Re: Feature: A Night at the Arcade

Anyone know if anything like this still exists in London? I know there are gaming bars but I just want a proper retro arcade, or something along those lines of being just for retro gaming.

Re: Nintendo Seeks a Trademark for Mario Coin Sound

I'm fine with this; it's a pretty iconic sound so I think it's fair enough for them to try and trademark it, but I really do hope they don't go after people using it fairly. It's an iconic sign; let people using it for fan projects use it in peace!

Re: Nintendo Seems To Be Deleting Super Mario Maker Levels Without Explanation Or Warning

I've had this happen to more than one of my levels and I think it's absolutely terrible on Nintendo's part. Levels should not be removed just because they were bad or unpopular; only if they're offensive or exploiting glitches Nintendo doesn't want people using. The idea that because a level didn't get 10 stars and 100 players is absurd, most people simply can't get that kind of an audience. None of the levels I've seen deleted (mine or otherwise) deserved this, and Nintendo's lack of transparency or any sort of comment seems appalling to me. What if you made a level for a friend, not intended for most people to play? Once the level has been taken down there seems to be no way of re-uploading it save remaking the whole thing. It seems like a game with the tagline "Anyone can play it" shouldn't be deleting perfectly good levels like this, especially without any sort of explanation for it.

Re: Trademarks And Logos For The Next Pokémon Game Surface Online Ahead Of Tomorrow's Nintendo Direct

Very hyped for this; if it is indeed tomorrow's reveal it could signal Nintendo moving away from a third game structure. We were all expecting Grey and it never happened, so... it could also be a trademark for something very far in the future, but I'd be happy if this was the subject of the Direct tomorrow. (I'd probably also not be fussed if it wasn't though to be fair)

Re: Site News: Welcome To The Brand New Nintendo Life!

Absolutely love the new site style, especially on mobile; it all looks very new and slick! (although I can't quite adjust to the tile view yet...) I would say that I find the featured section on the News page a little irritating; I just want to see the latest news straight away! However, super happy with the change as a whole, so well done!

@FRANKLIN_BADGE @John_Enigma As @MailOrderNinja it really is amazing; it's some of the tightest game design I've seen in years, and really embodies how many people remember NES/SNES games of old-rose tinted glasses and all. I'd whole-heartedly recommend it to anyone who has yet to play it; especially now with the free Plague of Shadows DLC, as it essentially doubles the amount of content in it.
