@Suketoudara just remember the negativity is always louder than anything positive. When people have a good experience they never share it. When people have a bad one they make sure someone is tied up and dragon horse. The average gamer is not plugged in online and has no idea of the discourse around anything in the gaming world. They will hear things from word of mouth and that’s about as far as it goes. So along as you disconnect yourself from the web you will have peace.

@Lord The Internet and especially the gaming community is a spool for rage, baiting, hating and negativity. That’s how people get their headlines, clicks and notoriety. Something can’t exist without someone else needing to beat it to the ground and if you like the thing, everybody hates than you seen as a problem or a fanboy or something.

@canaryfarmer oh don’t kid yourself you know that they ROG ally has already been out and the Lenovo Legion go and the steam deck. Especially if you’re following this website all of those items have been talked about and reviewed even by the people that wright here. Also, what’s the point in pulling the victim card you can also just not reply. Acting like you’re ill-informed is sad. You’re literally on a gaming news website so I know you know more than you’re putting out.

What’s annoying me is everyone is acting like this thing is something new. the ROG isn’t new and PC gaming handheld certainly isn’t new. Xbox branding on it isn’t gonna change anything. It’s also for a completely different market. It can’t really be comparable to standard console gaming because at the end of the day this is a Windows device. The steam deck is really the only thing that could possibly hold a comparison but regardless, for whatever reason, people are constantly seeing this device as some brand new revolutionary thing that has never been done before

They’re two completely different games. The sonic racing games are literally fast paced racing games not a slow pace party kart game. I enjoyed them both people experience they’re not the same.

@CapNCrunch I remember games being 50 in the GameCube era and 60 in the 360 era 🤷🏽‍♂️ as far as n64 and SNES they weren’t cheap from what I remember. That’s kinda why retails even existed.

@TrueBlueYoshi probably. I ended up getting them at some point as a child. I can’t say. I was like 6 maybe. The issue with my mom is that should would complain about prices to this day lol she pulls the “ I remember when I got XYZ I paid XYZ back then, you guys are lucky I bought or spent XYZ for you kids blah blah blah”

@CapNCrunch even then I distinctly remember my mom paying like upwards of $130 for super Mario world and MegaMan X together at Toys “R” Us. We were living in the US at that time.

@KITG_GROUP ditto that statement I gave the first one and try and just didn’t really care for it. There are many other Castlevania esc games and hollow Knight was not for me. I definitely do think it was dramatically overhyped online specifically because anyone in my town and anyone that I speak to, don’t really know anything about it or care.

@SpaceboyScreams everyone’s entitled to their own opinion and them saying they thinks it’s over hyped isn’t an inaccurate statement or an accurate statement. It’s an opinion, as I think the exact same thing and same with many others. With that being said reiterating on what I said at the beginning, it’s his own personal opinion. They didn’t say it was bad. They said it wasn’t for them so….

@Smithicus agreed. Not everyone likes Metroid esc games. I like Metroid and that’s really it. Any game in the vania genre has been lack luster to me and frankly just the same game over and over again. I didn’t care about hollow knight at all. So all of the silk song hype has been going over my head.

Currently playing/ reviewing it. It’s fun. I like the other toree games a bit more. This one clearly takes inspiration from the Sonic adventure series and also has story beats and imagery from adventure one and two alike.

Bro, a Pokémon rhythm game using the music from the games would be freaking amazing. There are a ton of soundtracks. I can choose from. I don’t think that’s what this is teasing, but that would be awesome.

Ok? So stop buying Xbox and PlayStation games physically too? Many of those games aren't on the disc and it's luck of the draw if you know what is and isn't. At least with the game key card you know that those aren't on the cart. I see this as transparency.

Mario party and Kirby go up to 80$ because the DLC included is 20$ and includes the upgrade so that makes since to me personally. Upgrades just like on the PlayStation at 10$ so you do the math on the other games that are ports.

I’m sick of everybody trying to make comparisons between the MCU and the actual comic books. The books have been around far longer and that’s what this is based off of. Comic book fans don’t even care about the MCU. we usually complain about how inconsistent and incorrect it is. I’m OK with squares game. they stated that its own story. I’m OK with this game considering it’s based off of the comics and still has its own story I might add.

Want to call something a legitimate copy then look at crash. Sony is allways copying Nintendo and back in the day when crash was owned by them they did just that.

There’s no comparison between this game and MARIO kart idk why people keep comparing them. This game is fast paced as hell and isn’t even about being a party game let alone a game like Mario kart. Reviewers are absolute trash because all they want to do is compare and never let anything stand on its own. This game is nothing like Mario kart and you should give it a try if you want a fast paced racing game. Millions of people shouldn’t take the opinion of one guy just to figure out weather or not they will like something. That’s what’s wrong with the gaming industry now. Every game is now subpar or compared to everything else

As someone that has been using VR for the past 5 to 6 years I don’t get nauseous or feel sick after playing Zelda. I own many VR games and experiences. People saying Vr is for first person has Never played any VR games before. If you feel sick put a fan on urself on low there are many ways to get around the sickness. Chronos not the oculus rift and even Astro bot on ps VR are perfect examples of be 3rd person games hell same with luckys tale.

Whoever wrote this clearly has never play MegaMan before this game doesn’t feel anything like any MegaMan game. I have this game and I really enjoy it. I see a lot of people here basing their opinions on this game on one guys opinion? You can’t let a game review ruin the game. one person doesn’t like it there for everyone else to follow?
