I pre-ordered all of Wave 3 in November, and all of their release dates were pushed into March for me. I'm not getting a notification to approve a delay for Mega Man, though.
Haha, I needed this. Modern gaming holds people's hands sooo much and it shows in these teen's remarks. The one guy made it TEN SECONDS into the level and had to start ALL OVER and he was SHOCKED!
Love the game and the DLC. Can't go wrong when it was free for me. All of the bosses are actually really fun. The stages aren't anything really special, but aren't bad either.
Kickstarter goals are becoming pretty lofty these days. I know it's expensive to make games, but without any type of pedigree it's hard to really be sold on comparisons alone.
Dracula X and Dracula XX are entirely different games, although given the title of a "port." This game is great for lovers of difficulty in games. Not for the faint of heart, that's for sure. Complaining about clunky controls in a Castlevania title is like complaining about restricted movement / stamina in the Souls series. It's clunky for a reason. You are not a superhuman ninja with crazy agility.
I'm more than happy to never support Ubisoft again. Their only good franchise is Rayman, and if they release another title in that series I will get it used.
Definitely getting Dracula X. I have Circle of the Moon on GBA, but I might cave and play it on a big screen. It's one of the greatest Castlevanias. In my top 3. I really wish they would release at least one of the N64 Vanias. I have no means to play them!
"The Legend of Zelda" - None of those words are in the title of the game, so reviewers really need to stop bringing that franchise up in their reviews. This is a separate franchise entirely.
The first game in any KT crossover is usually a bit underwhelming. Gundam went from a somewhat boring first entry, to a pretty exciting franchise. So there is hope.
@R_Champ Nothing more effeminate than saving the entire world from destruction with guns and lightning forcefields. How about we stop pretending that the word "effeminate" even means anything.
@unrandomsam @sinalefa One game with abundant support (that hasn't even been released yet) does not constitute a thriving genre. Besides, I'm not talking about retro throwbacks a la Shovel Knight and Mighty No. 9. I'm talking about the 2D action evolution that kind of stopped after Mega Man ZX. There will always be an audience for retro throwback games. While Gunvolt has some elements from past games, it also tries to advance the genre, like Hard Corps: Uprising did three years ago.
@sinalefa "Waiting for a sale price" on games like this kind of decreases the chances for sequels and games in this style. Sadly, this is a dying genre and Inti Creates needs all the support they can get to show them that we DO want a sequel and we DO want to see more games like this.
I disagree with this review. Mega Man X3 is among my favorites. I don't have the same nostalgic attachment to it that I do X1 or X2, but it is almost as good.
Donkey Kong, Mario, Yoshi, and Link are all day one buys. Maybe Kirby and Star Fox and Samus if I'm feeling careless when I place an order, but definitely those four to start!

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes Launches at Number One in Japan, But With Sales a Long Way Behind Predecessors
I wasn't expecting this to be a big sales hit. Promotion wasn't strong and co-op focused games have a strict audience by nature.
Re: Nintendo Download: 22nd October (North America)
Dear users: A 32GB USB drive (which your Wii U has two slots for) is only $10 on Amazon. You don't need to shell out for an expensive HDD.
Re: Dell Seems To Think Devil's Third Will Be A Low-Price Release In North America

I'm getting this regardless. I have to see what Itagaki has conjured after the masterpiece of Ninja Gaiden.
Re: Talking Point: Pokkén Tournament May Not Be a Wii U Saviour, But It Can Provide a Welcome Boost
It's got to have a pretty big roster for it to be the kind of success that Nintendo needs. Ten characters isn't going to cut it.
Re: Mega Man amiibo Pre-Orders Reportedly Delayed Into March By Amazon in North America
I'm assuming these messages are for late pre-orderers.
Re: Mega Man amiibo Pre-Orders Reportedly Delayed Into March By Amazon in North America

Re: Review: Shantae And The Pirate's Curse (3DS eShop)
DAMN you people are cheap. Looks great. Will buy for the small asking price of $20 (equivalent of dinner at Olive Garden).
