Re: Lovely Twilight Princess Figma Zelda and Link Available to Pre-Order Now

You can also get them from Bigbadtoystore.com it's American based and has great service if anyone's interested. I preordered Link Dx and Zelda without hesitation, funny enough the Link between worlds Link just shipped the day before. This site should report or figures more often, before I became a collector it was hard to find the right news areas for stuff like this.

Re: Weirdness: Shadow the Hedgehog is Rather Foul-Mouthed in Mario & Sonic at the Rio Olympics

Slightly off topic, I remember when I was 12 everyones favorite Sonic character was shadow mostly because of the game, and advance. If you grew up with sonic like I did, you at least have one favorite sonic character. Anyway, stuff like this always happens it's like becoming a parents for some reason, blurs thier judgement this doesn't apply to all adults, just ones who never played games with "grunting"

Re: Bask in Nendoroid Goodness in This Celebratory Good Smile Company Video

@Tempestryke I don't know if this will help but they are painstakingly hand painted, each invidual one. Also figures at this scale are very hard to mass produce with the sculpt they have, they also have very expensive license's. However some are actually under 30-40 bucks, Isabelle from animal crossing has the most accessories at 35.00 USD, but to some this isn't justification most Nendoroids are limited too so that doesn't help the price, plus imported

Re: Video: The Squid Sisters Stay Fresh In These Splatoon Music Clips

@Chibiterasu No you're right, but like I said in a earlier comment on a similar post , this is more for people who aren't planning on buying the amiibo, and the in game version of this is basically splatfest without the splatfest it's just a personal concert from the sisters. I'm sure the list of Amiibo use will update sooner or later, I'm also a collector but I also like to use them and I like the characters. People are still convinced that amiibo rip them off by having content locked behind for a higher physical price, I'm sure these were made to remedy this

Woop got the special edition yesterday, reminds me of kingdom hearts if it had turn based combat, I could mess with the u.i and Menus all day it's like watching a TV show. All of it feels so refreshing cant wait till it gets dark

Re: Metroid: Other M Zero Suit Samus Figure Can Be Posed, Stamped On

Already got my preorder in on Bigbadtoystore a week ago, I try to limit myself to one figma a year, but the selection at the end of the year have been great, this and Link between worlds Link are a must buy for me, however if preorders for Celty Sturluson go up, I may cancel Samus
My biggest gripe is no waist articulation but this is probably the only 6inch scale Samus we'll get so I'll deal

Re: Hands On: Embracing Freedom in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Because I was raised more diverse in game consoles, this and Horizon I'm probably going to be playing all the timr next late winter-early spring, not only is it a fresh twist on a classic Zelda formula, but now Zelda is melding with my favorite genre, open world plus horizon is there for ps4 if I get too bored, or yknow vice versa

@nab1 weapon durability has its advantages too, think about this, like everyone else is saying, it's like the biggoron sword it's almost 2 HP more powerful than the master sword, but it's prototype the giants knife breaks really easily, until you get a blacksmith to make it indestructible, it wouldn't surprise me if they're planning on putting out weapons 3x or even 10x stronger than the master sword, but breaks in 10-20 hits, another possibility is that just like Link between worlds is, what Link between worlds did and there are multiple blacksmiths you can bring hidden master ore to replicate the durability of the MS with any weapon of your preference

Re: Review: Mario Hoops 3 on 3 (Wii U eShop / DS)

0upshroom7

One of my first and favorite Mario Sport games, it was a challenge being left handed but around the time hoops 3 on 3 was released I was an expert at using my right thumb at that point, also the buttons help out pretty well too.
I'm also not ashamed to admit that due to its difficulty when I was young hoops was the first game I used action replay on, just for cactuar tho, the rest of the unlockables I did actually unlock.
Man I loved this game.

Re: Hyper Light Drifter Collector's Edition Looks Pretty Fine

The whole reason I supported the HLD kickstarter is because of the Wii u version, and I wanted to make my first online purchase, now seeing the SNES style cart. Kinda wished I payed that extra 25 dollars, I'm sad its not coming to Wii u, but I recently got a ps4 so I'm glad for that still, what if I didn't have a PS4 or PC that didn't run it, what would I do? If the Wii u version does get announced then I'll change my order. Seems irreverent to make snes cart now, seeing it's not going to come to Wii u

Re: Study Suggests Rising Smartphone Ownership Among Kids Is Hitting Nintendo Hard

0upshroom7

I didn't get my first phone until I was 14-15, and it wasn't a smartphone , it didn't flip, slide, swing, or spin. It just called and texted, and it wasn't a hand me down, I think waiting to give a child their first phone is the best way to go, unless you live in a bad neighborhood, then it's for safety, otherwise wait until they're 15-16 that way in the time between anything else you give them becomes a hobby other than Twitter and Facebook. This whole situation reminds me of the Motorola RAZR boom back in 2004-5 every one was playing halo 2 and sonic heroes, and I was sitting high and dry out of the trends, and for a little while after Christmas, I was the cool kid on the block because, when everyone had GBA SPs I had a DS, and boy if the ps2 wasn't a gateway console, the DS was, so my start in gaming all the time started there, I had a 64 but only played it little , and a snes.
What I'm getting at, is that if you fill your child's life with things besides a cellphone , honestly you're doing them a favor Legos and leapfrog books are less likely to get them into things they shouldn't.

Re: Pokémon Sun and Moon Debut Trailer Confirms Starter Pokemon and Release Dates

0upshroom7

Welp Moon version for me, I may change my mind if they reveal what each legendary represents other than sun and Moon, I'd also like to see a more story driven version like the Black and White versions and their sequels.
Another thing I'll add this is the first water starter since the original Ruby I have no interest in, I'm Popplio actually scared they will evolve into a ring leader or giant clown lion, I don't mind spoilers as long as I can see the starters final evolutions

Re: New Handheld Channels The Spirit Of The Game Boy And Can Run Virtual Boy Games

0upshroom7

There was one point in my life where I was planning on buying another SNES or a mini just so I could take it apart, go to instrucables.com, and build a portable SNES with a custom made handheld housing, but then I realized I no nothing about soldering :/. Needless to say now that SNES games are on the 3ds ID rather support Nintendo by buying games on VC , than getting a 60 cart for a junky homade portable SNES

Re: Pikachu Is Getting His Very Own Pokkén Tournament Controller

0upshroom7

Okay knowing Hori we'll probably get the whole cast, I may not get pikachu, but if they release a Gardevoir, Lucario, Braxian, Sceptile, or Garchomp count me in. The sad thing is my standard pokken controller is coming tomorrow :/, but I don't mind having 2 if it looks as Slick as pikachu's.

Also people have been saying you can use this for PC, can someone confirm? I'd love to play Genesis classics on steam with this thing. If not it's still a pretty controller
