Maybe that’s the reason Nintendo didn‘t give us folders. I am struggling to sort my my games on PS and 3DS since a couple of years now and find myself rearranging them ever so often

Concerned Ape made a game he loves to play himself and is constantly working to improve it, and will probably continue to do so until he deems it perfect, meaning he’ll probably never stop. So becoming rich in the process is such good thing and makes me respect him much more, than i could envy him. Since Stardew Valleys release it is constantly in the charts, it is just a incredible success story. And with the simple graphics, aging will not be a problem at all, even more so if he keeps on releasing giant free updates and upgrades. Recently i have tried to get back into the almost a decade old, back then, critically acclaimed “Harvest Moon a new beginning” and let me assure you guys, It definitely didn’t age that well. So yes, Stardew took that crown. Long live the King!

@LinkSword who reviews the reviewers
Now that it’s on sale and thanks to your comment i gave it a go, and must say i like it quite much. I have no problems with the controls at all and i like the humour and gameplay mechanics. Sure it might not be for everyone, but with that huge discount, i’d give it a huge recommendation!

Re: Event: The First Official Nintendo Life Pinball FX3 Tournament

Much respect to Spoony and Gaz, how long does it even take to ramp up those kind of points!? And how do you stay focused that long!!?? My score is mostly based on luck. The update really made this game playable again for me, with only 30fps at full speed the ball disappeared half of the playfield sometimes. In docked mode though, it seems to me, it doesn’t quite reach the 60fps.
I‘d love a stern pinball tournament but Farside although implementing smooth gameplay from the start and now also tate-mode is far behind in that matter

Re: Poll: What Did You Think of Nintendo's Big Switch and 3DS Reveals at E3 on Day One?

pAq

I really loved the spotlight! Mario Odyssey's possessing enemies and items surprised me big time, Pokémon RPG had me chearing and Metroid Prime 4 😭 .. you know...😊 leaving me with a very positive feeling for Nintendo's and therefore our future (if we make it;). I actually don't need any footage of Metroid, come on, we all know it is going to be gorgeous and incredibly good and i would actually prefer not to see any spoilers until it finally comes out in about 2 years or so.. Time to replay the Trilogy and the upcoming 3DS Metroid
Oh and that first DLC Pack for Zelda coming in 2 weeks is also something i am looking very forward to!
The other reveals, i didn't care for at all..

Re: Retrospective: The Awkward Birth of the DS, Nintendo's Most Successful System

Between the Game Boy Advance and the DS there was the Advance SP which had the genuine Innovation of a backlight which finally gave the opportunity of playing all the old and new games in darkness, it also was the first having a built in rechargeable battery and you could close it to a truly portable size and hereby protect your screen..

Re: Nintendo's Share Value Takes a Hit Following Financial Results

imo N is doing everything right this time. Coming december will be really big. i mean like reeeeaaaaaly big! Fire Emblem is already within the top 100 of the highest grossing, so my guess would be that those who hold on to their stock a little longer will be rewarded big time in about a year or so..

Re: Feature: Taking the FAST Racing NEO Future Pack DLC for a Test Drive

Funfact: I was planing on downloading it some time later because i haven't even played through all the other courses yet, but when I looked it up on the eshop, i saw one of the courses is 'New Zendling' and i immediately thought of the district in Munich, Germany I grew up called 'Sendling', which is one of the 4 districts surrounding the Oktoberfest, and which has a bit of a cult status because of its early hip hop and street art culture since the 80ies. I knew Shin'en was based in Germany, but could it be, that they are actually based in my hometown?
So i looked it up, and they are actually based in Munich, but in 'Neuried' which is right next to Sendling. 'Neu' in english is 'new' and if you want people around the world to pronounce Sendling right, you have to write Zendling. So i couldn't resist downloading it at once, to see if there were any landmarks i would recognize, and in fact it reminded me of my hood in the year 2121 It is a great game already, but now i have to support it even more!

Re: Talking Point: Unique and Affordable - Nintendo's NX Needs to Avoid Direct Competition With PlayStation and Xbox

pAq

What if it isn't really the controllers which are detachable, but the screen? What if the screen could be your smartphone or your tablet (IosX : NX first) or your TV, using the WiiU as a hub for those who own it and an actual hub for those who don't? What if you could use this controller not only for exclusive content, but also for the majority of existing app/android store games? To me it all starts to make sense now! @rjejr #78 @JaxonH #79 @3MonthBeef #117

Re: 5 in 1 Solitaire

This is actually the worst Solitaire game out there, because it doesn't really shuffle the cards. It happend to me twice already, that the cards came out in the exact same order. So 2 in 1 is way better!

Re: Metroid Prime: Federation Force Flops on UK Debut

pAq

I feel sorry for those who wont give it a try, just because others wont. It is a very well crafted game, with nice graphics, controls and astonishing sound, especially when played with headphones. FYI I started with Metroid Prime on Gamecube. I prefer playing it solo, but also have tried out online, where you'll have to wait a bit to find someone because of the fact that not very much people own it. But I'm pretty sure, everyone who owns it, likes it. It it quite possible, that offering Blast Ball previously for free, was a bad move, which made even more people turn their backs on it, because IMHO Blast Ball is a pretty stupid game. Federation Force is a great game though, and actually i will play it again right after writing this although i have an enormous count of alternatives.
