I hope they ignore any gamers input, otherwise it will become a terrible movie. The only chance any movie (that are adaptation of games) can be any good is if we gamers are being completely ignored.

I hate the term boomer shooter. Boomers didn’t play video games. At least the vast majority didn’t. They were born between 1941 and 1955. Typical Generation Y and Z. Know nothing and name everything wrong.

The gaming industry is releasing to many games in a short period of time. Who has time to play them? People have families, work, school, relationships. And mostly open world games that take forever to finish. Also the gaming services like game pass or ps plus. People still playing older games because they can it’s cheap and easy. These services undermine the profit companies make with new games.

How can you include Metal Gear Solid in this list by doing so you applaud the lazy job Konami did. The same goes for Batman Arkham Trilogy

That will increase his personal bonus as well. It’s all about money. I hope nobody here is so naive to take anything he says seriously.

If it’s compatible with Switch 2 I will buy the game, if not then it’s just a money grab.

That quickly turned around. 2 weeks ago people on here celebrated Phil Spencer’s positive reaction on Mario Bro. Wonder. Funny how gullible people are. And now everyone is angry at this guy. He is a CEO of one of the biggest companies in the world not your best friend it’s his job to do whatever it takes to be successful.

Just two weeks ago lots of people on here were celebrating Phil Spencers comments on how much he liked playing Super Mario Bros. Wonder. And I was predicting that this was just one of the steps for Microsoft to acquire Nintendo by greasing himself into the goodwill of the Nintendo player base. I guess I wasn't so wrong after all.

Funny how gullible people are as if he is nothing else than a wolf among sheep’s. This man only cares about money like every ceo of any company.

This is just the prelude for Xbox buying Nintendo. First step grease yourself into the goodwill of Nintendo players. Step two undermine the Nintendo player base. Step three buying Nintendo and integrating the games into the game pass ecosystem.

In 2-3 weken we can enjoy the update. Like with every update.

It’s RDR on the go. On the Switch. Complaining about this port is whining on a high level.

Let’s be honest here. Nintendo only signed that contract with Microsoft to stick it to PlayStation. It’s not that Nintendo and PlayStation are on the best of terms. And let’s also be honest that CoD will never run at 60 fps on Nintendo. Maybe with a lot of graphical sacrifice 30fps with regular dips under 30 fps. Any other claim is delusional. Or they will only put older games on the console from the Xbox360/PS3 era.

Its another pathetic attempt by Microsoft to pretend its just coming out for xbox and game pass. Just like last time. The same is happening now on the No mans sky website. No mentioning of PS4/5 or Nintendo for the next expedition only xbox. Both company probably will get paid a lot of money.

@GreyFenyx as much as it hurts me to say I have the same problem. 220 hours in and i couldn’t play it for several weeks because of crash cycle. The reason in my case is my capital freighter when its in orbit the game keeps crashing or when i am on board the same. Also i had to erase my large base. After that the game runs better just have to avoid my capital freighter. Also bases that a bit more complex have a hard time loading. I really hope switch 2 is going to be announced soon maybe it will run smoother on the switch 2.

As always Nintendo Switch players will have to wait for a couple of weeks to get this update. 🙄

@Arawn93 First of all I talked about Sony and Nintendo and secondly I didn’t mention Sony exclusive games. I was talking about triple A games from Sony and Nintendo. Both of them release great games on a regular basis. Something Microsoft hasn’t done for a decade. Don’t try to hide that you are obviously an xBox fanboy by accusing me to be one for Sony.

@fenlix we live in a world economy not the US. The EU was worried products from the UK that do not comply with EU rules could enter through the borders of Northern Ireland into the EU and vice versa. Now imagine a product or service that is allowed in the EU, but not in the UK. That is a potential conflict. And if both of them block the acquisition it’s over. Europe is the second biggest economic market. End of discussion.

@fenlix the EU and UK barely escaped a severe trade war because of Northern Ireland in the light of the Brexit. You really think they will add another potential conflict. Because of some merger which will add another trade hurdle.

The acquisition is dead. The EU won’t go against the CMA decision and block it as well. People just move on. If you want to play call of duty so badly buy a steam deck or the new Asus handheld.

I don’t have the creativity to make any good triple A games in the past decade so I just throw around money I haven’t earned with gaming. Buy up as many publishers and dominate the market not buy creativity and hard work but just by money. What I don’t know or have I will buy.

The EU will block the acquisition. They delayed their decision just to wait what the CMA was going to decide. They just barely avoided a huge conflict with the UK because of the border tradings around Northern Ireland. Do you really believe they will endanger that fragile agreement because of a merger between Activision and Microsoft? By adding another potential conflict?

@victordamazio I am against this acquisition, because I am a gamer. Nobody in the industry has acquired publisher’s before except Microsoft with Zenimax and now they try to take over Activision. I would feel the same if it was Sony or Nintendo. Next to that Microsoft still hasnt proved for the last 10 plus year with all their acquisitions that they are capable of producing real triple A games like Nintendo en Sony let alone regularly. So there is no proof that Microsoft will be able to produce these kind of games in the future. So now you have a company like Microsoft owning two major publishers with no positive triple A games track record whatsoever. For me that sounds like a very bleak gaming future. I hope I am wrong and they will start with Starfield.

A good day for gaming. You can buy developers no problem. But stay away from publishers!

And the update disappeared from the No man‘s sky website for Switch 😢 Still can’t play the interceptor update since it crashes at the start of the game for me

I wish I could play the update, but Nintendo still didn’t approve the update. Like always they take their time not really caring. Wouldn’t be surprised if it takes another week or two.

Hahahaha. The best joke ever. Wait that was a joke right? Imagine if that is possible we will get Cyberpunk 2077 in the near future as well. That’s just amazing! Edit: They should make a deal with Sony then we will get all the God of War games and Spider-man games and the Uncharted games. And of course Sony should get help from the magic game wizards at Microsoft. This is just unbelievable.

Here in the Netherlands i ordered it for €40 thats about $42. No scalpers here. Its already on its way

Yeah probably a stripped down version with 15fps. As if a full grown call of Duty would run on Nintendo Switch.And also 9 of the 10 year will be used to develop a Switch version

Yes the perfect game for the Switch! Played it on PlayStation it’s a great game.

I liked 2022 for Nintendo Switch, because the system finally got some games I wanted. No man’s sky, Nier: Automata and Persona 5 Royal. As well as Monkey Island and Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core Reunion. But I really do hope 2023 will bring a more powerful Nintendo Switch. Same concept, but just better and faster specs.

Maybe that means there will be a new switch console before this game is released 🙃

I reinstalled the game for the expeditions at least those seem to work fine. I hope HG will fix the other issues I have soon.

No use I already updated and my issues remain. Game has become unplayable for me. Deleted it and hope they will fix it soon.

@Gumdrop I gave up on the switch version for now and deleted the game. I can’t even raid derelict freighters anymore without ending up floating in space. Not sure what Hello Games is up too. I had issues on the PlayStation version but they were mostly solved quickly, but never issues like this.

Am I the only one that has issues with starting expeditions on your capital ship? When I select View potential expeditions the game crashes. Every single time. I tried it now 8 times in a row and every time the game crashes. The same when I want to manage my fleet. As soon as I exit the Manage menu the game crashes. It’s still persistent after update 4.07. 😞

@WallyWest I am happy it’s not MP that’s why I never did the missions on my PlayStation. Not everyone likes MP.

I hope they will fix some major issues as wel. The game crashes a lot now. It’s really frustrating. On my capital ship I can’t manage the fleet and can’t run expeditions without the game crashing 9 out of the 10 times.

If they raise the price on a 5 year old console using a 7 year old chip that would be ridiculous.

He has some valid points in the review. But then again it’s Atlus so you can be sure they did the least humanly possible to port the game to Switch. But then again this reviewer cannot be taken seriously he compared No mans sky on the Switch with PlayStation and Xbox consoles and concluded that the Switch version has inferior graphics. I could have told him that without an analysis. So you couldn’t really expect anything positive from him anyways.

Yeah sure. On Switch with bad visuals and 10fps. He is just saying that trying to convince everyone that the Activision deal is good for gaming.

@WallyWest compared to Nintendo Switch yes they are. And no they aren’t compared to PS5 and Xbox series x and for sure not compared to PC. But Nintendo Switch yes they are.
