Welcome to the next part of our Kirby and the Forgotten Land walkthrough. By now you'll have beaten the campaign and moved on to the Isolated Isles post-game content.
Here we need to start out by collecting 50 pieces of Leon's soul to help rescue him. That's a lot of soul fragments. Let's jump in and see where they all are in this first Isolated Isles level.
The Isolated Isles - Forgo Plains - All Leon Soul Pieces
1st Area (14)
As soon as the level starts you'll find this one dead ahead
Underneath the wooden bridge right at the beginning of the level
To the far right of the screen just after the last one
Hit the three switches in the tunnel to reveal this one straight ahead
A stack of crates with monkeys and a soul fragment on top will be to your left hand side as you move ahead
You'll score three soul fragments for collecting all the green coin fragments in the next area, they're all easy to find except for the one in the nut that needs cracked open and the final one which you'll receive for bashing the sleepy guy on the bench!
Defeat the dark ranger variant you'll find shooting at you beside some normal rangers to nab this one
Hit the blue switch hidden under the metal walkway to reveal the next one
Bash the centre star block at the next metal walkway to get this soul piece
Beat Wild Bonkers to get another three pieces
You should now find you have 14/50 soul pieces and can hop in the first warp star to head to the next area. Good job! Let's move on to the next area.
2nd Area (13)
You'll find this one on the moving platform straight ahead, watch for the ghosts who pop out to fight once you nab it
On the platform with the ghosts, stand on it and let it move up to see this one come into view
Use vending machine mode to destroy the metal crates on the left side to get the next one
Stay in vending machine form and head up the moving platforms to the right. You'll find another metal crate on the right up here with another piece inside
Still in vending machine mode, hit the switch on the right at the summit area and blocks will pop up that you can stand on to take out all the metal crates directly ahead for three more soul pieces!
Next, use a bomb to destroy the bomb block on the right and knock down the enemies and the soul piece
Hold in bomb attack to direct a bomb at the bomb block behind the long spike barrier to the far right of the screen here to take out a wall with another piece hidden behind it
Avoid the boulders as move you move uphill now, investigate the shining spot on the left to reveal the next soul piece a little further up to the right
Crossing the thin metal bridge take out the walrus enemy then quickly hit all three red switches to reveal a platform to this next one
Hit the two red switches at the bottom of the boulder run to reveal three more soul pieces on the seat to the left
Now have a look in the hole the boulder made as it crashed through the ground, there's a sneaky final one to float down and grab here
You should now have 29/50 pieces and can head into the next warp star to the 3rd area.
3rd Area (9)
Hit the bomb block to right of fairground vehicles then run back to the left to grab this one
Nab this one from the twirling double-decked vehicles
Tucked in behind the next vehicle ride but it's hidden so look carefully
Hit the bomb block to the right of the conveyor belt then jump on and nab this one before it falls off the end
Straight after the last one this is hiding off the end of the next conveyor
Beat the phantom enemy who's stood on the star box to get this one
Collect all the green pieces in this area - watch out for the one up the ladder - to get three soul pieces here
You've now got 38/50 pieces and can head on out to the 4th area!
4th Area (12)
Out to the far right of the crumbling platforms, use cone mode to smash the square of metal crates
On the left of the next part, there are crumbling platforms leading down, stand on the top one to drop and fall to the lower one revealing a secret path, head round and bust the water pipe here to ride up and defeat the phantom for this one
Sat all the way out on a skinny crumbling platform to the left, smash this metal crate to get the next one
Exit cone mode now and drop down the right side of the platform to grab the soul piece you can see at the bottom of the sign, now hover back up
Take the crumbling steps down on either left or right and you'll spy a sneaky crate down here to destroy for the final piece in this area
You should now have 45/50 soul pieces and can move on to the boss battle to get the final five soul pieces!
Phantom Gorimondo Boss Battle
Oh dear. It's Gorimondo, he's back, but this time he's much stronger, faster and harder to beat!
This fight will follow the same basic rhythm as your last fight with this massive gorilla, however this time there are a few key changes to how he does his monkey business. Read your guide below if you're having trouble...
Congratulations, you'll now receive your final five soul fragments for Forgo Plains and can be on your merry way! Good job!
