jim, Secret of Mana, and Mario Golf. Out of those three my money is on Mario Golf. Europe will get it as game 250 and we will get it the Monday before or after their Friday. If we start getting one import week a month then we should (but wont) get one N64 week a month.

Re: USA VC Releases: Cho Aniki and Final Soldier

Bendover83

So its another week closer to Mega Man 9. I'm excited. Mega Man 2 will be released a week before Mega Man 9. 2 should come within the next two weeks then. Did people really think we would have another astounding week. The rollercoaster has to peak sometime. I'm not saying its a bad week. Final Soldier is a great shooter, and Cho Aniki is a little out there, but people(kids) need to get over that and just try the damn thing.

Re: USA VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Clu Clu Land

Bendover83

@Mr. Cheez: Let me help ya finish that with Batman sound effects
BANG! BANG! POW! SMASH! CRACK! BOOM! and I'm spent.

@Mr. Cheez: "so you spend all your working time blogging on this site? Where do you work, an abandoned warehouse or something?" Didn't you hear he works at one of those know-it-all jobs. jk. This is probably going to start something, so how about we just drop it before it starts. Anyways, I don't think he said "all" of his working time.

Re: USA VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Clu Clu Land

Bendover83

People and their bickering. It's a riot. That's what keeps me awake.
@timp29: This site is like someone putting honey out for bees. You put out a certain comment (honey), sooner than later the bee(s) will start to come and get the honey but then sting you constantly. Why? because its honey and you put it out there, so you get stung.
:>
If that didn't make sense, well then I'm clearly drunk.
Tomarrow's VC games: Hudson "says" both of their games are coming out tomarrow, but we probably all know what happened a month ago. Well it could happen, but I'm thinking Mega Man 2 and Final Soldier or Cho Aniki.

Re: USA VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Clu Clu Land

Bendover83

@Stuffgamer1: Never got the super suit. I've gotten to 67 jumps on the emulator and like 41 on original console, if I had enough patience I think I could get the Edit: I meant the Super Suit. Scarf was 30 suit was 100.
O, I want whatever BadKnux/GoodSonic is on right now. wackytabbacky. ha. Either that or pancakes.?!?!?
mmmmm.....pancakes.

Re: USA VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Clu Clu Land

Bendover83

Smash DS would probably have some kind of trade system with either stickers or trophies to get a even more rare trophy/stickers, but I'm thinking to much of Pokemon so I don't think that would happen. Wi-fi support would be a given, and probably final smashes. I'd say around 25 stages, most of Smash64 stages and maybe a few new ones.

I beat Y's book one yesterday. I started playing the day before. I'm enjoying it. I like the story and love the rock.

Re: USA VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Clu Clu Land

Bendover83

I would go for a Smash DS, I don't think they would put a lot of new characters in but probably Zelda/Sheik, Sonic, Marth, Luigi, Ganondorf, and take out Jigglypuff. ha
Also, they needed Mega Man in the game. He's one of the most legendary mascots for nintendo who's not in there. His body would tradtionally be from older Mega Man games, and not from the Mega Man X games. They also needed Knuckles.

Re: USA VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Clu Clu Land

Bendover83

I play it from time to time. I still don't have all the stickers (662) & trophies (541). I've done that one trick with stickers, where you go to create a stage put sandbag on high and have sandbag against a wall. Then keep pummeling it and just keep doing that since more come if ya use a conveyer belt. I agree Stuffgamer1, Ice Climbers are bad, also Jigglypuff. My favs are Link, Sonic, Falco, Snake, Bowser, Luigi, and Samus.

Re: USA VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Clu Clu Land

Bendover83

@Stuffgamer1 #321: I played him only a few times after getting to monstro town, I know not to ever do that again. I guess when I tried everytime I didn't prepare well enough, eventhough I was strong enough to beat the game and had rock candies. thx.

Re: USA VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Clu Clu Land

Bendover83

@Mickeymac #315: No prob. For an old game its alright, it reminds me of all of those other puzzle-arcade type of NES games.

@cally #316:"Not exactly the toughest extra boss in an RPG. I cannot remember a strategy for it or anything after all this time."
Back then SMRPG was one the first rpg's for me, and I never got through that FF boss. I didn't own the game, so I rented it until I beat it and most of the side quests except that one. Than after the SNES fadded out I really wanted to play it again for the longest time. About eight years later I got the emulator and played through it a bunch but still never gone through that boss. Now since I actually own it, it will be done. phew.
I've played a few rpg's before than but this game really jump started my love for rpg's. My very first rpg I think was FF1. Back then on NES I mainly played platform/adventure games.

Re: USA VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Clu Clu Land

@Tony #312: What's with that controller anyway, I just about had to get another person to use one side of the controller while I used the other. O, it also needed like five more buttons. ha

@BBSting #307: Quit messing with my convoluted dreams. If he's rich enough why not. He has so much money he could have an army of gold robots take down his worst enemies. ha.
Stuffgamer1 is right, you change your avatar way to much. It's like, "Well its a new day, time to change into a new avatar." It's hard to choose one I know, that's why I don't have one yet. There's just too many awsome pics out there.

@Stuffgamer1 #308: "Almost" anything could break if mishandled incorrectly. I don't mind that u nitpicked. At least you knew what I meant. I guess it could be hard to pick up on sarcasm in here. For future reference maybe I should say "ha" or "lol" after every sarcasm or exaggeration quote.

So back to SMRPG. Has anyone fought and beatin that final fantasy IV boss that's in Monstro town? Edit: I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who actually hasn't killed him. I've tried numerous amounts of times and I've gotten nowhere.

Re: USA VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Clu Clu Land

Bendover83

If no one spoke what's on their mind here, then why even have an option to comment. It's pretty interesting reading what anyone has to say.
@Mickeymac #262: I've played Clu Clu way back on its original cartridge and I had fun with it for awhile. At the twelth level I got frustrated and stopped playing it. It was a deffinent challenge for me when I was young. Now, I don't think I would pay $5 for it, but if ya like hard puzzle type games than ya should give it a go.

@classicmike #272: Bill Gates reminds me of Uncle Scrooge. I can see Bill swimming in a money vault. He may not get everything from Microsoft, but he is filthy rich from making it what it is today.
I haven't had any problems with my current gen systems(Wii & PS3). Sure Microsoft has improved the 360 to not brick as much, but it still has that possibility. I just can't buy a system that has that slight chance of messing up. Doesn't that extended warranty tell people, "Warning, if system is handled incorrectly or is on for a certain amount of time the system will malfunction."

I just knew SMRPG was going to take this US post over 300, especially after the EU SMRPG post. Sweet!

Re: USA VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Clu Clu Land

Bendover83

I have a PS3 and Wii also. I have the older 60 gig PS3 which I upgraded a few months ago and put a 250GB in it. PS3 does really need more exclusives and RPG's and little less shooters and racing games. Heavenly Sword is amazing. MGS4 is the best in the series IMO, then MGS1 as a close first. Uncharted is like Tomb Raider but better. I'm waiting for FFXIII and God of War 3. No 360 for me, I don't want to pay Microsoft for a console that they haven't fixed yet. "ya, I like to pay $400 for that one red ring of death please." ha. Anyway, my first current gen system is the Wii, I was one those peeps waiting in line for midnight release.

Re: USA VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Clu Clu Land

Bendover83

Is this Virtual Bash a Person.com. (VBP.com) NO! This is the VC-R. Let's argue about games, game related things, or opinions about games, and not bash people who have opinions or wanted to state something that was on their mind. Ya, let's argue about what other people have in mind but don't just blind side them with an insult. Ex. Innocent person: "So Nintendo should never put in a memory upgrade for the Wii." BASHER: "YOUR'RE STUPID FOR EVEN SAYING THAT."
Anywho, going to play SMRPG and collect some frog coins.

Re: USA VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Clu Clu Land

Bendover83

@Digiki: Thx. O, I've actually done that before. I remember now. I don't use (Edit) other parts of Wii Shop as much anymore.
@Tabbyluigi: Ya, I agree it isn't very good, but I remember playing it back in the day and I wouldn't mind getting it. It sux yes, but it's a rare game to get. It will probably be one of the last VC games. As I said before: "Mega Man 2 and Final Soldier next week." Actually Mega Man 2 the week after next. Could "Ninty" really release another stellar game next week?

Re: USA VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Clu Clu Land

Bendover83

The other Mario games not yet out:
Super Mario Kart, Mario Golf, Mario Party 1 - 5 I think, Mario Tennis, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Mario Picross(USA), Mario All-Stars, Mario Paint, and Mario is Missing. There's probably a few more I didn't mention. Mario's done it all. He's been used.

Re: USA VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Clu Clu Land

Bendover83

OMG, OMG, OMG!!!
DOWNLOAD,DOWNLOAD, DOWNLOAD!!!
Phew, got that off my chest. This is another week that I predicted right. "Some random NES game and SMRPG." So next week will be... hmmm...Final Soldier and Mega Man 2 or Earthworm Jim. Mega Man 9 won't come out until the fourth or fifth monday of this month.
btw...In a months time we get Sonic, Mega Man, Samurai Shodown II, Y's book 1 & 2, and now SMRPG, this must be a slow time for Wii game sales. Also the greatest month in existence for the VC. So this month in games my predictions are: SMRPG(duh!), Clu Clu land(duh), Mega Man 2, Final Soldier, Cho Aniki, Phantasy Star IV, Earthworm Jim, Mario Golf, Secret of Mana, and World Heroes 2. That's two games a week, but I'm thinking one game on one of the weeks. *Remember those are predictions

Re: USA VC Releases: Ys Book I & II and Samurai Shodown II

Bendover83

Sooo...back to games. Wouldn't it be a shocker if Majora's Mask came out for 250. Just saying that because we haven't had a N64 game in quite some time. It "should" be SMRPG though. Would "Ninty" release two great RPG's back to back? It could be a first, even though they've released every other genre back to back a few times (ex. Fighters and Shoot'em ups).

Re: EU VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels

Bendover83

@WolfLink22: Did I say SMRPG is coming out tomarrow. nope. I might of implied it. I just wanted to know how much space it took, and guess how much those other two might take to see if I had room left. SMRPG will eventually come out, it might take a day, week, or month, but we will get it. If it never does come out than Nintendo will officially be Communist. Like I said way back on comment 131: "Prediction on Monday: Ys book I&II and Samurai Shodown 2."

Re: EU VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels

Bendover83

@ MaxPlastic #222: "I also thought the attention to detail in environments and graphics is second to none on the PS2, not to mention the refreshingly political story... Rather than some whining piddly mess about emotional, hollow characters , or destroying some world religion."

I felt the same way for XII, its just that the battle system got boring pretty fast for me especially after playing around 200 hours and having everyone at lvl 75. I never did beat that one boss that I think had 50 million HP. The boss that was the very last Mark.

Re: EU VC Releases: Super Mario RPG and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels

Bendover83

Prediction on Monday: Ys book I&II and Samurai Shodown 2
Monday after Next: Some random NES game and SMRPG - 250th. People and their hatred for PSOne and PS2 Final Fantasy games. Personally my favorite FF games are: FFVIII, FFIV, FFX, FFIII, and FFVII. I'm glad that Europe finally got SMRPG. theory - Europe has had Vectorman for around a year now, so the US will get Vectorman soon. Then once Europe has had SMRPG for a year, US than will finally get it (Really hope I'm wrong).

Re: USA VC Releases: Mega Man and Neo Turf Masters

Bendover83

@Phantom93: Check real closely on that date that Ghouls n' Ghosts came out, because that was actually last year that it came out. You can double check be looking at the Games out now on this site and it shows that G n' G came out last year on the 27th.

Y's book I & II and Samurai Shodown 2 will likely come out next week. First Monday in September probably Megaman 2 than soon after, MegaMan 9. My very first WiiWare purchase.

Re: USA VC Releases: Star Parodier and Break In

Bendover83

7th lutz #177: I checked Battletoads on my emulator after my comment, and ya ur right. That sux. Didn't know that about G-Mode, since I haven't played those games you mentioned and haven't done any reading about G-M having rights to DE.

Well time to buy Battletoads online to play on my 1st version Genesis.

Re: USA VC Releases: Star Parodier and Break In

Bendover83

Bass XO #174: Ya, just being a little too optimistic. I pretty sure Doom, Winback, Duke Nukem, Road Rash, Primal Rage, Killer Instinct & Gold (Rare), DK64 (Rare), Mutant League Football, Gauntlet, and Karnov, probably won't see the light of day. Those Disney and WB licensed game(s) just might. Contra, Earthworm Jim, Ninja Turtles, and the other Double Dragon games will eventually, and Battletoads should, I think since Double Dragon is out. Most Mario games will eventually. Those others I left out, I don't know what will become of them.

Y's book I & II and Megaman would be nice on Monday, but I don't think "Ninty" would be that nice. eh, you never know.

Re: USA VC Releases: Star Parodier and Break In

Bendover83

What I would like to see in the next few years on the VC is:
NES: Contra, NInja Turtles 2&3, DuckTales, Chip&Dales Rescue Rangers, Metal Gear, Karnov, Guantlet, Paperboy, Marble Madness, R.C. Pro Am, and Rampage.

SNES: Uniracers, Turtles in Time, Return of Double Dragon, SMRPG, Mario Kart, Starfox, Battletoads, Killer Instinct, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Super Punch Out, and Zombies ate my Neighbors.

Genesis: Earthworm Jim 1&2, Ninja Turtles: Hyperstone Heist, Primal Rage, Road Rash, Contra: Hard Corps, TinyToon Adventures, Battletoads, Lost Vikings, and Mutant League Football.

N64: Winback, DK64, Smash Bros., Doom 64, Mario Party, Mario Golf, Duke Nukem: Zero Hour, Killer Instinct Gold, and Majora's Mask even though I have the original Gold version.

That's my huge rant of what I would like to see come out in maybe a few years. I wouldn't even mind to have one game from every system come out thats on this list within the next year or two. BTW, Star Parodier is nothing short of amazing. Deffinently a good buy.
