@SmaggTheSmug When portugal won it reminded me of when Greece won the EUFA 2004 that took place in Portugal. They also played horribly, yet they won and no one complained about it. So why was Portugal winning the EUFA 2016 such a big deal? And they only played bad during the group fase. After that they played good. Not the best team but not bad.
So it was not throughout the entire tournament.
@Blizzia Ok. I'll have to agree with everything you said on your last post but I didn't say that it was you who said Portugal didn't deserve to win. I just said it's actually a general feeling. I have to agree with Shiryu on that one. Hope to see you around some more.
@Blizzia Sorry but you clearly said that you don't understand how a song that doesn't have a lot of english in it can win? If that's not language you are refering to what is it then? I know what people said about it? It's a portuguese guy. Every time Portugal wins something someone comes and say it does't deserve it. Look what happened when Portugal won the European Football/Soccer Championship. The portuguese in France were forbidden to celebrate it. The police closed the Champs-Elysées (the place used to celebrate this kind of events) to portuguese people that night and the Eiffel Tower (who would display the flag of the country that won a game in a that day) displayed the France flag instead of the Portuguese flag. Look I do understand what you're saying but you should hava said it some other way. Some people may be offended by the way you gave your opinon (in your first comment). The other comments are ok. Let's just forget about it and agree taht Eurovision (to us ) is bad and that both of us have to watch it or bear it because of our girfriends.
To me both Ukraine and Portugal were good winners. At least they broke with the Eurovision context (as you say it) but so did Lordi and no one speaks ill of him. Why? At least you were right about the portuguese singer labelling the other songs as fast food... that was a very bad commment and he suffered in his own country because of it. Just not enough i'm afraid.
@Blizzia So only musics YOU understand the language should win? What about the thousands/millions of people out there who don't understand english because they studied other languages like french or german or spanish or even... chinese. And the portuguese song was actually quite good. At least an intelligent song won instead of most of the others whose only good thing (and that only sometimes) are the light effects. The judges don't go only for the lyrics. It's the feeling the person puts into it, the melody, the voice and so many other aspects that have nothing to do with lyrics. And no one ever mentioned that the kind of song the portuguese singer sang was forbiden or that it was not Eurovision material. Tell me where that is writen.
Looks very good. But I'll wait for the review on Switch before I decide if it's worth. I love open world games and the "crafting and farming" are just good add's on. But Im worried we migth not lose much time with those wich would ruin the game. Just my opinion. Guess I'll check the PS4 version to get a better idea of what to expect .
I'll wait a little longer and learn more about the game before getting it. But it sure does look good. Can't wait to play this with my elder son (9 years) if I really get it. I still remember playing the first version of Pac-man and playing a new version on the Sega Megadrive/Genesis. I found that version amazing. If this one it is close as fun as the Megadrive/Genesis version I will surely buy it.
Both my kids saw the video annoucing the Labo. My youngest one (3 years old) loved it and "wants it all", my eldest (9 years old) said it could be interesting and definitely loved the robot set and both the piano and remote-controlled constructions. Still he did point out that they look fragile and that after some use the sets would become boring and would amount to a pile of cardborad on a corner. If a 9 years kid thinks this way i find myself wondering if this is really a good idea. It's innovative that's for sure and i do see myself helping and playing with my kids... but my eldest is right. All the toys I bought them that resemble some of the sets are now in the garage inside a box to be given away... and thay are not card made.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE I agree. The footage is the early stages for both the XB 360 and PS3. The Wii version would be diferent. Remember the Captain America game. PS3 and the XB 360 had similar versions. But the Wii one completly diferent.
Shinning Force 2 in the mega drive/genesis is still one of my favorite games ever as well as Shinning Force 3 for the Saturn (still play them both sometimes). Recently I've been playing Shinning Force 1. It's good but I think the next two are better. It would be amazing for a new Shinning Force to happen. Since Camelot left Sega the Shinning series have not been very good. I'll be tuned to this.
@ollietaro I have to agree with you. They say they are not comparing the two versions, but they are. The power gap between both is undeniable but to tell the truth the game, as it is, is amazing for the New 3DS. I mean it is comparable to Hyrule warriors visually and Hyrule was considered a little gem for both 3DS and New 3DS. Why not this one? I have both Fire Emblem warriors for Switch and New 3DS (Switch for me and my elder son, New 3DS for my younger one) and I've played both versions. They are both amazing each in it's own system. I don't agree with the review. The game for the New 3DS deserves much more.
I guess Sonic fans got what they deserved for a few years now. The game is very good and made me feel like playing my elder sonics on my mega drive/genesis. It's just a shame I can't play my Sonic CD. Borrowed it a couple of years ago. The guy went to Germany. Never saw him again nor my Sonic CD
It actually looks nice to me. Seems a lot like streets of rage (2 or even 3) more so than final fight. Graphically it ain't bad. The 3D backgrounds seem good and charaters appear to be decent. Let's just hope this doesn' t end like '90s Arcade Racer. If it's any good I will get it... but never at day one.
@electrolite77 Apart from the last four I've got all the other games listed for the mega cd and a few others like night trap sewer shark, tom cat alley, silpheed, road avenger, some formula 1 game - one of the best i've played until now - and two or three more that i don't remember wich ones nor where did I put store them.
@fortius54 Played it a few years ago (2 years ago I think). It was still good but it just didn't feel like back in the day. Then again once I started playing I just had to finish it.
@electrolite77 Yes, it really was utter rubbish indeed. It was one of those games that was so bad it was good. You started playing and you just wanted to finish it as soon as possible so you would never touch it again (and to see if it lead to something interesting in the end... it didn't).
That's why I said you started playing and couldn't stop.
@ZeldaToThePast I get what you mean. Still it offered a few good games. The best Sonic to date (Sonic CD) and the incredible (at the time) Silpheed and the best version of Final Fight ever.
Then there are precious gems like Road avenger... and the amazing Tom Cat Alley and Bug Blasters and... I'm going to stop now.
Ah yes. I do remember playing this on the Sega CD. It was crapy indeed, cheesy and with very bad acting. But once you started playing you simply couldn't stop. It's a shame most of you here do not understand how important this game was at the time.
Sewer Shark anybody???
@Shiryu News is news. NL isn't promoting anything new. This happens everywhere. It's the standard for most consoles. It can actually play in favor for nintendo. You´re Portuguese? Me too. From Leiria. Haven't heard that expression in a long time.
Sonic CD was the best ever. Sonic 2 was also great. Never cared much about the others after CD. Sonic 1 was good but 2 had improvments over it. Then came Sonic CD (on the Mega-CD and it had everything I wanted in a Sonic game). Happy birthday Blue Blur.
@setezerocinco Rigth. Your name seemed portuguese as well as setezerocinco. Three numbers in portuguese. Well, at least it was nice to know you. See you around I guess.
I love my nintendo 3ds's (both old and new) but I do think that , by early 2018 we will see it being dismissed by nintendo. Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei games being developed to the Switch at this point proves us that. I will still have a blast with it by the time being.
English VA for me since I won't get in my native language. So I like to hear something i can understand. Spanish and Russian are also great. And I agree that the japanese Va in the crying scene is just plain over the top. Sounds better in other languages. More subtle.
I was eager to buy this at launch (even promised to my eldest son I would) and now I don't know what to do. I don't feel like buying the Switch at launch. The launch lineup is a disgrace indeed.
Simply amazing. I', compeled to buy both versions. Wii U and Switch. What are the editions for Europe and what is their content. The special and master editions for North America seem really nice.
Already own most of them. Maybe I'll get Yoshi's Woolly World (When or if it reaches EU). My kid is always asking for it and I admit I'm curious about the game myself. The N3DS bundle is also nice. Already own two XL N3DS's but it's a great opportunity for someone who wants to upgrade i guess.
