Re: Sega Is Looking To Revive Some Of Its Past Classics

0upshroom7

@Fooligan I'm down for another shining force, still haven't beat the original (lost my old profile) The success of Fire Emblem, and maybe the success of Echoes will prove that consumers still want that kinda game especially since Shining Force is closer to echoes (gaiden) in terms of World exploration, also Shining force was my first experience with the rpg/turn based strategy genre

Re: Pocket Rumble Misses March Launch Window, Devs "Unable To Comment" On Release Date

Not super suprising seeing that I heard it's still in steam greenlight, for some reason indie fighting games stay the longest in development, Thems Fight'n Herds Skullgirls, and Dive Kick to name a few. It seems like they're always adding characters and fixing mechanics, so I would assume that's what they're doing so no worries from me. Unless it gets delayed till next year I'm not mad, and even if it does there's plenty games in-between and right now I still have Zelda

Re: Deals: You've Gotta Catch All Of This Pokémon Merchandise

0upshroom7

@PsylockeRules Yep I've loved most of what Bandai Japan has put out in their Sh-figuarts line this and last year, I'm glad we're getting a American release so you may find them cheaper at a Barnes and Noble later this year (like the Mario Bros ones) If we weren't getting an American release Ash by himself would have been 80 dollars, aside from importing

Re: Playtonic Removes JonTron's Voice from Yooka-Laylee

0upshroom7

He was a Backer to it correct? At least refund the guy. No matter which side your on theres always two sides of the story. He paid a good amount to be a voice and was probably one of the many driving reasons this Kickstarter got noticed (for all you people who don't know who JonTron is he's a parody/review YouTube channel, think cinemassacre, and a big banjo Tooie fan.) I understand people who don't know him don't care, but Geez you do you Jon. Playtonic didn't call him up he offered, think about that

Re: Nintendo Fixes the Left Joy-Con Problem with a Small Piece of Foam

0upshroom7

@Miles_Edgeworth Due to my OCD I bought a neon switch, however I eventually bought the opposite color joycons so that I could have a solid red switch, also if you were to buy a grey switch that allows for more color options too, because then you can buy a two pack of the same color like double red or double blue, or Red(L) Blue (R) to sike people out that you got a reverse neon switch, but if you're patient I can see tons more solid colors in the future as a bundle or special edition

Re: Guide: Protect Your Nintendo Switch On The Move With These Carrying Cases

You forgot to list the RDS deluxe system case, it holds the dock, HDMI, and comfort grip and switch softly and tightly, it's just a bigger version of the one listed

Its also on Target's website 10 dollars cheaper, or was, I managed to get one launch week, it's great actually holds more than you think. It's super compact, beware of the wierd plastic smell

Re: Here's Why Nintendo Switch Games Cost More Than Those For Other Consoles

0upshroom7

Y'know whos been handling Nintendo stuff right? Yacht club games. Seriously if they release a physical version Treasure Trove, it technically at least judging by this article be 20-30 dollars for all the dlc, and all versions. A lot of third party developers could learn a thing or two from this small indie group. Basically a physical version would be cheaper than then the physical launch 3ds version

Re: Don't Buy Another Switch Dock Just Yet

0upshroom7

@Deanster101 My dock too is also fine, it's literally just a packaging/manufacturing problem, most of them we're either rushed out or warped in the package. Regardless this is a quality control issue not a design issue. That being said, adhesive felt, and remove the switch right.

Re: Feature: We Grade the Various Nintendo Switch Launch Complaints from the Web

0upshroom7

@Yorumi You took the words right out of my mouth, no seriously I meant to include most of what you said in my original comment, but I was rushed because I was heading somewhere without internet, but yeah I'm actually about to move out sooner or later, and although she's an adult and in college my sister is not good when it comes to talking care of tech (she's dropped and cracked every phone she's had). She's also the the reason my Wii has no GC controller and card covers, all be accident of course. If I do put adhesive felt or a screen protector on my switch, is for my family and younger cousins accidents , and for my benefit.
Any who I probably won't scratch it anytime soon, but not to be rude unless you are a kid though, most people who bought there own tech take care of it, or at least I do in the first 6 months, but I understand what you mean

Re: Feature: We Grade the Various Nintendo Switch Launch Complaints from the Web

0upshroom7

The switch has a plastic screen so it can take drop damage. The dock in fact does not scratch your system if you remove the system correctly as in straight up with the joy cons, wait until it clears the top of the dock then pull it away, don't drag it out like a piece of paper from a printer, I pulled my switch out of the dock multiple times and have yet to see scratches. Joycon desync was a problem until I dropped my left blue one by accident, and now there's no dysync (I know it's strange). Not only that I bought the left red and right blue joy cons for my neon switch, and out of the box the left joycon has no problems at all, so it seems it's something happening to the included joycons. Last but not least I took a risk by buying a launch console, and everything worked out for me, hopefully Nintendo will address the others. Also I'm positive they're planning a cloud

Re: Guide: The Best Nintendo Switch Micro SD Cards

0upshroom7

It took 3 years of owning a Wii U before my storage was full with just VC and physical copy data. The only reason I needed a external storage was for XCX and Monster hunter (cause it's cheaper digital). I'll probably only get a 64 if I ever run out of space, remember these games are cartridge based. all storage data used is save update, and download data. So far better than my PS4 because after 8 games I was out of storage, I had over 20 wiiu games before this happened

Re: Feature: Xenoblade Chronicles X - One Year Later

0upshroom7

@dsparil I honestly thought that was the direction it was going, technically you did, all of the tech used in weapons and skells was designed by all the races in NLA for the intent to stop the big bad, did you stop the whole organization? No but that's a thing for the sequel, who's going to pay for all this enemy skell damage?

Re: Feature: Xenoblade Chronicles X - One Year Later

0upshroom7

Loved my experience, I will agree with most it's not as great as the first, but it's still pretty awesome. I can't tell you how satisfying getting to and beating that final boss. My party was wiped, my skell was drained I had lowered his health to 1/4 he did his ohko hit me twice the only reason I survived was my laser buffs, I had 200hp the third time I knew I was going to die, so I jumped in my skell and it blew up but I survived, stunned by his attack I used the only attack I had left that plus my buffs killed him in one hit.

Great game, that final chapter was a dozey it made me cry twice

Re: Amazon Customers Have Their Say About Nintendo Switch

0upshroom7

@pubjoe I love gimmicks too, and you nailed it I don't like when gimmicks are used as a criticism, there are different words, if you're going to try to be serious say it's a feature, then you come off like someone who wants to see a product improve instead of not caring.

Looking forward to this can't wait to see the specs

Re: Amazon Customers Have Their Say About Nintendo Switch

0upshroom7

@gb_nes_gamer "gimmick" I'm so tired of hearing that word, gimmick is a extra sometimes a useless extra. When I think gimmick I think of toys and models, I feature that serves no purpose in the long run, like a transformer is not a gimmick toy it's a gimmick toy when it can talk, or its arm can fall off, or maybe a gundam it's gimmick is a opening cockpit. Everything on the Switch serves a purpose and everything is used on the switch

Re: Scizor Arrives in the Pokkén Tournament Arcade Very Soon

0upshroom7

@abbyhitter They get the content out there, and they're supported by Nintendo I like being able to hear about things earlier. Who can honestly say their subscribed or keep tabs on bandai namcos Japanese channel, and if they were why didn't they give this info or video link to Nintendolife?

AS for the video no other fighter matters now, only Scizor, every fighter after this is obsolete
