As you're no doubt already aware, Guild 01 is an interesting compilation of games spanning from four unique developers. Liberation Maiden has already graced our 3DS consoles, with Aero Porter and Crimson Shroud making their way to the west in the not-too-distant future.
One title that hasn't been mentioned for Western release is Omasse Rental Weapon Shop, the a fantasy rhythm RPG written by Yoshiyuki Hirai. In an interview with Siliconera, Level-5 said that it would need to focus entirely on translation - as it's a quite text heavy- title - and if they could target an audience in the West:
What happened to the "Omasse Rental Weapon Shop" game? Is LEVEL-5 International America planning on bringing this over?
We’re still wholeheartedly considering how to or whether or not we can make that title work at the moment. The game is actually extremely text-heavy, and it functions on the expressive power of its text and language. Hirai-san, the creator, is a famous comedian in Japan, and the game is deeply rooted in his talent for expressing Japanese culture through language. We need to consider the high pedigree of translation required, and the time and money needed to do that with this amount of text may surprise you. Another factor we need to consider is whether or not a large enough audience outside of Japan would appreciate a game that relies so heavily on knowledge of Japanese culture.
During the summer, a sequel to Guild 01 was announced - Guild 02 - which has games from Keiji Inafune, as well as Chunsoft sound novel creators Kazuya Asano and Takemaru Abiko. When asked if this would make its way overseas, the response was:
We hope to do so at this point, but the Japanese version is still in production, so we kindly ask for your patience for an announcement if we do decide to bring them over.
Patience is a virtue, which sadly we don't have. A game which seems to be on most people's radar is Fantasy Life, which has only been given a Japanese release.
What else is LEVEL-5 International America working on? Will we see any other titles like Time Travelers, Fantasy Life or The Little Battlers Experience in the West?
LEVEL-5 International America works alongside LEVEL-5’s headquarters in Japan to assess the markets for titles in both North American and Europe. Their goal is to figure out how to maximize the potential of LEVEL-5’s entire spectrum of current and future properties in each region, whether that be for existing franchises such as the Professor Layton series, which is popular in the West, or for Inazuma Eleven, currently being broadcasted in over 10 countries throughout Europe and South America.
Essentially, L5IA doesn’t exist solely to self-publish titles that have already been released in Japan; its mission is to explore all the possibilities of a given title and how best to deliver it to our fans. The feasibility of releasing our titles sometimes hinges on business decisions, but the goal of L5IA is to make our titles available to as many people as possible.
So there you have it, we know why Guild 01's Omasse Rental Weapon Shop might not have the audience it deserves in the West, and it is possible that Fantasy Life could venture across the seas in the future. We can only keep our fingers crossed.

I'm still hoping for Omasse Rental Weapon Shop )
at least give the chance for a european release xD
I want Fantasy Life so bad. Being a huge Mother fan I know that Brownie Brown will have made an awesome game. I hope that NOE strikes a deal with Level 5 for an eshop release if they don't want to risk full retail.
I always wondered why Level-5 never brought inazuma eleven to the US. Youth Soccer is really popular here and the sport is becoming more popular on the college and pro level.
I really like their work. Hope to see some more Inazuma in UK.
I'd very much like to see Fantasy Life. Best of all would be if Level-5 was working on Dragon Quest XI.
I was actually hoping this one would come out. I love the idea behind it
I hope this does get a western release. Its one of the two Guild 01 games that interests me, the other being Liberation maiden. I also hope that Time travelers gets a western release, that looks like a very interesting game.
@Zyph well it won't due to problems they already stated. What sucks about this also is this is the game that interested me the most & we'll have no complete set in the west due to circumstances.
Fantasy Life!
