Never played a Picross game and am usually not into puzzle games but this looks like it could be really fun. Have enough gold coins to cover the price so will definitely be trying this out when it releases!

@bluesdance yeah not as much as they used to be. They will still get on for an hour or 2 a week and entertain themselves. I think Minecraft will be one of those games they always go back to, like gaming comfort food. Though my oldest will be 13 by then so who knows what type of crap he'll be into by then lol

Yikes, I usually try to be pretty positive but that looks atrocious. And the price is a bit outlandish too. Doesn't look like this will be a hot holiday item. Though it'll probably be 70% off by early next year

@FTL no 2 hours is fine. They are very active kids, play sports all year round and have good balance in their lives. 2 hours is a fraction of what most kids get these days unfortunately so I think they will be ok, thanks though.

@Yorumi I don't get it either. It's incomprehensible. My boys have friends whose parents are like that, almost terrified to say no to their precious little demons. Can't even imagine me or my siblings saying no to my mom about video games. I might not be alive to make this post if I did lol!

"Parents don't know what to do".... How about being a frickin parent and telling little Jimmy it's time to get off. It's really not that hard. I have 2 boys who want to play fortnite all the time but they understand the limits. They usually only game an hour or 2 a day (a bit more on weekends) and I only let them play Fortnite at most every other day. The whole mentality of blaming outside factors instead of folks taking responsibility needs to stop!

This is ridiculous imo. It's super easy to tuen off auto renewal on every subscription that I have. If someone doesn't have the wherewithal to put a reminder in their phone to cancel or doesn't actuality read the terms that clearly state auto renewal is on automatically that's on them to me.

The NES games were cool at first but I don't think we've opened the app in months. Many of the games honestly don't hold up very well and without the licensed games there's really not much more quality they can add to it imo. They really need to move onto another system sooner rather than later

Someone needs to remind Sega that the Saturn and Dreamcast existed and both have a great library of games that should be resurrected! I mean the Genesis/MD were great but they're released these games 20 times already, wish they would be as proactive with their later titles as well.

Was really REALLY hoping Borderlands was coming over too but this is a decent thing to get for the switch. Got it free from plus and after a couple hours realized it wasn't for me but it is a well made game. Hope the port runs well!

@Audigore0733 I love my switches and their potential as much as anyone but if you had played RDR2 you would see why I'm saying that it just wouldn't work well in its current form.

@Audigore0733 happens frequently. Legitimate stores throw stuff up there all the time. Sometimes true and sometimes not. Various retailers have been putting up a Mass Effect Trilogy remaster for 5 years now and hasn't come to fruition for example. Highly doubt it's coming to the switch and if so there will need to be some substantial downgrading

I would probably play this 100% in the 2d mode! Looks a lot better to me don't know why. Glad this is finally actually coming out after being the first switch game ever mentioned!

Played the demo with my kids and we had a great time with it. Really seems like another platforming gem!

Thought it was a good presentation. Was definitely lacking in games but I'm glad they went with the format they did as opposed to Microsoft Inside Xbox. Hope they stick with it!

@electrolite77 music licensing is pretty expensive. I doubt it would be worth it time wise and financially to go back and renew all those lapsed contracts for a years old game that will sell maybe a million or 2 on switch. Like I said I would love it as the Forza games are the literally the only reason I bought an Xbox One, but I just don't think itll happening. We'll see though.

@electrolite77 older forza games have been delisted because of licensing issues ecen on xbox stores. Doubt they would renew them just to sell them on switch. Don't get me wrong I would absolutely love having even older forza games on Switch but just don't see those coming. Super Lucky Tale seems to be the most obvious next step.

Excited for it. Will be there at launch. I view it as just an OPTION for people that have the infrastructure to get games in different ways. I don't think in the short term (10 years) this kind of thing will be the primary option. Gamers are so quick to get their pitchforks, it's tiresome really.

Nothing jumped out to me besides Cadence. Really haven't really enjoyed the last few of the nindies showcases but I'm glad they have such variety.

This was the only thing I saw in the showcase that I want to check out. Looks really well done,

Eesh this list is rough indeed. I know you guys had to pad it out a bit but 4 maybe 5 of these are a real stretch to put on a best of list. Hope this genre gets more soon on the switch.

I would not buy a digital only switch at all. Similarly push square just posed the same question and I would absolutely on the ps4 side but not for the switch.

This is a fantastic idea! I've gotten as high as 4th and can consistently get in the top 10. Hope I can finally break through this weekend and pick up a couple wins.

This has always been a no brainer to me and am shocked it hasn't happened yet. Official, licensed, Nintendo branded Lego sets! Talk about printing money, I would buy them all if there was a Zelda set, "for my kids" of course

Yoshi is the only Switch game on my radar until Mario Maker 2. I'm sure I will get Xenon and Lego Movie 2 (just saw it, fantastic just like the first!) when their prices drop.

Never heard of this series before! Seems gloriously nerdy which im certainly down for! Looking forward to seeing how it shapes up

It'll be $200 by black Friday. Pretty remarkable we're at this point to get so much data in such a tiny space. Have 128gb cards in my switches now but may spring for one of these larger ones if/when we get a "Switch Pro"
