Anyone know if anything like this still exists in London? I know there are gaming bars but I just want a proper retro arcade, or something along those lines of being just for retro gaming.
I'm not too fussed by this; I trust Nintendo to do a good and fair job with them. I'm just hoping it doesn't ruin Animal Crossing for me! (any more than Amiibo Festival did... -_-)
I'm hoping it ties in with a new Animal Crossing main series game (presumably on NX) and acts as a partner app; I can see you making designs, messaging friends/villagers and organising inventory space in between play sessions of the actual game.
Cannot wait for this; I'm saving it for a journey on Sunday but it will be very hard to wait that long! They always make really quality content; if anyone hasn't yet got Steamworld Heist (or even Dig) use this as an excuse to get it because it's absolutely superb.
Got to say I'd be pretty disappointed if it didn't do these things... to me this rumour's kind of like saying "Well I heard from a reliable source they're going to put the Nintendo logo on it somewhere." If it is true that's good though.
I'm fine with this; it's a pretty iconic sound so I think it's fair enough for them to try and trademark it, but I really do hope they don't go after people using it fairly. It's an iconic sign; let people using it for fan projects use it in peace!
I've had this happen to more than one of my levels and I think it's absolutely terrible on Nintendo's part. Levels should not be removed just because they were bad or unpopular; only if they're offensive or exploiting glitches Nintendo doesn't want people using. The idea that because a level didn't get 10 stars and 100 players is absurd, most people simply can't get that kind of an audience. None of the levels I've seen deleted (mine or otherwise) deserved this, and Nintendo's lack of transparency or any sort of comment seems appalling to me. What if you made a level for a friend, not intended for most people to play? Once the level has been taken down there seems to be no way of re-uploading it save remaking the whole thing. It seems like a game with the tagline "Anyone can play it" shouldn't be deleting perfectly good levels like this, especially without any sort of explanation for it.
I was very happy with the direct; we could have got a little bit more footage certainly, but traditionally Nintendo doesn't show footage until fairly close to release, and it's still a long time away.
@teamshortcut I feel like a new lot of Pokemon and a new region would be too soon though; fingers crossed for a new game in an old region? (or maybe even multiple regions, unlikely as that is!)
Very hyped for this; if it is indeed tomorrow's reveal it could signal Nintendo moving away from a third game structure. We were all expecting Grey and it never happened, so... it could also be a trademark for something very far in the future, but I'd be happy if this was the subject of the Direct tomorrow. (I'd probably also not be fussed if it wasn't though to be fair)
Absolutely love the new site style, especially on mobile; it all looks very new and slick! (although I can't quite adjust to the tile view yet...) I would say that I find the featured section on the News page a little irritating; I just want to see the latest news straight away! However, super happy with the change as a whole, so well done!
@FRANKLIN_BADGE @John_Enigma As @MailOrderNinja it really is amazing; it's some of the tightest game design I've seen in years, and really embodies how many people remember NES/SNES games of old-rose tinted glasses and all. I'd whole-heartedly recommend it to anyone who has yet to play it; especially now with the free Plague of Shadows DLC, as it essentially doubles the amount of content in it.
Was it just me, or was the icon they used in the trailer a game card? The pink rabbit looked as if it was in the cartridge slot to me... could be a mistake from the trailer, but seems fairly strange.

Re: The Wind Waker Baton Is Available For Preorder Via Symphony Of The Goddesses
Bloody hell that's expensive... it looks very cool, but $40 for a glorified stick is a bit much for me.

I picked it up despite already owning Affordable Space Adventures; absolutely insane value for money.

Re: Video: Pokémon GO Footage Leaks Ahead Of Official Release
Doesn't look great, I've got to say; I'll hold off on a final judgement until it's actually out but at the moment this looks kind of awful.
Re: SteamWorld Heist's DLC is Called "The Outsider", and is Coming Very Soon
Ooh, I am so excited for this; cannot wait for more details!

Damn that looks good... the villager amiibo has nothing on those!

@BertoFlyingFox According to @Serebii it will indeed be 5 minutes; https://twitter.com/SerebiiNet/status/702464125537013760
I share your disbelief though...

Re: Man-Made Pokémon Magiana is Revealed, to Star in Upcoming Movie
Reminds me of Mewtwo, being genetically engineered from Mew. Very curious as to how this one will turn out; it looks a bit like a metal Diancie to me!
Re: Sonic The Hedgehog Movie Confirmed For 2018 Release
Good god... a live-action/CGI hybrid Sonic the Hedgehog movie? I'll reverse too much judgement until it's out, but it sounds really awful.
