@gcunit the thing about decompilation is that its made to be as non-copyright infringing as possible.
A game's source code is like a recipe for a cake that only a few people know of while a decomp is like trying to debake a cake to get a recipe that makes a similar result. You're not stealing a recipe, rather you're recreating it.
Also most of them don't include assets which throws off like 90% of the infringement value

@RadioShadow I mean as long as it doesn't borrow code from the actual game and it doesn't include the assets he's pretty much okay in this scenario.

Whats funny about this is that Kaze Emanaur (who rewrote the entire source code to make it run faster and probably knows more about the n64 than most developers during that era) doesn't even know why it happens

I've seen a little bit of generations on the switch version and it looks pretty good. I'm still waiting to see the shadow part tho, hopefully it runs well

@Samalik It just feels kinda dumb to not play a fantastic game just because of what are essentially nitpicks. Like yeah sure they can be a little bit annoying but they're only gonna be there for a few seconds. before they move on.
Also the rouge thing isn't really annoying as it is more an unnecessary thing Sega of Japan added just to be sure they kept that A rating

If anything it's technically changing the us script and not the JP script

@Maubari I don't really see how a machine could overtake humans in game development.
Machines are definitely more efficient than humans with impressive results but they lack human charm, they basically just take what they're given and try to make something from that in the most efficient way possible.

@RygelXVIII That's the thing they can't "take it up" they're literally a small team who is passionate about rhythm heaven

One of them actually originated from a bootleg rhythm heaven mobile game funnily enough
