Yep it baffles me how people are okay with this and expect it to be patched in. Nintendo's whole online is still somwhat jankey and missing componets which have been a standard on other consoles and services for around 7-8 years now.

For all of the the gaming press hates nintendo I hear, I think nintendo fans give nintendo a ton of leeway when it comes to these thing. (One part ignorance/one part fanboy)

I always wondered why Level-5 never brought inazuma eleven to the US. Youth Soccer is really popular here and the sport is becoming more popular on the college and pro level.

So there is going to be a new Wii U Virtual Console. Expected and I hope the rollout is fast.

HDDs used in the wii have to be formatted to not work with PCs and are only guarntted to work with the a Y style cable.

the nintendo network points can be used on the 3ds eshop. Meaning the 3ds will probably get a firmware update to have NN as well as NN is replacing club nintendo.

Wii U is going to be good for indie devs.

Let's be honest in the console market their are really only two big shooters which are COD and Halo. We could probably add killzone as well.

I those rumors are FUD. The game is being published by Nintendo, Just like Mass Effect not being on any other consoles i'm not expecting much here.

Great write up. The Nintendo events have gotten me excited for the Wii U and even pondering getting one around launch.

It should be noted in the article that on his twitter Patcher said he was impressed with the game launch and he expects it to do well throughout the launch window even with prssure against low priced tablets.

There is a difference between patchers personal opinion and what he puts out when he's representing wedbush.

I was under the impression that MMOs costa ton of money no matter how the graphical level was. That and the mmo has been worked on since before amaular I didn't count it. From my understanding if they would have shuttered the mmo and sped on with amular 2 they would have surived.

I was raised to believe that next gen didn't star till Sony said so.

Also that list isn't really accurate as many of those studios on the list like 38 didn't close because of expensive bugets but bad mangement.

Eh kind of sad but nintendo power failed to stay relevant by having a digital presences in magazine or website form. Videogames especially have this problem if you aren't a feature heavy publication like edge or game informer.

personally all the magazines I read are digital even the ones that would benefit more from print like GQ or details. Only get two magazines in print still and would grab the odd np issue when it had a cool cover story.

Would have been cool if nintendo would have took over the magazine and had made it similar to the touchpad pivot magazine.

While I love metroidvaina the series def needed a rest from the formula after all the Iga games. In the meanwhile there are a ton of other metroidvaina ln other consoles.

Thought this was only confrimed if there were two tablets being used.
